Looking for Recommendations Anywhere in Lincoln that can fix computer motherboards?
Messed up something on my computers motherboard and I want it to be checked out to see if it can be fixed

I had a good experience with Gear Up Electronics for my laptop repair but it wasn't a motherboard. He's very responsive and honest I'd give him a call and see what he says.

Noted, it is a laptop though does that do a difference? It’s an Alienware M15 R3 with a power rail issue 😭

Mmm sadly you will probably need to take it in. Alienware(Dell) is particularly bad about making it almost impossible to open up and do your own work. IT computers would be my first stop for it

It depends on what needs to be done. If new things need to be soldered on you arent really going to find anyone willing to do that. If it is a wire issue or cmos replacement or something like that they can fix it. Your only option beside that is to send it back to Dell and see if they can do anything but I can almost promise you they won't.

I used to work there, and we never accepted any motherboard repairs like that during my tenure. You can take it in and ask for sure, but Louis Rossman is the only repair guy I've ever known to actually do board repairs like that.

What kind of fix are you talking? A specific part that needs to be refit? Micro soldering? If it's anything but a quick fix you're probably better off just replacing the board.
