Not sure the exact percentage of the top of my head but depending on the study, women do at least 80% of consumer spending for households. Which means adverting it focused on women. Marketing firms are even majority staffed by women these days.
Thats where you get the “stupid husband because x is fixed by smart wife with y product” advertisement trope.
This could also be applied to the “pink tax” and why women’s products have more competition around features and benefits. Whereas men’s often compete for value.

Quick search found a commercial from last decade from Renesant Bank. The sensible wife got "hubby vision" glasses that allowed her to overlook all the messes like her bumbling husband.
Quick search found a commercial series from Aldi's from 2018 to 2026 with the sensible wife / bumbling husband trope. Features a highly responsible wife treating her goofy, clueless husband like a toddler while shopping. In one of them, she's baby talking to him. In another, she coaxes him out of the car with a beef stick like a puppy.
It's literally one of the most common and enduring tropes in advertising, often called the "Bumbling Husband" or "Incompetent Dad" trope. Advertisers use it heavily because women make up the primary target demographic for household goods and banking services. Making the wife the sensible anchor flatters the consumer.
It isn't just ads. Family Guy, Simpsons, Phil on Modern Family, the dad in the Bernstein Bears. Pretending it doesn't even exist is silly. Come on. It's everywhere and has been for a lifetime.

There's still plenty of them. Don't remember the brand or company but recently there was a whole ad campaign about couples throwing a challenge flag like in football, and I dont remember seeing a single one where the husbands didnt lose the challenge. They were always just the idiot and was wrong every single time and wife was big brained and correct

Male here who grew up with a brother and a sister. I'm the youngest which may or may not be relevant.
Both siblings were and remain pigs. My brother though has a wife who is definitely not a pig so his house stays in check. My sister married another pig and their house is evidence of that and they are borderline contestants for the show Hoarders.
I'm a neat freak and an organizer and like minimal decor / hate clutter to point I don't like accent pillows on furniture.

Yeah, my armpits stank. Not a ton you can do about it (except you can, have them apply their acne cream or benzoyl peroxide to their pits in the shower).
Otherwise, it’s just basic hygiene and you won’t stink. Teen or otherwise.

Teen boys stink. Teen girls like teen boys.
Babies and children stink, tho. Those things are gross
