I agree with everything else but what makes you think it was her drink? It looks like he picked it up to take a sip it’s going towards his mouth. And she also has another drink closer to her than the one he picked up. Unless she has 2 full drinks he picked up his.

Yeah this is what I see:

- He grabs a drink on the table, the drink is to his immediate right. There is another bottle on his left. She has a drink in front of her and maybe a second drink to her right (maybe a vape)

- She interrupts the arc of the drink being brought up to his mouth and yanks it, then he throws the drink on her.

- She gets up and lunges at him, he shoves her to the ground. Then kicks her.

- He grabs his things to leave. She grabs the empty bottle in front of him as a weapon

- He steps towards her, shoves her to the ground and leaves.

To be honest, it looks like she initiates. He's still an asshole for using overwhelming force on her but also pretty silly of her to instigate in the first place and then lunge at him.

I'm always a little wary of the "he's angry because I rejected him" rhetoric bc that always feels like a low effort excuse. To me it looks like he's angry because she yanked his drink.

This definitely looks like an "everyone sucks here" situation. I don't know what caused them to go off in the first place, and throwing a drink seems like a wild overreaction to someone grabbing at it, but then they both keep escalating from there until he knocks her down. But if your reaction to someone putting you on your ass and walking away is to immediately grab for a bottle and re-escalate the situation I'm not exactly going to fault them for putting you back on your ass even more forcefully.

Also if your reaction to someone throwing a drink at you is to immediately get up in their face ready to throw hands when they look to have have six inches and 100 pounds on you, you've kind of got to expect that they're going to respond, and you're not going to come out on top of that.

They have two glasses of water on the table. It is summer, and hot as hell in Louisville. Where I am, in Baltimore, if you are sitting outside, they bring you water as soon as you sit down. I also saw more of this on IG in what seems to be the original posts of this from people in Louisville discussing this with much more info, including from people who sound like. They know them both, or one of them, or the bar. The consensus there was that the guy is known to be an asshole and that something is off about him, prior to this. It sounded like she gave him a chance but kept picking up on weird shit about him. (as if the European man-purse wasnt' sign enough! Kidding... they are completely fine, but in Louisville?)
