I recently graduated with a degree in Business Administration and I’m looking to get my career started. I’m pretty open when it comes to the type of role. management, operations, HR, sales, etc.

I took this at around 7:15am this morning across the street from my house. The cop I spoke with said the getaway car had been dragging the ATM machine behind the truck before pulling over to attempt hoisting it up onto the truck bed using their ladder. Someone called the police when they saw the ATM being dragged by so they were thankfully busted before succeeding. Crazy! And what is up with the TP?!

meet your new best friend! this is cinnamon and she can be found at durham aps. she’s my foster and is genuinely the sweetest cat I’ve ever met. she cuddles up in my lap and does not stop purring for hours. she wants lots of love and has lots to give. she is incredibly gentle and loves long belly rubs. shes polite and super well behaved. this is a unicorn cat! she also has a very cute meow. if youd like to adopt her, i imagine she’d fit well into any loving home. cinnamon deserves it!

I’m a recent stay-at-home dad looking to build community here in Durham, especially for other stay-at-home dads. It can be a pretty isolating role since most of the groups I’ve seen online are for moms or for just the first few months of parenting.

Many of my friends in the area are busy 9am-5pm, and with my little one, it’s hard to get involved in any local organizations at the moment.

I’m looking for fellow dads interested in stroller walks/runs, bike rides with their little ones, hikes, or other pre-toddler friendly activities (not ready for playgrounds yet, but soon!) My dream would be to have weekly outdoor activity for us.

Does anyone know of anywhere that is open Monday, Labor Day? I found a very tiny kitten with obvious infection issues. Eyes and nose are crusted over. Probably 3 weeks old. What do I do?

EDIT: I got an appointment at Truss Urgent care. They didn’t have appointments listed last night but today they did.

Update: it’s a boy! 3 weeks old. He has upper respiratory infection and eye infection both treating with meds. He’s still having to be bottle fed which isn’t something I can sustain long term so reaching out to foster companies!

I've friends visiting from the UK and they're eager to experience an old fashioned American diner, preferably where they can sit at a counter and watch the short order cook fry eggs, bacon, home fries, etc. in full view. There are plenty of fine diners around where the meal arrives from an unobserved kitchen. Any around with the grill etc., in full view? Edit: Thanks everyone. I don't think Waffle House will fit the bill. The search continues. Edit 2: Recommendations still coming in. You all are the best! Hadn't heard of Snooze, Hayes Barton Cafe or Tanya's. All sound like unique experiences and are sure to please.
