I won't expand the main list because I think too many links will get the post removed, but feel free to add more stores you love in the comments.

Etsy, RedBubble and other larger host sites are also pretty good for merchandise these days.

Have a lovely day all!

I know there’s a difference between bi and omni but how did you feel that difference within yourself?

Discussion Who is your biggest supporter?

Upvotes

Who do you know is always in your corner? Always beside you? Always watching your back?

Mine is my wife! She is so supportive. I am always scared to discuss things and she makes me feel comfortable and loved. There is a reason I fell in love with her.

Hola.

Coming Out How I realized I was truly omniromantic and omnisexual. NSFW

Upvotes

I'm a 31 year old male who is straight leaning omniromantic and omnisexual (I still use the label bisexual but I feel bi is too umbrella term for me nowadays but I still accept that label, straight leaning biromantic bisexual/straight leaning omniromantic omnisexual). It's a funny story, I kinda knew but this sealed the coffin. Saw what I now know to be a femboy on Twitter/X, with I think was wearing this evil looking smile Gangle from The Amazing Digital Circus mask, lol, I said to myself "hot" person, went about my day, and said to myself, "WHAT ARE THEY?" LOL! Because their bio didn't say "boy" or "femboy" or "girl" or "non-binary" so I actually tried seeing if they had other social media and I think they did and their other profile on another website I think said "femboy" and eventually they added "MALE" or whatever to their Twitter/X profile and I thanked them for that and even they said they were getting too many people asking as well lol, I'd never try to go out my way to bother someone about it, like I don't know if I wanna ask every attractive person their gender but, I try and people are usually polite about it and some like that I wanna talk about certain topics, but for people who don't wanna say, that's fine, but it does feel like an obsessive compulsion to KNOW someone's gender sometimes so this is how I KNOW I'm not pansexual because pansexual people don't care so we don't relate to one another in that regard but we're still very similar to liking all genders. I define romantic attraction and sexual orientation as thoughts that lead to mental romantic fantasy thoughts, butterflies in stomach, blushing, the urge to pursue a relationship, and finally, the action, but the action isn't required, you at least need the urge though I'd say, and these thoughts aren't intrusive, same with sexual orientation, you have thoughts, then arousal, then urge, then action (action again not mandatory but at least the urge without feeling like it's unwanted/intrusive arousal, you approve of it). Maybe other people define relationship attractions and sexual attractions differently, maybe no arousal is needed, maybe it's just emotional for you, but that's how I always saw my attractions, I get the thoughts and urge to date any gender because of their gender and I get thoughts, arousal, and urge to have sex with any gender, again, the sexual action/behavior isn't necessary like I'm an old virgin actually due to bad luck lol (mental and physical health issues) but that's just how I always saw it, if I got turned on by femboys more than PROBABLY 3 times or 10 times or feet than it's an attraction to me I guess but idk where I deicide my sexuality regarding number of times. I've always been into women romantically and sexually and guys mostly sexually kind of romantically and then later down the road non-binary people romantically and sexually but it's mostly focused on women. If you have another definition on how you define romantic and sexual orientation attractions that's fine but I use a repetitive pattern process to decide my romance and sexuality. Also real life situations and porn helped me figure it out even though porn isn't always aligned with people's real life attractions but I'm open to try some things in porn and have.

Coming Out I've figured out my sexuality, but I am still scared to come out to my parents. Any advice?

Upvotes

For context, I'm an Omnisexual+ Almondsexual (I use Almondsexual as a modifier term, since I have the capability to be attracted to all genders I just have a high male preference, which is the exact definition) teen. And, I have recently discovered that. The one misconception is I'm slightly afraid to come out to my parents. They support the LGBTQ community but aren't a part of it, and they are not active in it, and usually when I change certain things about my personality (or myself in general) they blame it on the internet. I'm afraid they'll do the same with this.

So I'm asking for some advice on how to slowly and comfortably come out. I don't think I'm ready just yet, but when the time comes, I'd like to know what to do/say in the meantime. Thanks!

Discussion It's a great day.

Had my video session with my therapist today. She is awesome! I realize she's just affirming the things that I already know and or say, but it is so nice having someone tell me it's okay to think or be this way. I meet with her every two weeks and every time I do I'm walking on Sunshine because I'm queer! The best part is she's human. She even throws in bad words which makes me feel like I'm in my own environment. LOL

I highly recommend anyone, everyone, to find that person they can open up to!

Stay strong and stay queer.

Questioning Does anyone know the difference of bi, pan, and omni?

Upvotes

Im asexual and demiromantic, and I havent met many people outside of the binary genders. Its hard for me to know who im attracted to without actually meeting someone from that gender, then still it might be im not necessarily attracted to them but maybe could be of someone else of that gender. Any advice on how i can tell who I am?

Questioning Omni & MBTI ?

Upvotes

I heard from a friend that there seem to be a lot of EXXP among omnisexuals, but I'm curious about what it's actually like. Could you please write down your MBTI? (It is okay to write only a portion.)

+If there is a problem, I will delete this post.

Questioning I've identified as bisexual since I was 14, but I think I might be "different" now

Upvotes

Hi all! For context, I'm a 38 year old Transfem girlie. Since I was 14, I discovered that I was attracted to both men and women. However, obviously, my stance on that particular position has a evolved over time and understand that there are more genders than just than just "man" and "woman".

I would say I am attracted to both masculine and feminine traits alike, though I do have preferences, depending on the scenario. I wouldn't necessarily say I'm gender-blind like someone who identifies as pansexual, but I feel like I can form a connection depending on the person, which can lead to me being even more attracted to said person, regardless of the situation.

Omnisexual might be a more detailed thought process on how my mind works. There might be other terms that work also, but not sure. I would say I would define myself as someone who can be "attracted to all genders" but the gender/physical attraction can/does play a role possibly, like I said, depending on the scenario.

"polysexual" or "demi-sexual" are possibilities as well. Any thoughts?

I read a lot of sexuality names (and genders) on here. Omni (duh), demi sexual, nonbinary, etc etc. So what are you? I'm listing all the ones that I have found for me and some that feel as if they may in some way. Spill the teA!

Discussion At what point did you not only come out of the closet, but start to date the same sex in public without fear of stigma? Ever since I (23M) learned I was bi/omni, I'm starting to open myself up to the idea of being with the same sex. But I have yet to take that leap of faith

Advice Late bloomer omni and afraid of dating

Upvotes

Hi everyone!

I’m a late-blooming omni (F40+). I’m a very shy person and an introvert. However, I would love to have a romantic partner.

I’ve only ever had a short, three-month relationship (with a man as I identified as straight) over 20 years ago. I haven’t been on a date in over a decade. As much as I long for love and intimacy, I feel terrified because I have so little experience for my age. The newly discovered omnisexuality adds a lot of uncertainty, as I don’t know if I can act naturally around someone who’s not a man.

I wonder if I should still wait or try dating anyway.

Discussion I wanna make new friends IRL (preferably queer/bi/queer-adjacent allies). Are these places I've listed good locations to start?

Upvotes

As someone who's passionately bisexual, I wanna try to expand my social circle by making friends who are as bi/queer/queer-adjacent as I am

I'm thinking of trying out pride parades, drag shows, comic-cons, and kink spaces. Are these good places to try to make friends?

And if these places aren't viable options for any reason (or it's difficult to make friends there) which places can I go?

Research Looking for partners of plurisexual people

Upvotes

Hello r/omnisexual ! The van Anders Lab is conducting a study to explore the experiences of people who have "plurisexual" partners (e.g., your partner is bisexual, pansexual, and/or is attracted to, partnered with, and/or engaging in sexual or romantic behaviours with people of more than one gender or sex) in Canada and the US.

You may be eligible to participate if you are:

  1. 18 years or older
  2. Able to communicate in English
  3. Able to access the internet using a phone/tablet/computer
  4. Partnered with someone who is plurisexual, bisexual, pansexual, and/or has an identity or orientation that includes being attracted to, partnered with, and/or engaging in sexual or romantic behaviours with people of more than one gender and/or sex.

Interested participants will complete an online screener survey (~25 mins)

Eligible participants will be invited to participate in an online interview (~60 mins) and will receive $40 USD or $55 CAD via gift card. If you meet the eligibility criteria listed above, please send us an email at [pluripartners@queensu.ca](mailto:pluripartners@queensu.ca)

This study has received ethical approval from the Queen's General Research Ethics Board (GREB). If you have any other questions, please feel free to email us at [pluripartners@queensu.ca](mailto:pluripartners@queensu.ca)

I posted this recently. I wondered if someone with computer abilities could make like rainbow or Omni flag colors behind it. If that makes sense. I'm seriously thinking about getting this as a tattoo so I want to show the artist. I could envision splashes but I seriously have zero craftiness so if you have a good idea please let me know. Please delete if this is not allowed! Thanks!
