Mod Approved [Try & Keep] How Well Does the 65” LG OLED G6 Handle Reflections When Watching Disney movies at home?
Congratulations!!!!!!!! 🎉 u/Kalyqto has been selected as a winner.
Hi r/Disney users!
Most of us grew up watching Disney movies, and we all have that one favorite we keep coming back to, no matter how many times we’ve seen it. But when you rewatch it on your TV at home, the experience may not always feel quite as immersive as it did on the big screen.
That's why we're inviting one (1) Redditor to try the 65" LG OLED G6 at home and share honest impressions with the community.
And yes, the TV is yours to keep 👍
What it actually takes to feel every frame in a Disney movie

Watching a Disney movie at home is usually about revisiting a story you already love, singing along to familiar songs, seeing your favorite characters again, or enjoying it with family. In those moments, you want the picture to bring those memories back to life with rich details, accurate colors, and a sense of immersion, without dark scenes looking washed out or reflections from the room getting in the way.
The LG OLED G6 65” brings these experiences to life with Hyper Radiant Color Tech- Perfect Black, Perfect Color, the α11 AI Processor Gen3, Reflection-Free Premium, and Brightness Booster Ultra to enhance detail and clarity, whether you’re watching movies in a bright room or at night.
How LG OLED G6 Helps Reduce Screen Reflections

Reflection Free Premium technology minimizes screen reflections, letting you enjoy a clear, immersive picture even in bright rooms. By reducing glare from windows and lights, the screen preserves Perfect Black, Perfect Color, and sharp details, so you can stay focused on what you're watching.
Filmmaker and film lover Joe Lynch, whose work includes Mayhem and Suitable Flesh, also talked about the LG OLED G6’s Reflection Free Premium screen and how reflections can pull viewers out of the movie experience
“Anything that deters you from the story and from the vision. That to me is huge. I’ve never seen a TV like that that’s had that kind of reflection-free before.”— Joe Lynch, Filmmaker

Discussion Friends party is Disney themed, what male characters have long hair?
Hey all, I don't know much about Disney, but I need a costume for a party. I have long (past shoulder) length brown/ginger hair and would prefer not to wear a wig. Any suggestions? I'm happy to buy clothes and accessories but it would need to be something I could reasonably wear on other days as I don't like the idea of one time use clothing. I do have sewing skills though.
I have light facial hair, I wouldn't be opposed to growing it out or shaving smooth either.
Thanks all!

David Ogden Stiers in a "what could've been" live action "Bonkers"
If Bonkers would've been made in live action mix like Who framed Roger Rabbit back in the 90s, I can't help but dream cast David Ogden Stiers as Vic "Stiff-Lips" Sullivan for the episode Toons, Trains and Toon Trains.
Not Safe For Magic We were on Space Mountain last month when it broke down, had to be evacuated! Spoiler

Question For those who Love Disney Parks but almost never go to the Parks why not and and Suggestions to get your Disney Fix?
I love Disney. I watch the movies and the shows. I also watch alot of Disney Park Videos, both official and from Disney influencers. That being said, I almost never go to the parks. I have been once in the last 10 years.
The reason for this is due to not getting that much time off from work. When I do have time for vacation I usually spend it with my family who does not want to go to the parks. My parents consider it childish. My brother does like the parks but he thinks its too expensive for what you get. For example, we all went to New Orleans for Christmas and he showed me how we would have spent 3 times as much to stay at the New Orleans Riverside.
My question is for those who can't go to the parks due to circumstances, what do you do for your Disney fix so to speak. I usually watch DFB but was wondering what others do.

What about you all? Did you find Lor adorable at that moment too?

Discussion If Disney ever made a 3rd Goofy Movie what would you want it to be about?
Not sure if they ever will (And if they did it would prob be on Disney Plus) but it’s for sure very nostalgic for lots of people and Max and Powerline appear to be showing up in more and more merch in the parks as time has gone by so Disney definitely recognizes it
But if they did what would your wishes for the movie be?
Honestly I don’t think they’d do another “sequel” but instead would do another movie that takes place before the first movie or in between the 2nd and 3rd because they’d want it to appeal to kids
And as much as I’d love to see Max married to Roxanne with kids and Goofy as a Grandpa 😅 I don’t know if Disney would want that since he works really well as just being Max’s dad already

Years ago I had an idea for anaglyph illustrations for Disney attractions. Put on your red, and blue 3D glasses and check these scenes out from the Haunted Mansion. Maybe I should revisit the idea with other attractions.
