It was HER drink. His was the bottle, people. He picked up her drink to throw it at her, and she tried to grab her drink back. There are some seriously fucked up people in here. She only slaps him after he does that. He kicked her immediately while she was on the ground. She then picked up his bottle, and then lowered it, and didn't even move towards him. He then moves towards her, and jams his hand into her throat knocking her down. WTF is wrong with you people? Hope you all end up in jail.

u/eddy_flannagan 6h ago

One theory is they are also angry at women for not taking an interest in them

u/Beautiful-Musk-Ox 6h ago edited 6h ago

they feel entitled to a hot girlfriend, they deserve it and are angry when they don't get it. women are sex objects to them, not people

u/prprip 4h ago

Yes. This existed before the manosphere, but the manosphere is causing these men to simmer under the surface because we aren't interested in dating men who want to escalate to violence as a solution for every supposed slight.

u/AreYouMyDommy 5h ago

Ironically, those attitudes would be exactly why women don’t take an interest in them.

u/doubleapowpow 5h ago

Another theory is that he's a narcissistic man baby with no control of his emotions and uses his physical stature to punish those who dont give him what he wants by assaulting them.

u/MeasureDoEventThing 4h ago

We have a video that, by itself, shows her as the aggressor. We have random people on the internet *claiming* additional facts that puts the video evidence in a different light. Those claims may very well be true, but the fact remains that people are condemning this man based solely on the claims of random people on the internet. This speaks to misandry, not misogyny. If you take accusations against a member of a group as automatically true with no corroboration, that is rather strong evidence that you are bigoted against that group, EVEN IF THE CLAIMS END UP BEING TRUE.

u/jazzmaster105150 3h ago

Right! There was a second full glass more directly in front of her. He reached for the one more towards him. It's pretty easy to see he picked up his glass and she put her hands on him.

u/ParalimniX 1h ago

people are condemning this man based solely on the claims of random people on the internet

No we are condemning him because he kicked a person while they were still down, wtf is wrong with you weirdo

Reddit will find any reason to make the woman the enemy even if they just watched her get beat the fuck up by a man obviously way bigger and stronger than her. But she deserved it because she was reaching for his beer right? Jesus fucking Christ

u/lickmyfupa 6h ago

There are nightmare individuals still defending P.Diddy for beating up his girlfriend and dragging her by her hair down a hallway and continuing to kick her and beat her while she was on the floor. It doesnt matter how bad the footage looks. Many of these types of people just arent going to give a shit. Im just glad they are pretty vocal about how they feel while defending him so people know who to steer clear of.

u/tabas123 6h ago

A lot of those people had Diddy’s back and saw nothing wrong with what he did until it was brought up that he might also be having sex with and abusing other men.

Being gay/bi is considered worse than being a rapist, sex trafficker, abuser, etc.

u/lickmyfupa 5h ago

Yeah, the homophobia is disgusting. Way too many people making gay jokes which had nothing to do with his many crimes. 50 cent was a perfect example. He made gay jokes on social media about Diddy for years. Thats not exactly victim advocacy.

Men will ALWAYS defend other men. Even if it’s men they’ve never spoken to, never met, have never and will never know. They WILL go to the ends of the earth to defend another man. Even if it’s just a story of a stranger man they’ve vaguely heard a story about secondhand, watch how many times another man will defend and excuse their actions. There will ALWAYS be men who ALWAYS defend men.

u/Fun-Pattern-8697 2h ago

As if women aren’t any different dumb ass, always yapping about being girls girls lmfao

u/catsarecutiepies 2h ago

Fr, it's crazy that women never support other women

u/Specific_Pear_665 2h ago

They will defend FICTIONAL MEN IN HYPOTHETICAL SCENARIOS before they agree with a woman.

I'm not even joking, you can make up a story about a gas station working being a total POS to you, when you've done truly nothing wrong, and they'll defend the fake employee!

I think he grabbed her drink and that's why she reached for it. She picked up a different bottle that was in front of him before he threw her down the last time.

u/GoodgirlTiffany 5h ago

"I think" equals proof.

u/Willing-Egg8423 4h ago

Who what glass why drink what hers when first? It didn’t even cross my mind to consider the damn drinks, I was too busy watching a woman get terrorized and beat up.

he's clearly moving it to his face to drink it when she tries to grab it.

I agree with everything else but what makes you think it was her drink? It looks like he picked it up to take a sip it’s going towards his mouth. And she also has another drink closer to her than the one he picked up. Unless she has 2 full drinks he picked up his.

u/PressureOk69 3h ago edited 3h ago

Yeah this is what I see:

- He grabs a drink on the table, the drink is to his immediate right. There is another bottle on his left. She has a drink in front of her and maybe a second drink to her right (maybe a vape)

- She interrupts the arc of the drink being brought up to his mouth and yanks it, then he throws the drink on her.

- She gets up and lunges at him, he shoves her to the ground. Then kicks her.

- He grabs his things to leave. She grabs the empty bottle in front of him as a weapon

- He steps towards her, shoves her to the ground and leaves.

To be honest, it looks like she initiates. He's still an asshole for using overwhelming force on her but also pretty silly of her to instigate in the first place and then lunge at him.

I'm always a little wary of the "he's angry because I rejected him" rhetoric bc that always feels like a low effort excuse. To me it looks like he's angry because she yanked his drink.

u/EmptyBasket 2h ago

Yup, nothing looks like rejection to me. It all looks like retaliation to stuff she does. Sure, he retaliates with too much force, but this just looks like a ragebait title

u/JimboTCB 1h ago edited 59m ago

This definitely looks like an "everyone sucks here" situation. I don't know what caused them to go off in the first place, and throwing a drink seems like a wild overreaction to someone grabbing at it, but then they both keep escalating from there until he knocks her down. But if your reaction to someone putting you on your ass and walking away is to immediately grab for a bottle and re-escalate the situation I'm not exactly going to fault them for putting you back on your ass even more forcefully.

Also if your reaction to someone throwing a drink at you is to immediately get up in their face ready to throw hands when they look to have have six inches and 100 pounds on you, you've kind of got to expect that they're going to respond, and you're not going to come out on top of that.

Yeah this is literally exactly what happens in the video.

But man, this thread is fantastic. One carefully chosen reddit title from some bot/spam account with a hidden profile and 1.5 million karma in like 6 months, and people completely lose their minds - refusing to believe what they can plainly see with their own eyes.

Absolute top tier rage bait, no notes. I mean you could literally put this in the “top examples” section for the Wikipedia on “Rage Baiting”.

u/I3roMagnon 9m ago

It’s a lot of deeply insecure manchildren that think things would be better if they could still own and financially dominate women into being with them. In reality, the solution is to just NOT be a raging piece of shit.

This type is also typically white supremacist, transphobic, homophobic, faux-religious, and a big fan of billionaires destroying the world.

u/apexdryad 5h ago edited 5h ago

Always gotta be guys whining on that. Like, if it's not you.. move along? Keep on being not trash? I see men wailing and saying all women are golddigging blah blah but I don't feel like I need to step in and go nuh uh, not all women. Partly because I'd probably get doxxed and attacked online or something but mostly because.. that isn't me.

Yet every other guy who.. doesn't? beat women has to come along and NOT ALL MEN every single fucking time. Don't y'all know hit dog hollers???

Edit: and a reddit cares report. Sucks you guys have to abuse this because you're sad women won't fuck you.

That’s stupidly inaccurate statement. Some do, most don’t. Kinda like saying “All cars are red”

u/cafeteriastyle 4h ago

I’ll post this as many times as I have to. There is so much data and so many books about this topic, it’s really not up for debate.

World wide, a woman gets killed by a male family member or romantic partner every 10 mins. 137 women per day. Idgaf about feelings, men act on them and the women pay.

80% of people killed worldwide are men (by other men) But just 11% world wide are killed by a romantic partner. 60% of women who are killed by a family member or romantic partner

and the 11% includes men and women actually, so it’s not even that high for women as purpetrators

If you took gender out of this and watched it objectively, you would see that the person on the bottom got out of her chair, and is standing over the seated person, striking him. She started the physical assault.

No one wants to see a woman getting hurt. But if ANYONE strikes someone else first, they are an assailant, regardless of gender... and the victim has the right to defend themselves. Even men deserve not to be hit.

u/jgainit 2h ago

I seen her grab the bottle and my first thought was please hit him with it. Im nkt one for violence but eh.. sometimes karma comes hard

u/aleks9797 5h ago

I don't think he picked it up to throw at her. He moves his head forward like he's about to drink it

u/swift-current0 5h ago

He obviously deserves a jail sentence for this assault, but I think purely from self defence perspective grabbing the bottle when you're not prepared to use it, and then just standing like that instead of moving back was a mistake. That gives the aggressor justification (in his diseased mind) to continue the assault. So either stand your ground for real and use violence, or else don't do anything suggesting you might.

u/rycycling1971 5h ago

Well, I would have broken up over the phone with someone after 2 dates, not in person. Though, from other posts, it appears they run in the same circle, so she was likely trying to do it as nicely as possible to avoid issues later when they saw eachother. Oops.

u/JackieHands 6h ago

Yeah like legally standing idk maybe grabbing the beer was "battery" or some other pseudo assault but the guy had multiple opportunities to deescalate or walk away and every time he assaults here.

And you've got guys on here just saying "equal rights bitch" like it's somehow applicable. Like if she was actively going at him each time idk maybe but this guy is just straight up beating this woman for rejection and the incel police are out in force

u/FiveUpsideDown 5h ago

I haven’t seen the misogynist comments. I don’t know how she can be seen as the aggressor. He threw a drink on her. Then pushed her to the ground twice. She picked up the bottle to defend herself.

I am a 54-year-old man. I have even been slapped during a breakup. Hell, sadly, a woman I broke up with grabbed a knife once. I still didn't hit her. I left. This guy hit her for slapping him after he threw HER drink in his face. I see that he hasn't been charged (other links). I am going to assume the woman doesn't want to press charges to make even more of an enemy out of a dangerous man. It is safest for her to just move on I guess. Apparently he already lost his job and has been banned from a bunch of bars due to this. The dude needs help, to get rid of the man purse (this isn't italy dude) and to move to a new town and start over.

It looks like he originally picked it up to drink it. I think he was trying to be petty and steal her drink and when she was trying to stop him, thats when he got mad and tossed it at her. Since he leans into it like he was gonna drink it originally.

u/Life-Is-A-Bad-Trip 5h ago

Thank you. I was watching the video and seeing her grab the cup from his hand and it makes it seem like she is instigating. Cuz Immediately after keeping the drink away from her he splashes to which she kind of goes in. Makes her look violent. I was hoping there was more context based on the comments.

Knowing it's her drink he's snatching away and she trying to get back changes the entire context.

I mean if that's what has happened. Obviously s comment on the internet isn't hard evidence. But it's the only way it all makes sense.

u/rycycling1971 5h ago

Even if it was his drink, she doesn't deserve it being thrown in her face. ALl this is glossing over the fact that he has been fired and banned from not only this bar, but others. People locally know more about this than us on reddit and that is what has gone down.

u/Life-Is-A-Bad-Trip 5h ago edited 5h ago

Yeah. Definitely douchey to throw the drink. Not denying that. But if it's his drink it's douchey to grab it out his hands too.

All comes down to context and whos beer it was. Because if it was his she comes in with hands after.

Mob mentality and gut response from everyone doesn't mean shit. He gets fired and banned but so much of that could be because she's a girl and making noise about it. I don't trust a lynch mob anymore than I do the ones I read about from 100 years ago.

Context and facts really matter in these situations. When things get physical and escalate so fast who initially escalates matters.

Now would I throw a beer on a chick for taking it out my hand? Nah. Is it douchey? For sure.

But we also can't hear what's being said. If she's trying to break up and he's just saying "okay cool" and she's doing a "put the fucking drink down and look at me" shtick it's easier to understand.

Now I don't think that happened. And I'm not hoping it did.

Just playing devil's advocate to show how we, people hundreds or thousands of miles away on the internet don't have information and getting all pissed and contributing to the situation one way or another in any fashion is about stupid.

We should all try to be better than to give into mob mentalities. Even if it is virtual.

That said if it was her drink and he was escalating and talking shit being controlling then hellyeah, send him to the big house. Let him think the next 5 years on it because that could've killed her if she hit her head.

If the facts show she was out of control and putting hands on first she needs some time away. Little harder with that one though. That beer splash did seem unwarranted. Responding with a slap makes sense. It was a dick move. I guess all comes down to why she grabbing the beer and what she was saying.

Again. Intent matters.

With all that said I don't have a dog in this fight. I don't give a shit in one way or another. Just writing to make myself tired.

u/Maxipaddington 5h ago

Nah, be got rejected (I'm guessing) and I bet he paid for that drink, so he thought "fine I'll drink it then" and then she reached for it back so he freaked out. Loser shit

u/Petrostar 5h ago

It looks like there are two glasses, and that one is closer to him.

u/superpie12 2h ago

Correct. She assaulted him first and then he went well-beyond self defense. Charge her with simple assault, him with assault and menacing.

u/Petrostar 2h ago

They deserve each other.

u/bitt13 5h ago

If they think they found a reason they think a woman didn't behave 100% how they agree she should have - they think they have an excuse as to why she ''deserved it''. The fact that this guy won't even do time and will be out there to do more damage, is the norm. There are more out than in. Hope she's doing ok, she was really thrown about.

u/AlphaH4wk 5h ago

He got a lot of force into that neck shove somehow. It doesn't look like it should have thrown her that far

u/flappingduckz 5h ago

He was obviously in the wrong from the start when he assaulted her with her drink. I see what you mean, but the problem is after he dumps her drink on her, she lunges at him and he obviously pushes her away and then kicks her, not good on his part but can be excused as potential self defense. Afterwards she should just stay away, but then approaches and gets the bottle in her hand upsidedown (obviously how you plan to break it on somebody), which just gives him another excuse to push her.

u/EarthEaterr 5h ago

Looks like he grabbed her drink, to drink it (maybe he paid for it and felt entitled to it after being shut down), she went to grab it, then he dumped it on her. Either way, he is a menace and needs to be dealt with.

u/kaneda_z 5h ago

he was clearly trying to take a drink when she grabbed it

you hope we end up in jail because we have eyes and dont need to lie?

u/GoodgirlTiffany 5h ago

Quite the assumption there

u/BlackSchuck 5h ago

Perhaps she was drunk and being cruel or physical before this video begins, and he then decided to take away her drink and cool her off.

u/rycycling1971 3h ago

Sure, only if you don't actually google Louisville man woman date etc. There is other reporting on this . Bus sure, you just go make shit totally up.

u/SleightOfHand21 5h ago
  1. The bottle she picked up was empty.

  2. There is clearly her own glass filled right in front of her.

  3. She picks up the bottle as a weapon then decides to probably not get an assault with a weapon charge.

  4. How are you people so confident in assumptions.

u/Dry_Nefariousness426 5h ago

Aren’t men lovely?

u/immutable_truth 5h ago

Not gonna bother looking at the (most assuredly downvoted) comments you’re referring to, but it doesn’t even matter. She could have fucking punched him for no reason and his reaction still would’ve been absolutely over the top. Guys a fucking coward and I guarantee he’s never attempted that type of force on another guy his size.

u/skeleton-is-alive 5h ago

I don’t know why that detail matters here either way

u/HereWeFuckingGooo 4h ago

WTF is wrong with you people?

What's wrong is that this is an out of context clip presented with minimal information. People should question it's validity. This isn't a court of law, this is social media where people lie for attention and views. There are heaps of clips where the woman has been the instigator or perpetrator and the clip is presented in a way that villainises the man because people are more willing to believe the woman is the victim. Being cynical doesn't mean you're advocating for violence against women.

Whatever the circumstances, he shouldn't have pushed or kicked her and she shouldn't have grabbed a bottle and fronted up to him. She didn't deserve any of this but she could have easily avoided the second push.

u/rycycling1971 3h ago

Use Google. This is just one of many posts and articles about this.

u/HereWeFuckingGooo 19m ago

Doesn't matter. None of that information is in this post... so that's why people react the way they do... to this post.

u/JENKE18 4h ago

Tbf she would have been completely justified in smashing that bottle on his head…

u/AIBotnmbr99 4h ago

It’s more likely his. He’s clearly going to take a sip. She has a glass in front of her. No idea how you can say this with such certainty.

Men have a right to self defense. Women shouldn’t try to fight men. Look how it goes. Keep your hands to yourself.

u/ThereWanderer 3h ago

Self defense? She did not attack him. Even if she was going to take his drink away that is not violence on him and it wouldn't be self defense for him

If I take your lollipop you're not defending yourself by kicking my head, you're just kicking my head.

u/AIBotnmbr99 2h ago

He didn’t kick her head for trying to take his lollipop. He poured liquid on her for her aggressively trying to take it, which is proportional. You’re acting like she didnt lunge at him with both hands before he actually defended himself.

Notice how you have to downplay everything she did?

Come on.

There are a lot of misogynistic chuds on Reddit. They used to be concentrated to a small number of anti-woman subreddits, but those subs got banned so now they wander about the rest of "normal" reddit and defend DV and say some really dark shit.

u/Time_Librarian6750 4h ago

Only thing she did wrong was not swing the bottle as she presented it as a weapon. Thats what you do before dude actually gets violent.

u/-Gemstoned 4h ago

The sad thing is if she did swing that bottle at him, after being assaulted everyone would have decided it was her fault.

u/pigeon-check 4h ago edited 4h ago

You can see her drink right below his, he clearly was going to drink until she tried to grab it, then she went after him even tho he's clearly going to leave. was he an ass? Yes, was she making it worse? Also yes

u/alwrit 4h ago

It doesn't matter whose drink it was. Throwing it like that is, at best, extremely low class.

That said I hope in the future she develops a sense of self-preservation. The guy clearly shows himself to be physically abusive the way he grabs the drink and throws it at her. He's very obviously much bigger than her. Lunging at him is not fucking smart. She does it twice and he just easily knocks her down, violently, both times. She almost hits her fucking head on one of the benches the second time and that was with a lot of force.

For fucks sake don't get yourself killed.

u/ThereWanderer 3h ago

Seriously. And she goes there to provoke him again with a weapon she can't even operate. She was lucky she didn't bang her head on the table when he pushed her.
It did work out in the end, but damn.

Thank you for the context. I thought she was trying to stop him from drinking his own drink, in which case I would have said he let her off easy lol.

If that's her drink tho, yeah the guy is a piece of shit

u/ThereWanderer 3h ago

Let her off easy??

Taking away your lollipop isn't a reason for you to throw me across the floor twice and kick me when I'm down?

u/Alive_Drag1947 1h ago edited 1h ago

We are not the same. You ever take my own drink out of my hand, you'll be lucky to live through it...

You know all this how????

u/mnttu 4h ago

That explains the beginning

u/Element174 4h ago

Yeah, no. And you can make whatever claim you want, but considering I have a long history of calling out misogynistic incels and telling them their only as pathetic as their femcel counterparts, I don't really give two shits what scenario someone makes up.

He clearly goes to take a sip of the glass closest to him, probably a water to go with his beer, she grabs it, and even if it was her beer, grabbing it is weird. You're breaking up with someone but you're deciding to escalate the situation when you should be looking to just leave. She goes for a slap, and gets pushed. Now, the kick is crazy... except we don't have the audio so for all we know she threatens him. What we do see is him grab his shit to leave, LEAVE, and her get up and grab a bottle instead of letting him walk away(Which considering what just happened is pretty fucking stupid even if this actually is 100% him) which she absolutely starts raising up. And to be quite frank, if you're stupid enough to try and walk away from someone with a weapon in hand who just assaulted you, let alone turn your back to them, you're pretty fucking stupid. And of course the only version of the story going around is hers, which you instantly believe.

I don't know, maybe it's the critical thinking skills of watching her keep escalating a situation that she singularly seems to start. Like, hey, the guy didn't have to escalate either, the splash seems pretty fucking petty and pathetic and the kick wholly unnecessary, but acting like there aren't multiple dumb, dangerous, and aggressive actions here on her part as you try and create your own scenario, fucking wild.

u/Ifyourdogcouldtalk 3h ago

Why did she swing at him instead of pressing charges for him throwing the drink? He had already committed battery with throwing the drink. Her swing and picking up the bottle is felony aggravated assault

u/Bitter_Stop2818 3h ago

She wasted a good drink and that's the real crime here.

u/stewiecookie 3h ago

He was about to drink the one he picked up so I don't believe he intended to throw it until she tried to grab it from him. Purely speculating, he was rejected and decided since he paid for it then he would drink it only deciding to throw it once she grabbed it. Not that it's relevant but the grab for the drink set everything off. Simple things cause crazy people to snap.

u/DiscoHirsch 3h ago

I see: 2 Bottles 2Glasses

He takes the glass on his side and moves it towards his face to drink. Them she pushes away his glass

u/Cheshie_D 3h ago

This comment section reminded me why I stay to my niche subs and used to actively be trying to quote using Reddit altogether. Gonna go back to leaving now for sure. The niche art and science subs just aren’t worth it.

u/CouldntBAPoint2184 3h ago

Yo I'm sorry but it looks like he's about to drink that beer before she reaches it. How do you know the entire context of a short video?

I'm not supporting the dude at all, I just don't think anyone is right with who's drink is who's. Once that's confirmed, that'll determine a significant amount of context.

And I just wanna add that, looking really carefully at this video, his first push came from a seated position. I get there's a massive disparity in strength between the sexes but the way she flew back makes me wonder if she might've performed that. The whole thing is sus. That's all I'm saying.

u/Impossible-Magician 3h ago

You’re not wrong, but the advice should be to disengage and look for help/support and not move towards the stronger attacker.

This isn’t about excusing the behaviour, or victim blaming, it’s about minimising the risk of injury when being attacked.

If you read the new article she admits she tried to take his beer to dump it out. You’re stupid and hysterical, quit parroting unfounded rumors you hear from randos on the internet. Before you say I’m defending him, I’m not. The truth matters.

u/jazzmaster105150 3h ago

There was a second full glass more directly in front of her. He reached for the one more towards him. It's pretty easy to see he picked up his glass and she put her hands on him.

u/Live-Application4142 3h ago

Naw, he grabbed her drink to drink it. If you notice he only threw it at her when she tried to grab it. I think he was cutting his losses.

u/Metalman-Exe 1h ago

Then why when he picks up the glass is there still a glass closer to her on the table, are you saying she had two glasses and a beer bottle for herself, logic would indicate him picking the glass closer to him would mean it is his glass as people generally don't place their drinks further away from themselves.

u/SadAd8761 3h ago

Notice how the bottle is empty?

Nah, that was his drink. He poured his beer from the bottle into the glass.

Her drink is the next to the glass.

Still high chance that he's the asshole in this exchange though.

u/OglioVagilio 3h ago

“I never once touched him,” she wrote. “Yes, I did go to dump his beer out after sitting there being berated and called every name in the book, after already 24 hours of being harassed by 6 different accounts every time I’d block a new one.”

u/R3pp3pts0hg 3h ago

I think you forgot the /s

u/Infinite-Condition41 3h ago

No, her glass was just camera side of his. Her glass is still sitting there.

u/ThaEmortalThief 2h ago

Actually, he picks that drink up, which kinda looks like water, and there is still a glass on the table in front of her. He also had a beer bottle there, but it looks like there more than 2 drinks on the table. That was likely his. From the video, it looks like he picks it up to take a drink, and she knocks it trying to stop him. He gets mad and throws it on her.

u/Signal_Bill_6485 2h ago

How do you know whose drink it was though? To me, it appears to be closer to the guy than the girl, which would make me assume that it’s the guy’s drink. And no, I’m not excusing his actions. Just doesn’t seem like there’s anyway to know for sure from the video alone, unless you have some other kind of knowledge of the situation aside from what’s shown in the video.

u/Sigurd-VolsungaX1 2h ago

Very true! There were witnesses saying the same thing. The guy was pissed because she rejected him and he got super pissed and called her a bunch of names and took her drink and she tried to grab it back but he throws it in her face from what ppl have said and saw.

u/CumDwnHrNSayDat 2h ago

She admitted it was his

“I never once touched him,” she wrote. “Yes, I did go to dump his beer out after sitting there being berated and called every name in the book, after already 24 hours of being harassed by 6 different accounts every time I’d block a new one.”

u/Kjufka 2h ago

It was HER drink.

He paid for it.

u/VergaDeVergas 2h ago

I saw a screenshot of her comment on an Instagram post and she said it was his drink.

She said he had been calling her names for an hour or so, so she went to dump out his drink which is when he threw it in her face. She said after he kicked her she realized she wasn’t safe and grabbed the bottle

u/Newaccountforlolzz 2h ago

I mean his actions aren't justifiable but no need to lie about the situation. If your source is 'just trust me bro' then that's clearly not her drink.

u/Efficient-Tutor-6290 2h ago

She says herself in an interview that it was HIS drink. Everything else aside, stop making up shit to fit your narrative.

u/superpie12 2h ago

Incorrect. Two pints right there. She instigated. He went well-overboard and should be arrested, but lets give them both a nice assault charge. His can be aggravated.

u/ChimpMilk 2h ago

im confused, it doesn’t look like he picked up the drink to the throw it.

theres two glasses on the table and he grabs the one closer to him and picks it straight up and then lowers his head to drink the cup when grabs its. Now im not defending the guy but it doesnt look like her drink

u/Different_Bake_611 2h ago

Anyway. Doesn't matter who's drink was who's, you just don't fucking do that?

u/EmptyBasket 2h ago

He went way too far, but I don't think that was her drink as there was another drink standing closer to her

u/hasturofelhalyn 2h ago

Whose is the second, the empty glas on the table? Her second one? She wanted to break up and ordered two drinks to stay longer? He acts as a big AH for kicking her, no doubt but he tries to drink when she grabs his arm.

u/training_for_saturn 2h ago

He clearly picked it up to drink it, she grabbed it, then he threw it. He's clearly trash, why make things up?

u/4insurancepurposes 2h ago

He’s a piece of shit, sure. But you hope people end up in jail for commenting on a Reddit video? Lol

u/Vermino 1h ago edited 1h ago

As with anything on the internet - you can't just believe the narrative people push. How many stories turned out not to be true?
At this point, I'm not sure what to believe of who's at fault.
1) She starts by grabbing the glass, which seems to be pretty naturally positioned for him. In domestic violence, the first agressor is the person who's wrong. If that's his glass, she's wrong. If that's her glass, he's wrong. That beer gets thrown in her face - again, either as a reaction, or as an initiation of violence, depending on the perspective.
2) She gets up to try to slap him, clearly agression again, he pushes her off.
3) He kicks her when she's down - clearly agresssion initiated by him.
4) He walks away to get his things, she gets up and equips herself with a bottle and goes after him - again, clearly agression. To which he pushes her off to get her out of range. This time he does walk off.

So scenario 1 : He's in the wrong, and he initiated violence by throwing her beer at her - which doesn't seem like a very manly attack pattern. Despite his initial agression, then only kicks her once, despite having plenty of other opportunities.
Scenario 2 : She's in the wrong, as she wanted to grab his beer, which he then threw in her face - which made her escalate the violence to physically trying to slap him, to even gettinig up in her rage and getting a bottle. Even though she gets pushed away several times, she consistently closes the gap to continue the altercation.

At this point, scenario 2 looks far more likely.
But again, we don't know what was said, or who the beer was from.
So I'll withhold my final judgement untill more unbiased information comes out.

u/the_other_shoe 1h ago

tbh we don't know whose drink it was. Could have been his, maybe it was hers? Does it really matter? What he did was gross and criminal.

u/PsychologicalAd5918 1h ago

everyone that asks for context deserves jail? crazy take

u/Timely_Spinach_7479 1h ago

It’s Reddit. Any violence against women gets celebrated.

u/Pagan_Metal666 34m ago

What exactly should they be jailed for?

u/NormalContribution47 28m ago

HOW are people supposed to know that based of this reddit post?! there is no explanation, and on the video it seemed it's his drink, since it also is closer to him. and the quality ist so bad, you could argue that the thing to her riight looks like a glass as well.

It also looks like he was about to drink from it, because he pulls it towards himself.

don't get me wrong here. what he did was wrong. there is no reason for violence! but don't expect people to know everything.

u/funelite 26m ago

How do you come to the conclusion it was her drink? I see two drinks on the table, he takes the close one to him and clearly attempts to drink it and not to throw it at her.

u/Agreeable-Emu4033 23m ago

Yes so she started it.

u/don_dripac 18m ago

You can very clearly see that it isn't her drink, it's closer to him. Hers is in front of her

u/Low-Ad3972 13m ago

She’s the aggressor throughout.

u/Angry_Sparrow 11m ago

Misogynists love videos of women getting hit by men. That’s what you’re seeing. They come out of the woodwork in the comments section of videos like this.

u/soidvaas 9m ago

It’s clear that he’s bringing the drink to his lips though. The rest I agree with you on.
