3)as a proxy for what AI can do ( as benchmark), as well as simply an interest in what AI can do.

Ultimately, AI has more applications than human artists.

In real life while using any image/video for commercial purpose you ensure the model appearing in it have signed model release agreement. However, while using AI you don't know if the generated person by AI matches with someone in real life. It may happen you use that image/video for advertisement and someday you receive a notice from someone saying you are using my face without permission.

Let's say I give prompt "create a dating video of Indian young male and female" to AI tool. The prompt is genric having no reference to any individual. The AI creates video showing two persons and you use that for advertisement purpose. These are some questions that I have.

1. How to ensure the person generated by AI isn't matching with someone in real life?
2. How do businesses using AI image/video ensure the above?

It's one thing to criticize OpenAI for a result that isn't what they're promoting, but you initially said that only scientific AI is good, and currently the most successful methods for using LLM are those that occur in science. You can criticize Vibe coding at length, but you can't say same about solved scientific problems, especially if they weren't very popular, because then they pass two tests. The first in importance, and the second is that LLM does something humans don't do (because humans don't want to do it).

And whether AI is autonomous or not doesn't matter at all. The fact remains that AI helps science in areas where humans don't want to do things. Maybe , ironically, current AI is already the scientific sector you wanted and it isn't what Sam Altman wants and not what will give him many moneys?

One response was nothing more than someone (not me) plugging the riddle into a current model and it getting the riddle correct. (The man is looking at a painting of his own son.)

What's the OP's response? "defending WATER-POISONING corporations". And the Anti derived this corporation defending from...what, exactly? It's nothing but a screenshot of a prompt and response. Yet immediately they go straight to the offense instead of any sort measured response.

Now none of this particular interaction involved me. But that sort of thing has happened to me before. For me, it really started when I posted in a work-related sub about how Copilot keys had been removed from our display laptops. Because I dared to call the act vandalism (which, by definition, it is, even if minor in scope), I got all sorts of responses attacking me. Most of those were similar to the one I am sharing, calling me some corporate defender. Normally, "look at what customers damaged" goes well on the sub, but because it had something related to the subject of AI, out came the swords and daggers.

Sometimes I just have to distance myself from the sheer toxicity.
