Jesus Christ

u/uncriticalthinking 6h ago

Literally what I said out loud. Just put this guy away for life and spare us all.

u/zestycracker61 6h ago

Sure hope she lays charges.

u/VDruid52 5h ago

I would definitely do that if I was in her situation.

u/seaducks01 5h ago

That's not how it works. The DA decides if there are to be charges.

u/code_archeologist 5h ago

She can file a complaint with the police, and the DA should file assault charges at the very least for that shit.

u/Glittering_rainbows 15m ago

What DA's do and what they should do are rarely aligned. This among many other reasons are why you should treat them as cops, and ACAB.

u/Savetheokami 5h ago

If he runs as a gop candidate and wins he’ll avoid charges and be welcomed. Might be his best chance of staying out of prison.

u/skoffs 3h ago

That might only work if the other person is an underaged girl

u/Trouvaille5 3h ago

I hope that too. He needs to go to prison. Unhinged pos

u/ShittyBidet123 2h ago

Lay charges, cause she not laying him😂

u/RealityRecursed 2h ago

Charges for what, defending himself?

u/Bulky-Employer-1191 1h ago

People don't press charges. The authorities do that. Sometimes the police will ask "would you like us to press charges?" which gives them the hint that you will cooperate with the authorities when they move to prosecute. You don't get to tell them to press charges though.

u/SilverIndustry2701 13m ago

I hope the existence of this post means, they got the footage for court.

u/Fast_While4496 3h ago

u/boatenvy 6h ago

I'm thinking most of the brain has already been removed but best be sure by removing the head anyway

u/rvralph803 5h ago

Removed? Never developed.

u/Due_Potential_6956 6h ago

To the Winchester it is.

u/Ancient_Pressure4786 6h ago

u/definitelynot40 5h ago

I did a gasp the first time he pushed her into the trash (I guess it's a trash can), but when he pushed her again and it looked like she banged her head on the other table I gasped so hard that I'm kind of choking on my own spit right now. Boy is she lucky that she found this guy is a massive jerk and abuser sooner rather than later. It's unfortunate that she still had to go to all of this. I'm assuming that since we have the footage which looks like the security footage of the restaurant or bar, that it got escalated to the police and or to the local news. I hope that guys arrested for assault. I hope he also gets a little bit of justice in prison so he knows what it's like to be punched and pushed around.

u/This-Is-Not-Nam 5h ago

There's no brain.

u/ShizlGznGahr 5h ago

Devil Wears Prada: Zombie EP?

u/badvegas 4h ago

It looks like the brain has already been removed.

u/DarthGinge 4h ago

The zombie ep by the devil wars prada is amazing using a bunch of movie sounds clips and uses this one. Amazing tunes if you enjoy heavy stuff

Nah, that would cost us too much money. He needs 1,000 hours of community service, preferably in support of abused women in some way.

u/DantesGame 6h ago

No. This asshole needs to catch a case of street justice from a group of formerly abused women.

It's hilarious when conservatives suddenly care about incarceration rates when they witness a piece of shit go to prison. It's almost like we're locking up the wrong people

As long as it’s nowhere near the actual women he’s helping.

u/Careless_Working_898 5h ago

You want to put this violent incel around abused women? What a reddit moment

u/GeeYayZeus 5h ago

I don't know man, I'm not a judge. He just just learn to not hit women, and in a more constructive way than just sitting in a cell...over a argument that she unnecessarily escalated.

u/rantingpacifist 5h ago

Nah, then he’d be around vulnerable women. He needs 1k hours of community service picking up trash while bigger better men throw more at him

u/GeeYayZeus 5h ago

Technically, she kinda started it, he could legitimately claim self defense after she lunged at him, and she pickup a bottle in a threatening way after he was attempting to leave.

Idiots gunna idiot, what can ya do?

u/one-n-onlyRey 5h ago

Send him to prison for a couple weeks, the universe will work it out beyond justice

u/dream-smasher 5h ago

Like fuck.

I don't want this abusive violent SOB in regular contact with vulnerable, traumatised women!!!!

My god, I couldn't think of a worse thing for the women!!

u/GeeYayZeus 3h ago

That's not exactly what I meant, but it was pointed out to me, and I've since concluded, that she's not entirely innocent here being the primary first physical aggressor (with the shoving after being splashed with liquid), did the further approaching and picking up a weapon (the bottle) when she could have easily retreated.

Men should never physically attack a women, ever. But I think this is the case of two idiots being two idiots and not exactly a 'lock away for life' case. Watch a couple times more and maybe you'll agree.

u/nooniewhite 4h ago

Fucking no way! I know your heart is in the right place but this man is clearly beyond “scared straight!”

He is a menace and just needs lock up. He will do it again, and again and again.

Let’s not expose vulnerable people to him even though it sounds like a justifiable learning experience- people like this sadly don’t learn and we can’t saddle the vulnerable to being his “learning” subjects. But I do get your line of thought.

u/GeeYayZeus 3h ago

Fair enough, and obviously no direct contact with women in the public service unless it's to listen to their stories.

But to be fair, watch a few times more. She's not entirely innocent in this, especially after approaching him and picking up a bottle to potentially attack as he's about to retreat. Seems to me like a case of two idiots being two idiots rather than one guy who should be locked up forever.

u/ItsavoCAdonotavocaDO 3h ago

As long as it’s support… from a distance. No interactions. Blegh

Put him away for life? For pushing a girl? If he was actually trying to hurt her, it would be a very different video.. he could have easily done 100x worse.

He shouldn't have done it.. we can all agree,..

When she grabbed a bottle and started toward him, that basically opens the door to bad things.. a glass bottle is no joke

u/Inside_Waltz1275 4h ago

u/Mental-Wolf-2560 3h ago

u/glass_nerd 2h ago

I’m not usually the type to agree to this sentiment, but go ahead and lock him up for good.

u/Professional-Gas9360 2h ago

He just had a psychotic break for a sec

u/RealityRecursed 2h ago

Put him away for responding to an antagonist's persistent aggression in kind?

How about no.

She comitted the first act of aggression by trying to take his beer (battery), which she ended up wearing. She could have walked away but instead persisted (simple assault) and and got put on her ass. Then she picked up a glass bottle to use as an improvised weapon (assault with a deadly weapon), to which he responded more forcefully.

The only crimes were comitted by the woman. Every physical action from the man was in response to criminal aggression on the woman's part, which is self-defense.

If he wanted to do her serious harm, he clearly could have. Considering her actions, she got off easy. The man will not likely press charges or even call the police. If the woman involves the police, she will almost certainly be charged and rightly so.

u/bastardoperator 2h ago

He's doing this in public on 2nd dates, imagine what this psychopath is doing in secret.

u/training_for_saturn 2h ago

Life for that? Come on, I mean he's clearly unhinged but life? For a push, shove and a push kick on the hip?

u/Mr_Deep_Research 1h ago

Her behavior:

  • starts it by grabbing his drink causing him to spill it
  • after he throws the liquid in her face, she tries to attack him around the neck causing him to push her down
  • he's trying to leave, she gets a bottle and threatens him and gets pushed down again because of it

His kick was unnecessary but he could argue that he was trying to keep her down since she had gone to attack him.

u/SignificantCar4204 1h ago

People are replying to me about this thread saying the woman is the aggressor because she tried to grab his glass of beer.

These people literally need to be segregated from society.

That last push... that was a neck grab/push with intent to leave her fucked up. If she would've cracked her skull on the corner of that bench he would potentially be in a lot more trouble than we are talking about.

This asshole needs to be arrested for this blatant act of battery.

u/TheSwearJarIsMy401k 4h ago

The neck grab was murderous. I wish him nothing but long term, permanent suffering that never ends.

u/highimpac 1h ago

He broke up with her 100% and she didn't take it well snatching his drink, slapping him, and attempted murder with a bottle. Watch it again, the guy was just calmly sipping his drink trying to get rid of her when she had to impose her demand, but he had enough of her shit. I've seen it before with similar results.

u/TheSwearJarIsMy401k 54m ago

Incorrect.

She was trying to take her drink back from him. He had already been nasty to her for rejecting him and this was the culmination.

The bottle was his bottle.

u/maderfarker7 2m ago

Did you miss out the part where the woman grabbed the beer bottle? Could have seriously fucked the man up.

u/elderlybrain 2h ago

Imagine, he does this with someone who he's just had 2 dates with.

If someone does end up with him # he's going to kill them. Non fatal strangulation  is a very high risk predictor of homicide in domestic violence.

u/rakuan1 2h ago

Yeah I wish she hadn’t engaged him after he kicked her. He clearly showed her that he meant her harm and she went back for more.

u/Timely_Cake_8304 2h ago

Attempt to protect herself is not ” going back for more”

u/rakuan1 2h ago

In my opinion, protecting herself would be going the opposite direction

u/Neither_Pirate5903 2h ago

she got up and went towards him as he was leaving and she grabbed a weapon.

She had a glass beer bottle in her hand, poised ready to use it on him.

At that point, she is armed and he is unarmed.

u/Wickedwitch79 59m ago

Because he threw a drink in her face, pushed her down and then kicked her. She got up and grabbed the bottle to protect herself. He then throat slammed her.

→ More replies (63)

u/ORIONFEDERATION 5h ago

The way he pushes her by the neck with such force and yet it seemed entirely effortless. Holy fuck.

u/Easy_Aioli9376 5h ago

She's been watching too many movies. She was legitimately going to try and fight him? Girl, he's a man. He is much bigger and much much much stronger than you. RUN! He used like 10% of his force to push her, and she could have snapped her neck on one of the benches behind her as she fell. RUN! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!

u/Claireechibi 3h ago

Fight or flight isn't a rational choice. Some people automatically go into fight mode which is hard to override when your adrenaline is pumping.

→ More replies (15)

u/yumyumnoodl3 3h ago

she is a victim of modern propaganda

u/PsychicFoxWithSpoons 49m ago

Nope. She just didn't want to hurt him and didn't think he wanted to hurt her. Squaring up with the bottle was fine (considering how he attacked her), expecting him not to try to kill her was not.

If she had run and called the cops? Great idea. Do that.

The moment she squared up with the bottle, the end goal should have been permanent disfigurement, as a response to him trying to permanently disfigure or disable her. His actions were inappropriate and should have earned him a Corona to the face. (I see that she tried to stop him from drinking, which may have been inappropriate. The title at least is wrong. But, he was still out of line especially with the kick.) We would all be laughing at him for thinking he was all big and strong, only to get slashed by an improvised weapon and kicked out the bar. Instead she got fucked up because she was not brave enough.

u/Large-Translator-759 5h ago

Women entirely underestimate just how much stronger a man is than a woman. It's orders of magnitude in difference.

u/Professional-Gas9360 2h ago

Girls been watching too much TV

u/jml5r91 2h ago

lol it isn’t orders of magnitude in difference. When comparing an average woman to the top of the male gene pool, you’re probably looking at an about 1 order of magnitude. If you took averages, it’s probably 4-5x stronger. Still a major fucking difference

u/CrayonMayon 1h ago

lol it isn’t orders of magnitude in difference

oh?

If you took averages, it’s probably 4-5x stronger.

oh...kay

u/BloodAwaits 1h ago

You understand that magnitude is a measurement of 10x exponential growth right?

As in 1 magnitude is 10x more, and 2 magnitudes is 100x more.

u/SquareB21 17m ago

It’s not ironic, it’s expected.

u/SniffyMcFly 1m ago

Is that ironic though? Such behavior kind of comes with the cross. Take the Spanish, they claimed that their christian religion gave them the right to enslave people under the encomienda system.

u/ImpossibleClue7967 5h ago

Sometimes, we deserve the reputation we have as men. We have to be better guys. This behavior is not okay. Why would women want to us to be a part of their lives if this is the way we react? Disgraceful

u/Fletcher_Chonk 4h ago

Speak for yourself buddy, I didn't do shit

u/ImpossibleClue7967 4h ago

No, but we could collectively beat the piss outta the guys that do this. As a kid, plenty of people watched my Dad hit my mom and said nothing. There is a little collectively responsibility.

If you are a good person, I'm proud of you, genuinely. I'm trying to be too man.

u/Fletcher_Chonk 3h ago

The grand majority of violence like that happens behind closed doors, or as the video shows, in places nobody else is around. I've been running around in public for a decade now (that I can remember) and the worst thing I've ever seen in public was some guy arguing on the phone in a bathroom.

u/ImpossibleClue7967 3h ago

Guess we just lived different lives. Its worth noting i grew up in the ghetto, where lives are short and compassion is low. I recognize i may have a skewed worldview

u/DrPikachu-PhD 2h ago

Yeah I ain't claiming this guy or his bad behavior.

Been on here fighting the "all women support child murder" freaks for the past week because not all women should be held responsible for the opinions and actions of a few. I think that same courtesy should be extended to men.

u/Severe_Eye8245 4m ago

Ain’t our cross to bear, Shame on them regardless though.

u/bleezy1234567 3h ago

F that. I don’t judge women based on their worst. They don’t deserve that. And we don’t deserve that. This guy is an individual and he should be judged for his actions. Not you or I

u/ImpossibleClue7967 3h ago

I used polarizing language and maybe that was incorrect to do. I am generalizing us. All I'm saying is this is too widespread of an issue among men. Men hurt women at rates far higher than they hurt us.

u/BreatheMe111 2h ago

Thank you for saying this, it healed a little something in me as a woman 🥺🙏🏼 pls don’t let these other guys make you think you said it wrong. Until all men can say it like you did, this will continue. Thank you for standing up for us.

u/ImpossibleClue7967 2h ago

Yeah, I already got a message about "no ones gonna sleep with you bro". It's like we can't have an honest conversation about the fact that theres an imbalance in gendered violence. They are right when they say it's not most men that are doing it. What they miss is that its almost exclusively men. So there is a responsibility for us to grapple with why that is and what we are gonna do about it.

u/Altitude1096 2h ago

If you behave like this then maybe YOU need to be better. I sure as hell don't.

u/ImpossibleClue7967 2h ago

Fair enough man. I'm proud of you. Genuinely.

Let's skip the part where we are mad at each other, because it sounds like we are on the same side. Why do you think there is an asymmetry in gendered violence? Is it testosterone? Or the way we are raised as men?

u/Altitude1096 2h ago

Why do you assume there's an asymmetry in gendered violence? Sure, there's an asymmetry in reported violence, but I don't think there's an asymmetry in gendered violence.

It's wrong of you to just assume that is true.

u/ImpossibleClue7967 2h ago

Well, if we aren't going to use statistics man, then we are both gonna just throw around projections all night. I think the reports are relevant. That doesn't mean I don't have empathy for men that are beaten by women and not believed

u/Altitude1096 2h ago

Ah so you're just going off what is reported then? Then we have nothing to discuss.

u/ImpossibleClue7967 2h ago

No. If you want to throw around what you see in the day to day, I say that saying men are more violent than women is like saying the grass is green. My father beat my mother on the regular. Its not just statistics to me.

u/Altitude1096 2h ago

I see girlfriends beat boyfriends on the regular. I see women throw stuff at men. And that's just irl. So I ask again, why do you assume there's an asymmetry in gendered violence?

Do you never see women hit men? Do you never see women throw things at men? Be honest.

u/New-Trifle-7097 2h ago

I know all men aren’t like this. And I know more good ones than bad ones. But honestly, I’ve given up. The benefits of dating aren’t worth the risks. I’ve been taken advantage of for money, for sex, for amusement and for power tripping. I’m physically small and I don’t have a support network. From a self preservation standpoint, I can’t afford to risk relationships with men. I fill my life with friends, hobbies, pets and work now. I miss the companionship of a relationship but not the fear and worry and concern that I might meet a guy like this.

u/ImpossibleClue7967 2h ago

What if I offered friendship from a distance? The best I can do is offer to be a good guy. I'm sorry for what you've been through. I think we are unfortunately a ways away from men wanting to take any accountability for what happens out there. :/

u/xylophones4all 47m ago

Same. It simply isn’t worth the fucking risk. Period. And after seeing some of the comments here, I know I am making the right call. Fuck that.

u/puzzlebuns 9m ago

Sharing a chromosome does not connect me to this person or their actions. You're enabling prejudice.

u/ImpossibleClue7967 4m ago

Or we are so scared of "prejudice" that we don't want to ask ourself the hard questions. There is an asymmetry in gendered violence. Why? I'm tired of this back and forth with people because you know there is too. It's well established in literature and social studies that men are more violent. You are willing to throw your hands up and say, "thats the way it is! Nothing to do with me!" I am not.

I went "Holy shit, what the fuck!"

I hope that guy can be identified quickly and charges pressed. That's literally disgustingly shocking, and shockingly disgusting

I'm over here trying to wind down and go to sleep and this just got my blood boiling. I really wish I was sitting near them and he hadn't seen me there and I could have gotten up and done something to help her out. What a fuckin scumbag

Nail him to the cross!

Not even he can help this guy.
Holy fuck that video is traumatising. As the mother of a daughter in her early 20s I'm terrified. As a human being I'm utterly mortified and enraged.
Someone please tell me he's been charged.
