How about all the commercials that make men, specifically married men to be morons that can’t do anything.

Nah. Boy meets world had this shit on lock. We had like 3 different S tier male parental figures.

Same with Full House!

Well.. kinda. I mean Joey is an idiot. They’re definitely dumber than in BMW in general. Although imo all characters in full house are dumber than their BMW counterparts so.. meh.

I literally had a girlfriend that would defend her misandry by saying it's not her fault as she was raised on the sitcom dads being useless.

It didn't matter how many times I'd explain that if I used the same logic about being raised on aggressive and sexist men in movies like American Pie/Never Back Down then it would be a problem.

I don't understand why it's seemingly impossible for some to understand that tv is fake and normal people don't act the same way as Ray Romano, Ross Gellar, or Homer Simpson.

Lab Rats had the dad be a genius billionaire tech CEO with a trophy wife, and even then he was the dumb one.

Actually, looking back he is very clearly a parody of Elon Musk, so it kinda checks out. Still tho.

Sometimes I wonder if things like that were by design to influence behavior
