Honestly the dragonbone bow to me is the ugliest and most underwhelming bow in the whole game design wise. You would think that it would have a more imposing, or cooler things about it, but no. It's just a hunting bow with toothpicks in the front that make it look even worse.

How has Skyrim amazed you or did you pull off a similar stunt killing a high level mob at a low level?

So basically like I said... Yeah I don't know what I'm doing but I'm alive! I was at Shearpoint after clearing Valtheim towers and I went exploring because I knew that the dragon was there. I heard music so I went to the wall and boom out comes a... What is that? Krosis? What's a Krosis? Fireball after fireball!

But luckily I had a hunting bow of arcing from the towers and a storm battle-axe for Lydia... Somehow... With a lot of restoration: perfectly valid school of magic, I survived and now I have a mask.

I did a thing! I had no idea what happened or that he was level 50. I've gone to Shearpoint before but always missed that. Now I see why.

I had the blessing of Arkay

I'm a Breton

I had novice restoration robes looted from the halted stream camp

I had Lydia with a sparky battle-axe

I had a sparky bow

Lesser wards and heals

Potions of magicka and healing but not enough

Places to hide

Luck lots of luck.

I was extremely late to this game, I play very off an on and for fun but this was a wow moment. I was thinking why was he so strong? And then... How did I win? Arrows !

I fell into the sightless pit once while being under leveled. It was fun but horrible and very traumatizing from the chaurus. I was introduced to the Falmer through the sightless pit where I fell in unexpectedly. Good times. Now as a restoration wizard build I'll have to go to lighthouse which is also... A trip.

I made her based on Ava Starr from the MCU but I wanna play her as a head-on dual axe build. What kinda backstories come to mind for you when you imagine who she is and how she got to Skyrim?

Ah, look, I'm cognisant that recent updates have wrecked player’s saves, games, days, so my little quibble is really a self-own on how neat and orderly I need Skyrim to be. I mean, I actually like a lot of the Weapon and Apparel art, I like displaying it as art (and conquest too).

I am extreamly afraid of spiders. I know that they are mostly located in caves so therfore I won’t really go in a cave if I don’t have to. The thing I am really scared of is the spiders that attack from the forest when you are walking on roads. What places has the most spiders coming out of the woods?

I have to say I'm more of a fan of the darker, flowing water than I am the more calmer looking super reflective waters. it looks a little too.. Tropical for Skyrim.

(also the reflections don't seem to match the FoV very well?)

So I’m not bashing the auto save it’s mostly me. But is there any way to change the auto save? I’m new to the game Barley broke 80 hours and there have been times where I would do 20 minutes of gameplay to die and repeat it. It’s so frustrating and I’ve logged off like 2 times at least lol. Why is it the auto save only saves when you travel or not even a checkpoint?

Sigh literally right now explored a whole cave and additional areas just to die and lose that 20 minutes of progress. Literally speed running the cave now not caring about it lmao

Edit: yeah the habit of quick saving is crazy. Sometimes I be playing and lose track of time of my last auto save. I love the game I’m so interested in I forget to quick save when it’s been like 30 minutes

Trying to do a run where i'm thane of all holds, a dragon attacked rifen fishery forever ago and wujeeta died, now I cant become thane of riften 😭 why is she not marked essential if she is the only way to be able to be thane??? I saved over that session so long ago so theres no going back to when she was alive 😫 just frustrated with that riften and winter hold was my last set i needed. At least I can still buy honeyside to buy all the hpuses but its real bummer :/ on Xbox so I dont think i can use any commands to bring her back either

Addition: did side with imperials and do civil war Quest, but in order to be thane of riften it seems you have to help with shutting down the skooma trade which requires wujeeta :(

This is a character I made in the Gate to Sovngarde, a collection modlist. His name is Laridge 'The Old Man Bosmer', he's a survivalist monk build of some kind. To allow you guys to understand why I made him, I'm typing this out still high.

Laridge was old when he was birthed into the world, he had terrible posture so it looked like he was crouching everywhere he walked. Years later, he was driven from his homeland by the Aldmeri Dominion, a very unfortunate day, but also the day he learned to run and walk by standing himself up by holding a stick. He's been on his own for a while now, traveling all the way to Skyrim.

The rule for me as a player, is that I cannot uncrouch myself in any sort of interaction, be it traveling, talking, or fighting. The only time I can uncrouch is when I unsheathe a quarterstaff. Laridge's only weapons are ofc his quarterstaff, and his fists, and Laridge must only wear armor on his head and arms, he can whatever piece clothing on his chest and legs, but no armor.

Usually I like to get more creative and thoughtful for my Skyrim characters and builds, but Laridge just had to get out to be seen.

they happen really easily on a controller and only info i found was from years ago, fInitialPowerAttackDelay but no controls section even exists in skyrim.ini so im at a loss.

So I'm asking for someone else's game so I can't check things myself but they have it, they can see it in menus but it doesn't appear in the misc section of the forge. They have a small following and I'm in the discord is there any advice I can give them to troubleshoot?

I know how to do it, I’ve watched videos. But every time I do it it only works a few times, only adding 1% to my alchemy gear every time before after about 3 times of doing it, it’s just stops working and won’t go up anymore. I don’t have any mods downloaded and it’s on OG Skyrim. I’m level 80 enchanting but only level 19 alchemy. I don’t want to make my character OP I just want a little bit better enchantments, because even though I fully leveled my enchanting it hardly makes my armor any stronger.

After Kodlak's funeral the blacksmith fixed the axe and we decided to all travel to the tomb together.

Vilkas, the one who is supposed to be the smartest one kept getting lost running through the mountains south of Dawnstar.

It was so ridiculous I abandoned them and made my way to the tomb without them.

Anyways I defeated their fragile ghost and now they call me harbinger. They really are fools. I have no desire to lead these people.

I am finding myself contemplating how long it takes for the masters to learn new shouts. I imagine months at minimum, potentially much longer, up to decades for some of the more complex ones.

Imagine being a greybeard spending your entire life to learn maybe a spattering of words, and along comes this individual who does in a few minutes what it takes you years to master, and then just tosses around shouts like it ain't no big thing.

Did something happen to cause it, like a video reaching an unrelated community recently that took off for some reason? Or am I just imagining things lol
