Anyone else get slightly annoyed by the amount of brain dead people eating everything raw and genuinely arguing it’s better for you? It just amazes me how stupid people can be, not to mention it’s completely disgusting. Can’t believe this is genuinely becoming a common occurrence.

So one of the apartments in our building was sold, and it is now a rental. New neighbors moved in pretty quickly, even did us a favor of cracking one of the windows by the buildings front door hauling stuff!

Now they do this every week, and have gotten multiple warnings from the administrator. Somehow it's getting worse. No respect for everyone else who lives here, and they also somehow aren't intelligent enough to put some paper on the bottom of their trash bags. They've also never cleaned it after doing this.

I can easily prevent this why can't they?! Basic respect is over, and it is infuriating. The cleaners shouldn't have to deal with this shit, and we shouldn't have to wait for them all week so we can stop walking over these disgusting puddles.

Why waste the time to do it at all when we're just going to tear the top flap back anyway.

It's annoying when I have a YouTube video going to fall asleep to and I get flash banged by a white/bright screen. I like to pay a little attention to what's happening on screen while I doze off so it's nice when it's a darker screen that doesn't destroy my retinas when I glance at it.

I normally play it on my phone and even then it's super bright with my brightness all the way down.

I know I can turn off the screen on my phone or face it down but like I said I like to look at it occasionally as I fall asleep. I wish there was way to automatically dim or make backgrounds black.

He reclined his seat into my knees (I’m 6’4”) and I know he’s allowed to, but he immediately then put down his tray and is leaning forward on it to sleep so his back isn’t even touching the chair, so he is making it uncomfortable for me to sit for truly no reason. Luckily my wife is sitting next to me so I can man-spread into her seat but otherwise I’d be forced to jam my knees into a metal rod.

All summer long (and actually all my life), when I see recommendations for a swimsuit for women with a belly (my body type), it's always something that covers the belly. Usually it's a one-piece. When I was growing up, it was bikinis for everyone else, but if you have a belly you can wear a tankini. At least then women with a tummy could show a couple inches of lower tummy between the tankini top and bikini bottoms. Now it's usually a recommendation for a one-piece or a high-waisted bikini. I recently came across an Instagram account that started off with a woman showing off her round stomach in a bikini, and I was so happy to see that until she put an "X" over the video and showed that women with her body type should wear a one-piece. She had curves in the bikini and looked like a lump in the one-piece.

Why should only women with a flat stomach get the privilege of wearing a classic bikini that shows off the stomach? My tummy looks way better exposed in a bikini than it does squished into a one-piece or high-waisted bikini bottoms. Tankinis frame my tummy in an unflattering way. Women with a belly frequently look just as good showing it off in a bikini as women with a flat stomach do. I actually have something to show off in a bikini. Where's the fun in showing of no stomach in a bikini? All women are worthy of a bikini.

I didn’t use my kindle for a couple months. Charged it, signed in and had to register it again. Now I have adds. I got the kindle from Amazon Resale, so the option of Adds vs No adds wasn’t given to me.
I contacted Amazon customer support and first the problem was that the kindle was new (registered again yesterday) then the problem was the the kindle was old (bought in 2023) and they could not find a number they need to prove this kindle did not come with adds.
I need to pay 20 dollars if I want adds removed because “that was the discount you got when you bought the kindle”. NO I DIDNT I PAID FULL PRICE. AMAZON SET THE PRICE.
Anyway, I hate adds with every fiber of my being but I am not giving them 20 dollars.

Probably a minority here, but it's super lazy and annoying to me that any arena you turn too is flooded with; "(insert x) is the highest paid/grossing ever!!!!"

Like no shit, when everything now costs 1000% more than your comparison period it's not news it's MATH.

I'll insert a recent one (photo) about Spiderman's opening weekend gross as an example that in current society apparently that's a couple of years thanks to "trickle down economics". On that note, where the bleep is my trickle?

I've been applying for a bunch of jobs over the past few months and am barely hearing anything back. I'm pretty sure it's because before my current job I've worked at for over 2 years, my previous role was a 1-month job for a charity. It was only a temp job while I was filling in for someone else that left, but I'm pretty sure that, because I listed that on my CV, employers have been seeing that and thinking that that's me "flip-flopping" jobs.

Lost my birth certificate recently, and since I don’t have a social security card or a passport, I need one. I have the money so it’s not the end of the world, but man this is expensive for a government ID. It really sucks that these kinds of financial barriers exist for less fortunate people. This would be a REAL thorn in my side if I was homeless trying to make a change.

I’ve worn the orange-laced Merrell Sirens for 20 years. Decided to finally replace because my feet are a little bigger after 2 kids and I prefer to wear thick wool-blend socks with them. Got the new version on sale, but the quality is really poor. No leather, stretchy laces that don’t go to the toe, and they feel narrow. Just feels like plastic on my feet.

Even on sale I don’t think they’re worth it and I’m going to return them.
