Question Why is the conversation around Bryce’s contract all or nothing?
It seems like most of the discussion amongst analysts is that this is a make or break year for Bryce Young (obviously) and that if he has a good year, we will have to pay him the going rate for quarterbacks. (Basically a franchise deal)
Let’s say Bryce improves, we have a winning record, but we don’t make the playoffs. He’s not a star but he’s more consistent and it’s clear that, while he’s not our whole offense, he has enough of a grasp of it and runs it well enough that Dave, Dan, and co want to keep him till we develop a better option. What happens then? Does Bryce not take a lesser deal because he theoretically could start elsewhere? Are teams that desperate to take a quarterback that (in this scenario) has only proven to be pretty good, mid tier, at best?
Please note, I don’t want Bryce opinions, I want to know why his contract is all or nothing. Keep the hate or love to yourselves.

Discussion What's your Fantasy Football team name?
Every year I draft a ton of Panthers players in the only fantasy league I play in just to see how far I can get. Last year was my most egregious, having fielded my entire team with Panthers and not doing too bad!
But we're here to discuss names, and I want to hear 'em! Mine is always Panthers related. Last year, it was "The Bryce is Right". This year, with Bryce obviously being my QB1, Tmac and Coker being the cornerstones, I've named my team this year:
Big Mac with Bryce and a Coke

Discussion ESPN Power Ranking
I just saw ESPN’s latest power rankings, and they have us finishing last in the NFC South. Needless to say, I’m not thrilled. Am I crazy for thinking the Panthers could win the division and possibly even a playoff game?

Question Tailgate location suggestions
We are coming from out of town to take in the Panthers opener. We are committed to doing our own tailgate with grills and the works! Is there a lot people would recommend? Ideally, we would start early — a 6 or 7am start time is not out of the question. I was scoping out some lots down in the area circled in red. I hope to lock down a spot before we get there, but I’ll take any suggestions. I appreciate any tips.

Discussion First ever NFL Game, what time should I arrive at the stadium?
Hi. I'll be attending the Carolina Panthers v Denver Broncos game at the Bank of America Stadium on November 8. This is my first NFL game, and coming from Europe on an NC trip I honestly don't know that much about American Football and stadium culture. I see that my ticket is already valid from 1pm, but the match only starts at 8pm I think. I'm quite familiar with how things work in Europe, having worked stadium security at soccer matches, but just looking at the opening times I can already tell things are different. Is there any value in arriving earlier (I read online that the tailgate scene can be pretty big at certain stadiums, but again, as an outsider, I'm not entirely sure what that entails) or is it for the best to just get there an hour before the start of the match? I was advised by a friend from Raleigh to eat at Bojangles in the Stadium, so I'll be doing that at the very least.
Thanks in advance for your replies!
EDIT: Apparently 1pm is kickoff, and the 8pm comes from the sites I looked at automatically adjusting for my timezone and throwing me for a loop. Thats very good to know
