Yesterday i made a post to introduce my cat to Reddit and it surprisingly blew up. For those wanting more pics, here you go!

they have all gone to the vet and are doing SOOOO much better. i found them at a common dumping ground near my house and me knowing that’s common over here i stopped and looked in the box. nala- girl tortie, simba-boy orange, kiara- girl grey. they are the freaking best🩷🩵

I’m as confused as I am devastated. My cat Kingston seemingly vanished into thin air yesterday. I live with just me and my mom and the last time either of us saw him was Sunday night around dinner time. Yesterday morning he was gone. We spent 10+ hours combing over every little corner and hiding spot and nook in this house but he is just not here.

However, there is no way he could’ve gotten out!? Neither of us left the house or even opened any doors or windows. There is no exit point anywhere. King would never leave regardless even if he was sitting in front of a wide open door.

I’m feeling so lost right now and I don’t know if I should keep looking here or focus my efforts under the impression that he escaped. He is a giant baby with no survival instinct so I really worry for him if he is outside somehow.

This cat is my entire life man I don’t know what I’m going to do. I don’t even really know why I’m posting this I guess I’m just shouting out into the void and looking for any advice.

EDIT: I will call the restaurant tmrw asap. It is currently 1AM and I‘m not sure about the ingredients. Its a local restaurant so no online menu :(

He is a BIG cat, 6.5 Kg (vet says not overweight he‘s just really big)

The pot was a smaller one usually used for sauces and it was half full. I added a photo in the comments. portion was for two people (or one big cat I guess)

I‘m extremely worried and can‘t sleep so I will keep an eye out all night. pray for my poor baby please. I hope Kyuubi will be fine :(<3

I called the emergency vet and was told to wait until tomorrow as he is probably digesting it. he seems still hungry and fine.

EDIT 2: I just found him looking for more!!!

UPDATE: I called the restaurant and there was no garlic or onion in the mash. thank god. he is fine and hungry!

He's 6 y/o and fixed. Is he just kneading? Or is there something to be concerned about.

He stood out as the only male pet in a house of 4 other female cats and a dog and stood out in personality just as much. He was cuddly, squeaky, goofy, and above all else, loved so very much.

He passed after a brief and sudden illness after a painfully short 4 years of getting zoomies while under the couch, standing on your face whenever he wanted attention, and hiding in cupboards.

When we found you behind the trash cans that night you were just a few months old. You were so small and playful, even when your new sisters didn't care for the extra company. You were fixed as soon as you could and blew up like a chubby balloon and yet still found a way to squeeze into the strangest places. While you may have known your name it was hardly ever what we called you, bubs, bubby, patchy, mr.boy, mr.poops, and wittle mans. Your mommies will miss you, your Daddy will miss you, and your kid will miss you so so so much bubs.

This is a stray orangie car who started coming to my house for food so at first he would just show up whenever he wanted morning, afternoon, whenever he felt like it but nowadays I feel like he waits for me. Nd sometimes I'll open my door nd suddenly he's just THERE, staring at me with those huge intense eyes n giving me a fucking jumpscare😭other times he just casually walks up to my door nd the weirdest thing is he NEVER meows. Not once have I heard him meow. He just stares at me. So naturally I assume he wants food 🙂It's like he has trained me now. He appears at my door n stares at me n I give him food. Then he'll follow me to his particular little food spot where I usually feed him but here's the thing sometimes he doesn't even finish the food. He'll eat some n leave it nd then another cat comes along nd eats the rest so now I'm confused. How do I know whether this little guy actually wants food or whether he just wants to chill or relax around me?cuz he always follows me to the spot where I feed him so I assume he's asking for food but maybe he's just learned that following me there = food. He'll sometimes just sit near my door afterwards rest for a while nd then leave.

How do I tell if he actually wants food or if he just wants to sit around and chill?he never meows so I genuinely have no idea what he's trying to communicate when he just stares at me.

As title says. I wasn’t a fan of owning a cat, and always told my gf to please not bring one home. After months of her insisting, we finally agreed to go to the shelter and bring one home. It’s been 9 months now and I’m fairly confident i have the best cat ever. His name is Monoco, and he’s constantly sitting or sleeping on me. This little
Guy even helped me propose to my girlfriend. He had surgery on his eyes while in the shelter due to his eye lashes growing inwards, and is believe to be 6 years old. He was found in an abandoned house.

1. She said yes and i am engaged
2. His name is from expedition 33. Love everyone that caught that.
3. As far as i can tell, and the vet, he’s healthy. He does have regular check ups.

I am absolutely devastated writing this. my baby girl jessie is being put down on thursday. i am distraught. she’s turning 16 next week and has been the most beautiful, supportive angel since i was 12. i picked her out of her litter when she was 8 weeks old and we have been best friends since.

i’ve struggled with my mental health growing up and she’s always been there right by my side during my manic and depressive episodes. she sleeps on my bed every night until recently when she got sick… she has a cancer lump and it’s huge. she can barely walk and she hides away all day and night now. she also rarely eats which is so out of character for her. i can tell she’s in immense pain.. i am trying not to lose it but i dont know how i will cope come thursday evening…

I can’t even imagine the amount of love I’ll have when it’s been a few years 😭

2 years ago today my husband and I were going to Walmart and we pulled into Walmart a way we usually never go.
In the grass I see this tiny little kitten and before he can even come to a complete stop I open the door and run over to him.
There’s a cat colony at Walmart and this little kitten was one of the many kittens in the colony, someone was careless I hit him and left him to die.
I went back to the car grabbed an old blanket and wrapped him up in it, I called around it was a Saturday so no vet was open, finally I called the emergency vet that is an hour away and explained the situation they told me to come on and so I did.
When we get there I was an emotional wreck it probably looked like it was my cat because of how distraught I was, and thinking back on it I still cry because life wasn’t fair for him.
They told me he had basically been crushed and there wasn’t much that could be done except to put him down, I stayed and held onto him when they injected him and it was almost instant, he wasn’t hurting anymore he was finally pain free. I asked them if I could take him home to bury him even though he wasn’t mine I still feel like he deserved it. The vet tech came out carrying him in this bag and it was still warm from him.. I cried so much that whole car ride back.
I never got the chance to give him a proper name, I told him that if he would have had a better chance I would have taken care of him. This little baby lays underneath the pear tree in my backyard, I know it may be dumb to cry over a cat that wasn’t mine, a cat that was a stray and hated people..I just wish his little life was different, I wish his injuries weren’t so bad that he would have eventually gotten better and he could have had a family.

I just broght home a cat. His name is diesel ik its a odd name his last owner was a diesel machanic so his kid name the cat diesel. Diesel last owner died and his wife ended up abandoning the house so her pets all got taken away. Diesel has been in the shelter for a year. I broght him home today but all hes done is hide under the bed hes had food and water i got him to snuggle up with me and my mom a little through out the day but he still likes to hide under the bed for hour. Is there anything i should be doing to help him adjust thanks.
