New Slide. New Optic.
Pretty happy with this new slide and 509T. I wasn't expecting the 509t to be so nice but it's pretty great!

I know this is a mix but the bottom are S&W and one is not.
So Long story short Grandfather passed in April. I went down bought some guns to help my grandmother on expenses. After going down this labor day weekend. My grandmother told me she found more guns. What are some of these. I know some are Beretta (some say Brazil). I also got some S&W revolvers too. Can anyone help me identify some of these? Also what are the value on these.

My great grandfather, was a policeman in Suffern, NY in the 1920s and 30s. He died in the line of duty. For a long time we believed that my grandparents destroyed or got rid of his service weapons because they were very against guns.
As it turns out, my uncle kept at least two of them safe and recently gave them to me.
I’m curious if anyone knows anything about either of these models:
Harrington & Richardson .32 S&W CTGE
Smith & Wesson .38(?) (the one with no trigger guard) Model 2?
Both seem to be in pretty great condition for being 100 years old.

What size screw would I use to retrieve it? It snapped in half I need to take it out so I can put a new one in anyone ever run into this problem? I don’t know how this happened. I was at the range and I noticed it was loose, but it looks like it could be due to the recoil, perhaps?

Hey! I am looking at changing my daily carry. I currently carry a Ruger max 9 or a keltec p32. I'm looking at swapping out my Ruger max 9 I very much dislike it but have had it since 2021 and it's been dead reliable. Just a miserable shooter. I recently went to my local range and rented several guns and shot the shield plus a lot better than any of the other micros, so think going for it.
Now my question is do I go for the regular optics ready model or do I opt for the ported 3.1 performance center. I can afford either one but don't know if they shoot better enough to justify the extra few dollars, so any insight appreciated. Also my Dickie heavy belt is about wore out. What's y'all's go to daily carry belt!

Between a 5” standard polymer frame 2.0 and the metal hd 5” (non competitor) is there a difference in slide assemblies? In performance, or weight or anything besides looks and holster fit

*Pistol depicted is not the actual pistol. Just an image I pulled when googling. It is seemingly identical though*
Hi all,
I've come across a 5906 Target Champion, 6" barrel, not the PPC version, for sale.
Very good condition, complete in Smith & Wesson Performance Center carrying case.
I have a chance to buy it but want to know what the value is currently. I've mostly seen the 5" and PPC version sell for roughly 2000$.
Thank you kindly.

So I recently bought a CSX E-Series and brought it to my friend’s range to shoot. After I almost emptied a mag, I reloaded with one in the chamber, only for the first bullet in the mag to pop out of the casing. It’s just some Fiocchi 9mm and maybe they’re not good quality ammo? Or is it something with the gun itself?
Edit: All answers point to ammo. Just wanted to make sure my gun didn’t do it lol

I’ve have had 3 light primer strikes in under 500 rounds (different brand boxes), I own this and a 43x and it’s never had a LPS , I also had some FTF at first but fists my grip assuming it’s that now only my wife gets FTF so ima assume it’s user error , but for the LPS what should I do , is 3 LPS in under 500 for concern?

Are a m2.0 full size M&P PC sear and PC sear spring safe to use in Shield 1.0? Make a noticeable difference with no other changes?
I’m trying to make it better without spending nearly $200 on an Apex kit. I found these parts for a screaming deal.

Just a post of my experience with my Metal HD so far. Overall the gun shoots incredibly well with the extra weight versus my polymer carry comp and a 5” polymer my buddy has. Would definitely say it was worth it, and if you’re looking for something full sized with the M&P ergos this would be my recommendation.
Put an OSight C on it to test out (got it for $115 on 4th of July sale), and so far after about 500 rounds it’s been solid. Held zero and hasn’t given me any issues, I think it’s a winner for the price point and features.
I had the Olight laying around and figured why not, might upgrade to a TLR-1 or X300 down the line when this one goes out but I’m not too worried about it.
Overall such a fun gun to shoot, haven’t seen any weird accuracy issues like older M&Ps so I don’t really plan to put an Apex barrel into it. I’m planning to put about 1k rounds through it before I decide whether an overwatch or apex trigger is worth installing. My carry comp’s trigger has really improved since I got it and out about 1500 rounds through it, so time will tell.
Also if you’re in doubt about mischief machine’s backstraps, it’s a game changer if you have larger hands. I’m 6’8 with 3XL hands and the ultra competition backstrap gives my support hand the real estate it needs for a solid purchase over the OEM large backstrap

Can someone please tell me where I can get a set of these grips for my Model 27? I’ve spend so long online looking, I’ve gone to stores, and I’ve emailed S&W to no avail. I’m not a fan of the ones that are on it, so if someone is open to a trade that will work for me. The one with the blue background is what I have, and I want the ones pictured on the Google images search. Thanks

***2nd edit, Got the round out. Had to have my wife pry it out of the extractor while I held the slide back. Gun came apart fine after that. Recoil spring assembly looks fine. Nothing broken. Not sure why this happened. Will got back to putting it through it paces and see if it was just a break-in issue. Thanks for the help!***
Okay guys help me out. This happened yesterday while my wife was shooting her new bodyguard 2.0. Only had about 50 or 60 rounds through it at this point. But there's a live round stuck in a chamber. The slide will absolutely not budge is impossible to pull back. Part of The Recoil spring guide is sticking out of the front and the rear of the slide doesn't match up to the frame. Also looks like the extractor is stuck out somewhat. Probably needs a gunsmith but since it's Sunday I figured I'd just post up and see if anybody had had this happen to them and what they did to resolve it.
*** Edit, I got the slide to break loose but the round is like stuck the extractor. It cycles back w the slide but does not flip out. The round won't clear the barrel hood either.***

Hi all per the title, I have a MP2 Compact (4” , 9mm) and wanted to confirm the Holosun SCS MP2 will fit it?
Most of what I am seeing online says yes, but wanted to check before i made a purchase.
Edit: as opposed to only fitting the 5” barrel

Hey, y'all. I just wanted to show someone other than my fiancé my new M&P. I picked up this 4" poly compact to use as a dual role EDC/Competition gun. I've been doing comp shooting from OWB and wanted to try IWB, obviously I needed a new gun to do that. It's nothing special, all stock internals, Defender ST enclosed, TLR7 HLX, and the Carey Concealment Squadron Pro holster.

I live in one of those states and the pinky ext is perfect for the BG 2.0 10 round mags. I also picked up the Shorty from Harry’s holsters. Great minimalist holster comfortable (like it’s not even there) solid clips and love the built in wing.

Since the grip on the 17-4 was far too thick for my liking, I picked up the standard rubber grip Hogue; thanks to its slimmer profile, it is much easier to hold.
However, one of the pins at the bottom is too long and might need to be shortened.
It no longer looks classic, but it does look quite good :)

Finally picked up a Shield X. Love it so far!
