Adrenadict (adrenaline addict, ie, not willing to do anything but the high of ‘finishing a piece’, circumventing the skill building work)
Propmpter (simple. They use prompts)
Technician (another one. It’s a shortcut. As such, they are machine technicians, at best. And even that is discrediting the valuable labour of blue collar workers and women, whose labour is often undervalued, so know I don’t mean any bad intentions towards those valuable members of society. The ‘skill’ is at tailoring a string of words to a machine, a skill not applicable to any other field, the same way one operates a pinball machine. ((ChatGP Technican)).)
Midwit (usually means someone who appears to have some expert knowledge but knows very little. Or someone of average intelligence thinking they’re a genius. AI is their midwit mask for appearing more competent at a task they refuse to develop in any constructive way. Even funnier if you go MidJourney Midwit, for the fell sting of alliteration.)
Operator (similar to technician.)
Offloader (since they offload their cognitive and mental labour to a machine.)
Secretary (they write down words for someone else’s use and deliver / receive the outputs to a third location. Sounds like an Intern or a Secretary. I am only sorry that this throws a bit of shade to the interns and secretaries doing good work.)
Technical Support (TS for short, though that could be a bit confusing with this s**t. Huh. Weird. … Because they fine-tune outputs like an IT guy with a TV antennae. The way they phrase it, the AI doesn’t really need them. In theory, they could just have another agent come up with the prompt to generate the image.)
50th centile. (The middle of it all. Because, when mapped for feature rarity, AI is extremely average.)
Slopper (pretty obvious.)
Bubblers (AI bubble / their ‘bubble’ of hope that the technology will replace us all.)
SkyNet Squaddies (this one is a bit mean, but since most AI Bubblers want a superintelligence, even with the current… Uh, tendencies it shows, I think it fits.)
Grok Groupies (self explanatory.)
Mine Sweepers (because they’ve been DeepMined? … No? Well, I thought it was funny. DeepMiners could also work, since I don’t know how much light or fresh air they’re seeing.)
Gemmini’s Cancers (following the star-sign theme. And they’re like crabs, in a shell.)
Flatpack Freddies (more alliteration, off the fact that you can’t claim to be a carpenter if you’re ordering flatpack furniture from IKEA and having one of the workers assemble it for you, when all you did was press a button.)
I think that’s all I’ve got. Anyone got any more suggestions to add to the list? But really, guys. Don’t DeepMind them! :D
