A few years ago, for some reason, I started being unable to access my account with my regular login that I had saved. My only option was to login through my Apple account. Otherwise, it just walked me through setup as if I didn't have an account. I thought that was kind of weird, but I've just been making do with using my Apple login since then. Then today, I got the dreaded message that my account had been locked and I had to reset my password. I reset my password, but now I still can't log into my main account through the app. The only account I can access in the app is my throwaway account. I I can log into my main account (this one) on a browser, but obviously I'd like to be able to use the app. Is there anyway I can get this resolved?

i don't know if this applies, but here's some prior context as well for my question:
prior to my current account, i had another one/different username in which i was pretty involved with a lot of the same fandom spaces that i'm still in now and made many different posts that had at least a few comments on each that helped garner a lot of discussion about a lot of different things

a couple weeks back, i deleted that account and made a new one (my current one) but now, for some reason, i'm getting max 2-3 comments, and nowadays 0 and i'm wondering if there's maybe some sort of reason why since i've tried reposting the same thing twice for both now 😕

I woke up to notifications about message requests, and when I opened Reddit, I found around 10 posts on my account that I never made. They were NSFW/AI-generated images. I deleted them immediately.

I've never made these posts before. Does this mean someone accessed my account, and how can I check my account activity or secure my account?

For a while now I have been getting the Failed to Fetch error when trying to add an image from the Reddit desktop site. I am using Windows 11. I have tried:

• Chrome and Edge browsers
• Incognito/private and normal browsing modes
• Home wifi and mobile hotspot
• Clearing browser cache and disabling all extensions
• Old Reddit (image fails to load)
• Different image types - every image fails
• Purging DNS settings
• Other Reddit profiles

Uploading images works fine on the Reddit mobile app, and on another desktop computer I have running Windows 10. So clearly it is something to do with my main PC. I can not recall changing something that would have triggered this.

I know these things are tough to figure out so I appreciate your patience and support.

I contacted reddit and they finally reversed the email change and I successfully changed my password but I still cant log in because the hacker enabled 2FA. I submitted a ticket again. Is there any hope that they can help ?

I don’t want this feature but I can’t turn it off. The default is for you and it’s offering me F1 sub Reddit’s which are spoilers and just force me to not use reddit. Give me the ability to shut off this “feature”

In the last few weeks the results I get through the search function no longer recognises my most visited communities as easily as it used to. For example I used to just put in T and television would be the first option but now options appear until I type more. This is worse with other communities.

my FYP is full of posts from two subreddits, but every now and then, refreshing it or reopening the app causes this to happen. it fixes itself after a while, but it's pretty annoying. ideas as to why this happens? do i need to join more subreddits?

I just started this acc a few days ago, I connected it to my apple acc, I really didn’t notice it until now because I want my gmail to connect in this acc also , until I noticed the email that was saved in my reddit acc is not mine, The email also is so suspicious that I think that it’s belong not to any person like random computer acc (i’ll put it in the comments). Exactly what the title says - I visit Reddit every day and the numbers haven’t moved in a week, beyond the 48 hour updating window.

I created my account a few days ago and there’s this one notification I can’t remove. I’ve already tried switching networks, different devices, relogin, clearing data and cache, but the same, this notification keeps showing up. Is this a glitch?

I hope the Reddit developers look into it and fix this bug. Thank you!

An event occurred in my life, which I wanted to talk about so I posted it on. I might be asshole. It got deleted then I posted it on MI the asshole again, using their proper formatting and it still got deleted then I went on vent and it still got deleted, even though I followed the rules I don’t know what’s going on.

My post is deleted by reddit. It was an my experience about my experiment with AIs. And also was link on that article for whom want more details. I've reread rules and don't understand why my post is deleted.

On the mobile app I get all of the options like Home, Popular, News and Recent but whenever I’m on my laptop using the web page there is no option to sort by recent posts which is really annoying.

Just tried logging into a different Reddit account and the option was there perfectly fine but when switching back to the account I want it on the option disappeared again??

Is there a way to change it?

I thought age verification was only if you wanted NSFW posts or content and I do not want that.

I understand its for safety but I cant even message the people I messaged before that notification. It says " To access chat, followers, and public profiles, please confirm you are 16 or older."

It wont let me turn it off due to the verification, is the only option verifying or not?

My profile is tagged as 18+ and I cannot turn it off, every time I do it comes back on. Help please.

Self explanatory title. We have that feature on android, we can easily download on the desktop web version and the iOS web version, but we can’t download any attachments on the iOS app. Seems easy enough to add in the grand scheme of things, and it would save a lot of time compared to either screenshotting and cropping or opening the comment on the web version.

for some reason won’t let me delete my account no matter what I do. I’m logged in with just my phone number and I tried adding an email and still having issues.

Every so often comments of other users disappear. I tap the notification and I get a popup saying the comment doesn't exist anymore. At first I thought the user deleted the comment but when I PMed one of the users asking why they deleted their comment and they said they didn't which means It's a glitch because it doesn't happen every time. Did anyone else experience this and where can I report such glitches?
