I think they are called derby spiders from where i live, because they are the only first species of orbweavers to ever walk like a robot and highly aggressive compared to other spiders.

Cute little huntsman - we are currently visiting Australia

Firstly, if anyone could identify her that would be fab. I haven’t done any googling, but she’s about the size of my pinky nail.

But importantly, we are driving from Oregon to Idaho right now and noticed her a little too late on our car. Should I just let her be? She’s fine living in our mirror, but I worry the climate change could kill her. Also happy to make a little home for her in my home if it’s ethical.

First time here, since spiders freak me out haha. But I saw this spider at my work in Copenhagen, which I've never seen before in Denmark, and I've grown up here.

About the size of the last digit of my thumb. The only one I could think of are a type of spiders that hunt, rather than make webs

in central valley of california. found evidence of bro in my frogs terrium a week ago but was only able to catch him today. put him in the neighbors bush lol. thinking cobweb spider, but there is a bunch i’ve had to relocate from my room so would like the peace of mind cuz clearly an egg sac hatched. he’s the biggest ive found as the other ones were getting escaped fruit flies and he j had everything at his finger tips 🤣

I recently built a structure off my patio to hold 3 solar panels it's an awning, sort of, basically and has become a home for like 10 different little webs of these exact spiders right here. I love spiders but I'm unsure what this is. I know it's not a recluse or black widow so I'm good also I'm in Missouri if that helps

Looking for an ID on this spider, I am located in Northeast Ohio, however i am around recreational vehicles often as my work revolves around them so it may have traveled.

Hey all, so a nice plump Orb Weaver (I believe) has visited my home, unfortunately they have placed themself in an unfortunate spot- between my two outdoor trashbins, which are frequently (once a week) taken to the curb for the trash pickup service

I want to relocate my friend, but I know some insects/arachnids can be fragile creatures, so I wanted to ask here before I do anything

Can I safely relocate this spider if I gently cup it in a plastic container? Is me doing this going to stress it out or disrupt its life enough that it dies?

If not, will it likely return to the same spot eventually? Should I take it super far away? If so, where would be the best place to put it so it's got the best chance of building a better home? I hate to destroy such a nice looking setup but I gotta take out my trash eventually 🥲
