I have rebuilt my PS5 database, and reinstalled the Anniversary edition, and still no creations want to work, any idea?

So I just finished the wolf skull cave mission and as I'm leaving the blue palace a small red dot caught my attention. Turns out it's a random health potion I don't know if this is super well documented I didn't look it up. Just found it cool. Not much else to say about it I picked it up and it's a completely normal potion but I won't complain.

I’m playing Skyrim and I’m doing the dawnguard quest (vampire side). I think it’s buggy because I can’t get to the undercroft of volkihar castle to get to Valerica’s laboratory. Could it be the mods in my list? Can someone please help me and explain

In every other save its fine, I know the creep cluster is always magically floating just above the soil and have no problem harvesting it with other characters, but for some reason my Altmer just cannot see the floating roots.

I don't have any mods, although the latest update is adding a lot of creation club, so idk if that might have messed me up somehow?

I'm just a mage trying to fund research with the classic trio, I need my Creep Cluster! Please help

I've never been into RPG, but decided to try this game out. And it turned out to be the best game I have ever played so far. I got strange sad feelings while standing on the mountain after Alduin's death, realizing that was ithe end of this wonderful story

I installed a mod that gave items that boost the damage of all bound weapons a long time ago. I rarely use them because I prefer stealth builds, making it difficult to gain conjuration experience when casting the spells. I disabled the mod so my auto-harvest mod would stop picking up the items the mod places around the smithy in Windhelm, but have found that even with brand new characters and the mod uninstalled, the items still spawn in for reasons unknown. Given how rarely I use it I could delete the mod from vortex, but that still wouldn't explain how an completely inactive mod is still making its presence felt in the game. If anyone has an explanation it'd be much appreciated, as the unknown variable is likely to drive me up the wall without some resolution. ⬇️

ETA: Just found out this is also happening with the two disabled diamond smithing mods I've also disabled. The items from the mods are still appearing in item lists when using the help command.

Self-explanatory title. The game no longer launches after a crash. This exact issue happened on a separate ps5 to this one so is not an issue with my device specifically. Assumed the crash was due to a mod but am unable to launch the game again to test.

I have a serious gripe with the mod lists of Skyrim, and I want to preface it with the understanding that I respect anyone who makes a mod list of all different types and then distributes it for other people to enjoy because I could never. I don't have the patience; I find it super tedious, and I certainly don't have the time.

My gripe is just how hard it is to find a list that I enjoy from what seems like an unlimited choice of options.

Graphics are pretty important for a game made in 2011, and most lists have good visuals, but Lorerim and Nolvus seem a cut above the rest. I know a lot of people recommend Gates of Sovengarde, but when I tried it, probably last year, I found the graphics an ugly downgrade compared to other lists.

The game is about having fun. I don't finish a mentally demanding job to come home and be mentally drained by min-maxing every bit of the game. This is where Lorerim, probably my favourite list, falls down the most. I'm given this stunning and carefully crafted version of Skyrim where everything appears polished; the only snag is that for all the RP potential, playing off-meta, like a Nord mage, is just setting yourself up for failure. It honestly would be perfect to me if it wasn't so gruelling.

When I talk about balance and polish, I don't necessarily mean against enemies, but in the game. So many mod lists are just full of random shit. Ebony gear available off the bat, provided you have the ebony ingots. Sometimes not even that. Here's a world-destroying weapon or outfit for some leather and zero perk investment. I get it, people want the option to bypass the grind, but just console commands to full-spec smithing or add the item?

Of the lists I've played, Living Skyrim 4 was probably my favourite, but it feels quite dated now. I'm really looking forward to trying LS5. Lorerim would be second; I just really dislike how punitive it is and the respawn mechanic, despite knowing the reason for its implementation.

As I said, I respect the mod list makers, and I know no list is perfect except your own, but I had to have that rant. I get that a lot of people will probably call me out for being ungrateful or just too lazy to do it myself, and if that's all you intend to do, we can agree to disagree. I can't be arsed to argue over it.

TLDR - There isn't a single list I've found that truly has the below, and it saddens me;

• Exceptional graphics, by Skyrim's standard.
• Casually fun to play.
• Well-Balanced or polished levelling and crafting.
• Carefully curated immersion and lore-friendliness.

Work has been crazy stressful over the last few months. We merged with another company and the workload has doubled.

A few weeks ago I was sent a video of a guy dubbing drums over Secunda by Jeremy Soule and it just hit me right in the nervous system, calmed my shit so fast. I realised that I haven't picked up this game for a long ass time due to life and moves, so right then and there booked time off to start a new save.

Two days in and I'm already relaxed as hell. I'll play for a couple of hours and then I'll go for a walk in the woods nearby my house with the soundtrack in my ears.

Crazy how beautiful this game is, and how I can still play it after 15 years.

The run that I've been trying for over 4 years on and off is at last completed.

Over a hundred hours of lost attempts, and dozens of hours of routing/planning and it's finally over!

I've modded a little here and there. Really, modding was unofficially improved around the end of 2024, so I already had a couple of mods with unique assets already. But now that things are supposedly better I'm interested to know what you guys have found out there. The creations UI on the PS5 is still garbage, so really I'm just being lazy as I don't want to sift through that bs myself lol

This is a character I made in the Gate to Sovngarde, a collection modlist. His name is Laridge 'The Old Man Bosmer', he's a survivalist monk build of some kind. To allow you guys to understand why I made him, I'm typing this out still high.

Laridge was old when he was birthed into the world, he had terrible posture so it looked like he was crouching everywhere he walked. Years later, he was driven from his homeland by the Aldmeri Dominion, a very unfortunate day, but also the day he learned to run and walk by standing himself up by holding a stick. He's been on his own for a while now, traveling all the way to Skyrim.

The rule for me as a player, is that I cannot uncrouch myself in any sort of interaction, be it traveling, talking, or fighting. The only time I can uncrouch is when I unsheathe a quarterstaff. Laridge's only weapons are ofc his quarterstaff, and his fists, and Laridge must only wear armor on his head and arms, he can whatever piece clothing on his chest and legs, but no armor.

Usually I like to get more creative and thoughtful for my Skyrim characters and builds, but Laridge just had to get out to be seen.

they happen really easily on a controller and only info i found was from years ago, fInitialPowerAttackDelay but no controls section even exists in skyrim.ini so im at a loss.

If you side with the Imperials, Maven gains full control of Riften. And doing the Thieves Guild quest restores them to former glory, definitely making her job harder

I genuinely believe with all my heart that Sinmir is the worst man in all of Whiterun.

Nazeem is a smug, arrogant prick. I'm not disputing that, but at least he has a life. He runs his own business, owns property, and he is married. If nothing else, he is a functioning and actively contributing member of Whiterun's society. Sinmir is just a fucking dork that LARPs as a tough guy. He has no job, no home, no wife, no responsibilities, and no accomplishments. This absolute bum spends his entire day and night inside the Bannered Mare, talking shit about the guards and the security of Whiterun.

Brother, you are sitting in a tavern wearing FULL IRON ARMOUR while other people do the job you pretend to know anything about. What could you possibly be preparing for? Mikael getting out of hand?

What does Sinmir actually do for Whiterun? The city itself is surrounded by threats. The tundra is littered with bandit dens, giant camps, and all kinds of dangerous creatures. You are effectively in mortal danger as soon as you step out of the gates. Is he joining the city guard? No. Is he out there patrolling the roads? No. Is he clearing out those bandits? No. Is he protecting the smaller settlements? No.

Whiterun is already stretched thin dealing with a civil war and dragon attacks, yet Sinmir is too busy aura farming in front of civilians to lift a finger. God forbid he actually takes that FULL IRON ARMOUR outside, gets his hands dirty, and backs up all the shit he talks from the safety and comfort of the Bannered Mare.

Now, let's say I want to give him some grace and believe he just wants to stay in Whiterun so he can be on hand should anything happen. Well, he had the perfect opportunity to prove it.

A dragon attacks very near Whiterun at the Western Watchtower, and the whole city mobilises in response. Irileth answers the call, the city guard rushes out to defend the people, and even a newcomer who has been in Whiterun for all of four minutes steps up to fight. So, when the moment to protect the Whiterun finally arrives, does the mighty Sinmir leap to its defence as he should?

No.

He stays his ass inside the Bannered Mare in his FULL IRON ARMOUR and lets the real warriors get it done, then promptly returns to shitting on the security and pretending to be some hardened veteran.

He isn't just a fraud and a coward, but a useless fucking bum whose life serves zero purpose to Whiterun or Skyrim at large. Nazeem is annoying, but Sinmir is just a loser of the worst kind, and he deserves to be despised above and beyond anyone else in Whiterun.

After the recent update, everytime I start the game, the anniversary content is missing and I need to redownload every single time.

I play with wabbajack modlists.

When I try to install the modlists, it says anniversary content missing.when I play the game from steam , I don't see any of the content (checking for backpacks in Riverwood trader).

Any solutions?

I am extreamly afraid of spiders. I know that they are mostly located in caves so therfore I won’t really go in a cave if I don’t have to. The thing I am really scared of is the spiders that attack from the forest when you are walking on roads. What places has the most spiders coming out of the woods?
