#RoadTrip ๐Ÿ›ฃ๏ธ Lucknow --> Bengaluru | Street Triple RS

Upvotes

A while back, I had asked here about the best Packers & Movers to transport my Striple from Lucknow to Bangalore.

The overwhelming response was basically: โ€œJust ride it yourself.โ€ So I decided to take a leap of faith and couple of days off from work and actually rode it all the way for 2095 kms.

Route I took -

Lucknow --> Kanpur --> Jhansi --> Sagar --> Nagpur (Day 1)

Nagpur --> Hyderabad on NH44 (Day 2)

Hyderabad --> Bangalore on NH44 (Day 3)

The portion between Jhansi and Nagpur was the worst due to bad roads and heavy rains. The bike held superbly although got extremely dirty. NH44 was good with a bit of construction and rough patches here and there. Apart from it everything was good. T

Cost-

I burned around 14.1k worth of petrol and got an average mileage of 17kmpl (A bit low due to too much traffic in Hyderabad and Bangalore)

In addition to this got my bike cleaned and coolant topup at the service centre for 1k in Hyderabad.

Flight tickets :(

Things which I could have done better -

Taken one more stop between Lucknow and Nagpur (the full stretch was ~900 kms which I believe was too much)

Should have got my bike cleaned at Nagpur. (The radiator was so dirty that there was no proper cooling due to which the bike got overheated in Hyderbad and a bit of the coolant leaked)

An amazing experience as I would describe, a bit tiring though but worth it as there are no scratches, damages on the bike and it is in perfect condition which brings me peace of mind....

#Discussion ๐Ÿ’ฌ How do you switch off your bike's engine?

Upvotes

Recently i was taking my friend as a pillion. When i reached destination, i stopped my bike and switched it off usuing engine kill switch (which i always do). But my friend saw this and suggested me to use key for doing so. When i asked him he reason he didnt tell me anything, just said "it is better way". Then i researched a lot and found mixed videos making me confused more and more.

I request fellow riders to suggest me the best way of switching off my bikes engine.

Note- Images are for refrence only taken from bikewale.

#News ๐Ÿ“ฐ GROUND BREAKING UPDATE from Suzuki!

Hold on to your seats guys! Suzuki now has finally updated their Gixxer 150/250 lineup by adding...get ready for this...new colours!!!! The update everyone was waiting for. Since I am undeserving of jApAnEsE rEliAbILiTy of Suzuki, I will go buy a Bajaj Pulsar instead. I know it will break down and disassemble itself in 1-2 years max since it is Made In India. But I will repent. Hopefully, someday I will be deserving of this reliability and get myself a Suzuki.

I sincerely request you guys to not rush to the showrooms and please dont overcrowd it. Give everyone a chance to grab a piece of history. Be compassionate. Please.

Peace out.

Hi all,

I am planning to sell my Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 (Green Drill) which I bought on 30 May 2024 and I have ridden 9,600 kms on it.

The bike is bone stock with all the services done without miss at authorized service centers and it is a non accidental bike.

The Insurance is also valid till 29 May 2027.

The bike is in Hyderabad.

How much do you think I can sell this bike for?

Also please feel free to DM me your offers if anyone is interested to buy it.

Thanks.

There wasn't anything wrong with this bike, yet, we did not show it enough love. At almost โ‚น2L on-road, this was such a great motorcycle.

#Opinion ๐Ÿ’ญ Why do people on good bikes get so offended when you overtake them?

Upvotes

Is it just me, or do some riders take getting overtaken as a personal insult to their entire identity?
I ride a Honda Unicorn 160. Itโ€™s a reliable commuter, not a track machine, and I have zero interest in street racing anyone. A few times recently, Iโ€™ve overtaken people riding genuinely nice bikes (GT,Speed 400, and RC 390). I wasn't trying to flex or look down on themโ€”I was literally just trying to get somewhere on time and had a clear gap to pass safely.

Without fail, as soon as I pass them, their ego takes over. They immediately rev past me, make weird noises, or cut back in front just to prove a point.

Has anyone else noticed this fragile ego?

#Discussion ๐Ÿ’ฌ Why No Mt-03 , Mt-07 or Mt-09 in Indian Motorcycle market despite showcasing the 3-Cyl Mt-09 at Auto Expo Delhi couple of years back ?

Post image
Upvotes

I am fz16 owner 2014 model (carburettor). Sweet and Built to last ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ. Did one engine overhaul (new bore kit) and 70000+ km on the odo. 12 years now. Still returns a solid 42 kmpl in the middle of this fuel chaos. Have done all the 4 southern states (touring) on this simple carburettor version. Currently on my 3rd set of rubbers. Michelin pilot street 2 . Previous sets were the same pilot street as well. Badass grip.

Am looking for an upgrade (a big capacity motorcycle, not necessarily it should be a 1000cc) but Yamaha had stopped almost every premium category for Indian market. Forget about R2. I was expecting them to bring back the Mt03 (via CBU route) or I thought they might surprise Indian fanbase with an exciting lineup of motorcycles, like how honda did it.

No Nmax for India. No 07 or 09 Mt series. No Tenere or Tracer series for India.

What exactly Yamaha is even thinking ? Wake up Yamaha !!!

#Miscellaneous ๐Ÿ“ƒ [WTS] Triumph Speed 400 2024 | 6,294 km | Bangalore

Thumbnail
gallery
Upvotes

Selling my 2024 Triumph Speed 400. Iโ€™m the first and only owner.

Bike details:

  • 2024 model
  • 6,294 km
  • Single owner
  • Zero accidents
  • Complete service history
  • Well maintained
  • Insurance valid until August 2027
  • Karnataka registered

A reason to consider the 2024 version:

This is the original 398cc Speed 400, with 40 PS and 37.5 Nm.

The current Speed 400 uses a smaller 349cc engine, with 37 PS and 32 Nm. In independent testing, the original 400cc version was also quicker from 0โ€“100 km/h (7.4 sec vs 8.1 sec).

So if you specifically want the original, more powerful Speed 400 rather than the newer 349cc version, this is a low-km example.

Price: โ‚น2,40,000

Slightly negotiable for a genuine buyer after inspection.

The bike can be inspected at a Triumph service centre or by your own mechanic. Service records and other documents are available for verification.

Photos/videos and additional details can be shared over DM.

Location: Bangalore

Private sale. No dealers/brokers, please.

Edited to add asked queries :
Reason for sale : Moving out of country
Original Purchase Invoice amount - on road in Mangalore (KA19) : 2,96,441/-

#Query โ“ Regretting Buying Guerrilla 450. Read Caption.

Thumbnail

Upvotes

I bought my guerrilla in Aug last year. I was quite happy with it in the beginning. But for the past few months I've been feeling i just can't get settled on the bike. I just can't get comfortable on the bike. My max riding time on it has been reducing for the past few months. In the beginning i could do 200+ kms in a single shot & still felt like just starting but now 200 kms in a shot is just not possible. My main concern seems to be shoulder pain (can't find a comfortable enough posture) & stiff suspension. I have tried everything, handlebar risers, new handlebar, new seat (twice), adjusted preload twice (still in testing phase with new settings every week). I exercise & lift weights regularly but it's not helping either. I have also upgraded my riding gear for a more comfort oriented fit but that didn't help either.

Recently I tried my friend's Himalayan 450 & immediately fell in love with how comfortable it was. The leg room, wind protection, basically effortless mile-muncher. But the suspension stood out the most. Didn't like the vibes & how heavy it feels at slower speed.

Haven't ridden the adv390 due to the fear that it will completely ruin the guerrilla for me.๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿฅ€

I have been a hardcore naked/roadster fan boy but i feel an adv would've been a better choice.

Now I'm torn between selling it for Himi450 or Adv390. But I'm not able to make up my mind to spend an additional 1.5-2 lacs on a new bike.

No AI used, so apologies for the grammar & spelling mistakes.

TLDR: getting adv fomo after buying guerrilla. Don't want to spend an additional 1.5-2 lacs replacing it with Himi450/adv390 but can't really enjoy guerrilla either. What to do?

Thinking of getting the AGV K1 S for touring. For those who own one, how is it for comfort, wind noise, ventilation, and long-term quality?

Would you recommend it for long rides, or should I look at something else around the same price?

Bike - Pulsar 135LS

I'm sick and tired of these a"sholes. This is the third time they did this, Indicators, lights everything is zucked.

Wiring, Light control module gone.

This happened again after added -

Red thing is - Chilli powder, crushed camphor in that cloth

Repellent spray.

My only option is to put the Rat Powder here.
