Hi! I have been a console gamer all my life, an I am looking to get a gaming pc for the first time. I needed to some help as I was looking online I was very overwhelmed by the options on Walmart, Amazon, and all the other online markets. The price range I have currently is between $1500-2000. I am looking for a Pc that can comfortably play multi-player games like overwatch, valorant, and cs without any hiccups. I'm not sure where to start looking. I would have gone to a microcenter like a lot of posts I see suggest but sadly the closest one is 300 miles away. So I am looking online for the best pre builts in my range. I would really appreciate any help I can get thank you!

I am brand new to pc building and I need someone’s help on building a gaming pc or buying a prebuilt pc. I live in the US and there is a microcenter and other computer stores like best buy etc. nearby. I have a budget of around 1300, a little more or less is fine, and I am building it to game. Mostly first person shooters (apex, fortnite, r6 etc.) but should obviously be able to handle other games like minecraft. First of all, I’ve heard various different things regarding whether or not prebuilt or part by part is better so I am still trying to decide on that. I already have a monitor, keyboard and mouse, and having a cool case or tons of rgb components isn’t really a priority of mine, I’m mostly just focused on performance for the price. If anyone has any suggestions at all or wants to ask any more clarifying questions that I forgot to answer here that would be a huge help.

Mainly worried about BTF compatibility and if 850w is enough. Also RAM clearance with the AIO?

Anything you'd change? First time spending this much so bit nervous lol.

Hello, I am considering getting a PC and i just wanted to know which PC to buy as theres so many at different prices. I plan to use it for school work and for it to run games well like Overwatch and Fortnite. I'm located in the US and my price limit caps at around $2,500 after tax. Although a bit less than that would be preferred. I don't know if thats good enough to buy a good PC or if it's just better to buy a gaming laptop. Thoughts?

Hi! I'm afraid I've fallen a bit out of the loop on prebuilts. I have a HP Pavillion TG01 that I received as a birthday present four or five years ago to use as a living room PC. It's great for media, streaming, etc, but for gaming, it's fallen behind the times. I gave up on trying when I realized that I can't run the recent Robocop at anything close an acceptable quality (heck, tonight I discovered I can't even play the new Halloween game at anything close to playable FPS / graphics--when I never had any trouble running Friday the 13th).

I'm not a big online multiplayer guy. I vastly prefer single-player experiences. I'm also not a diehard FPS guy. 30-60 FPS is fine by me, generally speaking. Insofar as I know, I can't really upgrade the HP I've got beyond the additional RAM I put into it (I upgraded to 32GB). So... What would be a good, solid prebuilt recommendation that I could hopefully get ten years out of without having to upgrade components? Budget is a factor, so I'd ideally not pay more than $1500 USD, but I'm flexible if performance warrants the price increase.

Looking for something around the 1500 mark but willing to go over. I currently have a legion 5 laptop and am looking to switch to a desktop as I'm struggling to run most games these days. Any recommendations for something that runs smooth at 1440p are appreciated. Specifically looking for something to run tarkov.

Is this a good long-term buy? I have a budget of £2.5 - £2.8k so I'm very open to suggestions on what anyone else thinks. I know someone will suggest buying the components myself, I am open to this as well but I would rather buy something prebuilt and make a couple of changes if needs be.

For over a decade I’ve dreamed of getting a PC and I think (while now isn’t the best time) I saved enough for it. I got $1500 just for a PC, I’m as much of a noob as you get and for that reason I don’t wanna build it myself (and the fear I’ll break it). Where do you guys think I should get it prebuilt? Okay, I've decided as a family to get a PC. But to be realistic, I only I begged for it because I wanted to use it for gaming. But I told my dad that it could also be used for other stuff. So, we've decided to get a PC for the family . But, um, my dad said that like the max he'll pay is like 2K$ but if I could find something that's sub 1k it'd be great . So I'm thinking what should I do? I'm not really into PCs like that. So, I don't know. What do you think would be easier to, like, build a PC or just buy a pre-built? And if it's to buy a pre-built, like, what's the best PC to buy so I won't have to upgrade for a while?

I’m in Australia and I’ve been looking around but there’s so many different websites and PCs that I honestly have no idea which ones are actually good 😭

I mainly want it for gaming, but I’ll also use it for school and normal stuff. I’d like something with 32GB RAM, a good CPU and GPU, and at least 1TB storage if possible.

I’m not really bothered about RGB or how the PC looks, I just want the best performance I can get for $2200.

I’m happy to buy online and have it shipped anywhere in Australia. I’d also prefer a trusted/reputable store.

Im searching for a good all in one pc and im not informed on the topic, and i don t have enough space for a normal pc

I’m interested in doing some gaming occasionally and have never had a pc. I’m looking for a prebuilt because I don’t know anything about pc specs and don’t really want to learn it all. What’s a good basic prebuilt pc that can handle things like minecraft and valorant ? Preferably the cheapest that provides the best baseline value? And that requires little hardware knowledge to setup. Also one that can connect and disconnect from my monitors easily so I can switch between work and personal.

Preferably my budget would be $500-1000 and hoping for the lower of that range. I have no idea what makes a good pc though, so I don’t want to deal with issues or need to replace it in 2 years. But I don’t need anything fancy, i’m looking for basic ability to run a few games well. If it’s on the smaller size that’s nice too.

I do a lot of work outside, and it’s causing eye strain because my pc is only 300 nits. My wife has a MacBook with 1000nits but my work software is not compatible with it. I was literally going to switch just for the screen. Every PC I’m seeing is 300-500, I’m worried 500 won’t be enough, I see what the MacBook screen is like.

My current PC has 8gig ram, basically every new PC will be able to do what I need it to do, the biggest thing I need it a 16” with 1000nits.

I’m very disappointed that PCs seem to be very dim.

I’m looking to upgrade my pc, since as of late it hasn’t been turning on & can’t run the games I have anymore! looking for a good Best Buy prebuilt, specifically one that can last me a long time so I’m trying to do a max 2,000 dollar budget. Has to be Best Buy because I’m using my credit card. I would like to be able to run games from Minecraft to Resident evil, marvel rivals, and some other graphics dependent games like Detroit become human or ark.
