If you have been on your weight loss journey or have lost a significant amount of weight, I have a couple questions:

• What gym did you go to, and did you feel supported/not judged there
• Was there like a group you went to where there were other people losing weight
• Was there like a club or a place where they helped you?

There is a former therapist named Bryon Bratt in Lincoln who lost his license for sexual exploitation and misconduct last year and is now trying to be a “Relationship Loss Life Coach”.

This is horrifying. Life coaches have no code of ethics, no governing board to hold anyone accountable. Everything he describes on his website www.rebuildthepathway.com is therapy and he gets to hide under the guise of “coaching”, half ass disclaimers that he doesn’t diagnose or perform therapy, and it is completely unacceptable.

How is downtown parking on Game Day?

My family and I are travelling to Lincoln tomorrow for a play date with my granddaughter at the Children’s Museum on P street. We will be there in the afternoon from 2 to 5 and realize the Husker game should be in progress / getting over somewhere in the time period.

The Museum’s site recommends using the Larson Building Parking Garage.  Does this get filled up with Husker parking? If it does, how hard will it be to find parking close to the museum?

i’ve been waiting for a package for the last week. it’s a limited edition energy drink that I was really excited for and to share with my coworkers as the last 2 weeks have sucked for us. I go to check my tracking to see when it’ll get delivered today and am met with “package damaged and all merchandise thrown out”. the entire case of 12? that cannot get replaced because they’re sold out. UPS didn’t even notify me I had to find out for myself. i’m so frustrated! this is why I never ship with them anymore.

A reminder that Sacred Harp Lincoln is singing tomorrow from 9am-3pm ish at First Plymouth Church with a break for a potluck lunch! Unfortunately it is sportsball day so the Ross aint showing the film, but go see it tonight through Sept 10th to learn all about the long history of shape note singing. I know that in a world of 8.3 billion people that it’s statistically unlikely that the person who is the absolute worst at their job on the planet would reside in our relatively small city but the person who plans out when and where to start construction projects for the City of Lincoln has to be in the top 10, right?

Just curious how Lincoln ended up in this situation. We have the national roller skating museum but no roller rinks. I remember there were 2 when I was a kid now there are none. Did it fall out of popularity or what? I know we have an ice rink which is really nice but it would be fun to have both.
