I would say its from most to least historical and remembered in future history

2020s obviously > 2000s > 1970s > 1980s > 2010s > 1990s

2020s is the most historic decade since the 60s, no one will ever forget Trump and a lot of this decades event.

The 2000s will be remembered due to 9/11, War on Terror, Iraq, and recession and a lot of future people are gonna debate if Dubya did the wrong or right thing like people do with LBJ with Vietnam

The 1970s is third and 1980s is fourth because its only gonna be the late 1980s getting attention with the end of the Cold War

The early 2010s is probably gonna get skipped except for Sandy Hook and Bin Laden and history books will go straight to 2016 election

Then the 1990s will probably be the most historically obscure out of all the decades mostly due to how tame it was except for Columbine, the affair, and maybe Gulf War. So the 90s will sadly fade into obscurity once todays middle aged generations passes

My father has a very traditional mindset. For him, a respectable person is someone who leaves home in office clothes at 9 AM, comes back at 6 PM, and gets a stable ₹70-90k salary every month. That’s basically his definition of being successful and settled.

The important part is that my parents have significant assets/properties and surplus money. I’m their only child, and they have clearly told me that these assets will eventually become mine. However, there are conditions: I need to satisfy their expectations regarding studies and getting a respectable job. I’m not asking for or taking their retirement money they are financially secure and this is money/assets they don’t need for themselves.

So honestly, my goal is to find a career path that gives me a respectable qualification and a stable ₹70-90k office job, while also satisfying my parents’ conditions and eventually getting access to the assets they have already agreed to give me.

And I’ll be very honest: I’m not exceptionally intelligent, but I’m definitely not dumb either. This post might make me sound dumb . I can work hard and be consistent, but studying is not really my area of interest or natural strength. I don’t think I can spend years doing extremely intense academic preparation.

Given my background and personality, what should I realistically do in the future? What exams/career paths would give me a respectable qualification and realistically lead to a ₹70-90k monthly office job?

I’m considering MBA, CFA, etc., but I’m open to other options.

Please give practical advice based on my profile.

I keep seeing these on AliExpress and wonder how easy it would be to knock up a water cooling set up, obviously all aluminium...

The barbs are only 7mm id, would that be enough for water cooling? And how big a rad do y'all recon would be enough? A thick 240 or a slim 360?

My main pc is water cooled, though it needs a total clean out which is why I bought some of these in the first place.. 😁 so I'm not a total noob... I need to measure out which bits need cooling too.. I know obvs the CPU and the ram on the back... Where else would benefit?

These all seem to be 40mm wide so I'm assuming that may work out too big for something's...

Anyone have a thermal camera image of one running without the heatsink on?

I had initially looked at some copper ones but they were a lot pricier... Like I could do the full aluminium set up for the price of one of them (from the one set I looked at.. 😁)

it's not particularly high grade as far as pianos can go. i own a 1999 kawai rx-2, and as it was made for the european market, it has a nice all-wood action that's just a bit on the heavier side of average, which is how i like it (though i enjoyed the carbon fiber actions in newer kawais i tried).

it's a great quality instrument with a nice round and resonant tone (though not as complex as some c.bechsteins i tried but did not buy..🥰), and i enjoy tremendously my time playing it every day. the upgrade over my previous b2 by yamaha is massive, it feels like there is a much more direct correspondence between the sound image in my head, that i want to create, and the actual result the instrument can render.

i'm no beginner but nothing worth bragging about either in terms of skill (currently learning one of mozart's easier piano concertos, on a 2 pianos reduction). to some extent, it feels me owning this is an indulgence that is depriving a stronger - real - pianist from a good instrument, and that i shouldn't have bought it because it's 'too much'. even if again, as far as pianos go, this one is far from the top end of the luxury scale.

anyone else feels like this?

I’m a 25, and I’ve been in a job for three years where I work 11-hour days with only one or two days off a week.

At first, things went well and the job was fine, but lately, I don't know what's happening to me; I struggle to concentrate or get things done. Sometimes I just zone out thinking about random stuff or work-related matters without actually doing anything or I get over my nerve over trivial things.

Lately, I arrive at work feeling drained and unmotivated; sometimes that feeling passes during the day, and sometimes it doesn't. My coworkers have noticed this, and it’s affecting our interactions not in a hostile way, but some of them are keeping their distance. My bosses have noticed it too and let me leave early, but once I’m out or at home, I can’t shake the feeling of needing to keep tabs on what’s happening at work, or I feel guilty for not being there.

Has anyone else experienced this kind of dissatisfaction or something similar?

Morning everyone.
Adopted red panda king some weeks ago. For now everything is going well ( no deaths etc ) they are shy but at night they hang around on their cholla stick.

Terrarium is 50% dry and 50 % wet. BUT i was not sure about my ventilation and wanted to ask if this is good or not. all sides have a row of holes like you see on the picture and the lid I taped 50 % of the holes with tape ( the wet side ) to keep moist inside.

I wanted to ask more experienced people if this is okay. If not feel free to tell me what I need to change !
