I’m from Japan and I absolutely love Poland!
I’m deeply interested in your country's culture and cuisine. So far, I've made żurek using homemade żur, faworki, beetroot zakwas, kapusta kiszona, and nalewki. They all turned out delicious, and I’m completely hooked!
(To be honest, I dream of making bigos too, but simmering it for 3 days is quite a challenge with energy prices in Japan ;) )

Lately, I've been especially obsessed with making pierogi, and my technique for folding the warkoczyk edge is getting better step by step.

So, here's my main point:
There are so many varieties of pierogi fillings, and folding them is just so much fun that if I keep going like this, I might end up making nothing but pierogi!

I'd love to try making other dishes too, so please—tell me your favorite Polish dishes!

I'd be thrilled if you could share when you usually eat them and the special memories tied to them.
I don't just want to cook the food—I want to experience the "taste of Poland" along with the feelings of the people who make and eat it.
(After all, recipes are everywhere, but they rarely mention the emotions behind them.)

To give you an example from Japanese cuisine, here is one of my memories ↓

【Torikawa karaage (Deep-fried chicken skin)】
Crispy fried chicken skin seasoned with salt and spices, coated in potato starch.
It's a fantastic snack with COLD BEER!, but in Japan, it's also a hugely popular treat at festival stalls.

For me, sitting side-by-side with my daughter, enjoying this torikawa karaage while listening to the festival flutes and drums in the background, is a purely happy moment.

I learned about the Winged Hussars through their role during the relief of Vienna, when they helped save Europe from Ottoman expansion. In my country, we are taught that they were highly respected troops in Poland, so I would like to know how you view them in Poland and what they mean to you and to Polish history.

Hey guys :) I’m an incoming student from Ireland and had a question about Elvanse in Poland. I am used to being prescribed through my psychiatrist but I am really overwhelmed about what to do upon arriving in Poland. I have a diagnosis and am currently ongoing treatment. I do understand it is a restricted drug and therefore it is difficult to get a hold of but it has been playing an important part in helping overcome the challenges I face with my ADHD.

What will I have to do after arriving to ensure I can continue the treatment throughout my studies.

Any clinic recommendations in Krakow?

Hello! I hope this is allowed here, I’m getting married next Sunday, we are already planning to do the bread and salt sharing, as well as the water and vodka tradition!

I was wondering if anyone had any other traditions we could so as well?

My husband is Polish/Czech, his last name is Swoboda and I’ve been researching traditions to incorporate in our life together and the start of our family for our children and ourselves, he was never raised with these traditions but we want to embrace them.

Any ideas, suggestions and advice would be recommended for the wedding and beyond that! ❤️

Hi there! My name is Emilio; I’m from Mexico, and I’d like to pursue a master’s degree in Poland.

I’m currently studying Mechatronics Engineering in Mexico and am nearing the end of my program, I have just one year left. After that, I’d like to work in the United States for a couple of years (I’m also a U.S. citizen) to build a solid financial foundation for my master’s studies in Poland.

I’m interested in an Automotive Engineering master’s program in either Warsaw or Wrocław.

I have a couple of questions regarding the social enviorment in Poland:

1- How prevalent is racism in Poland? Considering that I am Mexican...

2- I know Poland is very strict regarding illegal immigrants, but that wouldn't apply to me, right? Obviously, I would arrive legally for my studies, but I admit I’m a bit nervous and worried about facing social rejection.

Maybe I’m overreacting a bit, haha, but I’d really love to go study in Poland because, sadly, the situation in Mexico is quite bad right now and one of mu biggest Dreams is to arrive to Poland to study my master

I don't want a plain, generic box from a chain store.
I found some gorgeous options on Etsy, but shipping takes too long - I need to have the box in my hands by September 15-16 at the latest, because we're flying out right after.
