Fucking a. I just talked to one over there trying to use the Clancy trial as a means to say WAMEN BAD

“Women, amirite?”

u/Astralglamour 4h ago

Meanwhile, during the trial there have probably been 20 male family annihilations that they ignore.

u/The_Adminiwitch 4h ago

During the 22 day trial, 8 men annihilated their families.

u/akatherder 4h ago

Are those men monsters or products of a failed system? I'm going with monsters.

u/kalidoscopiclyso 3h ago

Were they suffering psychosis or were they everyday abusers

u/Cute_but_notOkay 4h ago

😳 even worse, we have no idea cuz it’s not being broadcast like hers.

The men in power are the worst ones. And the ones scrolling Reddit wanna be just like them 🤢

u/GrooveAndGravy52 2h ago

Society still accepts caveman like behavior from men.

u/american_dope_fiend 3h ago

Yeah psychos gonna psychopath… how many of those men have a 100,000 deep fan club And over a million dollars in donations? Miss me with the Clancy is a victim bullshit. Regardless of sex, fry these child murderers.

u/suspendmeforthis 3h ago

Do you know what psychosis means?

→ More replies (6)

u/No_Consequence_6821 2h ago

How many of those men were impeccable, dedicated parents who took care of other people’s babies as well as their own, and only after medication broke their brain did they ever harm anyone? And then how many of those men tried to kill themselves after hurting their kids? And how many were affected by hormones from childbirth causing psychosis?

No? None? So, we don’t have any reason to believe that they’re in tremendous pain and unimaginable suffering due to living with the reality of what they did under that psychosis? No? Then we’re not going to have the same compassion for them that we do for Lindsay Clancy, who likely could not be in more pain.

Not only is “fan club” the wrong term, but it really cheapens the reality of what people feel for her, which is compassion for her pain.

There’s one about every 5 days. Men are 91-95% responsibility for murdering their families. But now men are concerned about Lindsey copycats. Ok.

u/PoopyButt28000 2h ago

I do agree that a lot of people are just using it as a way to shit on all women which is super gross, but I reckon they would say that the difference is that none of those 20 men are being donated a million dollars and being endlessly defended.

u/Skarekrows 54m ago

Thousands of men aren't holding protest in support of those male family annihilators. Nor are they fundraising over a million dollars for them. In fact women are sending love letters to them like Chris Watts.

u/FatherOfBean 53m ago

Difference is men hate men killing their kids. Women have spoke in support of the woman killing her kids.

The assasin Kills 3 kids but you're like ,"they are mean to this lady". Fk'hell.

u/hyvel0rd 1h ago

Oh god, so it's because this sub attracts the absolute dregs of society then I guess. I've been trying to argue about this case there and I just got spamvoted down to oblivion. And I wasn't even saying that she's not guilty, just that PPD is fucking serious and that there are a lot of very weird things happening in this case, also regarding the husband. And my god, they were savage.

I didn't know the sub, but I figured to not go back there after that happening twice. Now I know.

u/fragrant-final-973 5h ago

They love that trial so much.

u/Low-Concentrate1055 4h ago edited 2h ago

The discussion around the Lindsey Clancy trial had really fucking scared me. Soooo many people are being so rabidly sexist its scaring tf outta me.

This is just an extension of that. It's fucking gross, and I hope this woman gets justice.

Edit: The responses are just proving my point.

u/NebulaNinja 4h ago

There's no way that should shock you.

u/Low-Concentrate1055 2h ago

There's a difference between acknowledging someone is extremely mentally ill and needs help without excusing their actions, and using that as a catalyst to violently hate women.

u/LarryBonds30 2h ago

Call it whatever you want. She strangled her children to death. The vast majority of people dont give a shit why after they hear that.

u/OppositeNail3610 4h ago

Seriously, the amount of ppl accusing the husband is ridiculous. So misandrist and sexist.

u/Neither_Strategy_252 4h ago

u/OppositeNail3610 4h ago

That’s a you and your feed issue. Very anecdotal. If I show you 5 videos would that change your opinion?

u/YoMomAndMeIn69 4h ago

The fact that sexism vs women is the thing about the trial that scares you, speaks volumes how fucked the society has become.

u/Different_Umpire9003 3h ago

The irony of saying that on THIS post

u/Low-Concentrate1055 3h ago

It's the fact that we have men screaming to repeal the 19th Amendment because idiots have no fucking idea what psychosis is like.

u/YoMomAndMeIn69 3h ago

Lol I think we all see the psychosis among the supporters

u/IllCelebration4912 2h ago

Psychosis doesn’t make you do that plus her getting into a mental ward means she could be free one day which is why people want life in prison

u/WormsDelicious286 2h ago

If you can be completely out of control of your actions and not responsible for the outcome, but still able to plan and carry it out without anyone being able to stop you, and its all over after 20 minutes and you'll never relapse again so you're safe to be free in public without having a prison sentence - what makes you think it won't happen in the 5 minutes that you're casting a ballot?  What makes you think they can't buy a sniper rifle and scope out some hiding spots near political rallies?  They are 'not guilty' because of 'insanity' right?

Either one woman goes to jail forever or we can't trust any women from now on, which is the better option for society?  I for one support the right to vote for everyone, and that means not giving anyone a way to commit premeditated murder and get away with it.

u/Xeddicus_Xor 4h ago

I just assume things like this are psyops now, purposefully held under a microscope and then swarmed with belligerent opinionated bots to distract people with court drama and culture war bs. Drive people further to the right basically by presenting the left as crazy with their own fake bots acting that way. And of course the bots work on like 1/3 of the people who encounter them, so you end up with real morons who now hold those calculated and planted opinions of the bot farmers.

u/MichealParsons11 2h ago

Idk man, I live in a super conservative area, and I’ve seen several conservative women posting all these evidence facts about why the husband more likely did it. Her body temperature, the neck slice, the locked door, his fingerprints, crushed pills, pills in his trunk, locked the door b4 jumping out the window, suicide in a way women don’t do it, unable to speak, etc. conservative women all throughout the comments agreeing. Several conservative men also posting stuff about her not being guilty. I’m very confused bc I haven’t followed the trial. I just see Fox making it seem like a political thing and it’s clearly not coming from one side or the other.

→ More replies (6)

u/Hawgdestroyerxtreme 4h ago

They love that trial so much.

It's artificial and bot-driven engagement bait, and Sipstea is an incredibly astroturfed subreddit designed to pipeline young men into the alt-right.

They want to use it as a means to push that "women bad" narrative both for AOC/Kamala in 2028 and as a means to repeal the 19th amendment. The same young gen Z guys in their early-mid 20's who fell for this shit in 2024 and regret it are about to fall right back into the next culture war moment again. They won't get a 3rd chance.

The US Right wing is EXCEPTIONALLY good at crafting narratives and then shoving them in your face over and over and over to legitimize the discussion. There is no discussion to be had when it comes to this, there is no amending the 19th.

u/dissonaut69 3h ago

I saw a post over there "morality scaling" picking the bear over the woman with postpartum depression, and way too many men who believed with their full chest that women with PPD were dangerous and ticking time bombs.

I got downvoted to hell for pointing out that they were still mad about the bear 2 years later. Honestly, that should have been my first red flag. The second was having a reply "racism being violence is a bullshit lie spouted by college liberals."

u/IllCelebration4912 3h ago

u/Helpful-Duty4815 3h ago

u/Justcoffeeforme 2h ago

Lindsay Clancy has admitted to murdering her children. Yes that is a very bad thing??? And then a bunch of women have donated over a million dollars to her? Do you think that's a good thing?

u/Justcoffeeforme 2h ago

Lindsay Clancy has admitted to murdering her children. Yes that is a very bad thing??? And then a bunch of women have donated over a million dollars to her? Do you think that's a good thing?

u/Ill_Technician3936 1h ago

I disagree with that person. But I hate that it ended in a mistrial. Fucked up to judge off of looks and I'd hate to be judged by my looks but she doesn't look crazy to me. She looks like a hard drug user. She might have killed her kids trying to withdrawal or maybe because they were just fucking up her trying to get high.

I will absolutely admit that I only know that her 3 children were murdered and her defense was some form of insanity. I just feel like insane or not she should at the very least get 3 guilty charges for manslaughter.

u/HumanRelay 11m ago

I watched a video earlier today that made a pretty good case for the idea that the media is giving max coverage to that nonsense to try and divide the US down the middle (again), since Dem and Rep voters are all similarly starting to see that their “heroic” self serving candidates don’t give a rat’s F about any of us, and so because the deep state can’t divide us on political lines, they are trying to stage all of this as a good vs evil battle between men and women to keep us fighting. If we are turning our homes and neighborhoods into battlegrounds facing off allies, we are far less likely to unite against them.

How did you figure this out? I have 3 comments from the last year on that subreddit, and my insights show no data from India.

Edit: This person is just coping with the clear cultural shift among men by blaming Indians. I suggest they review surveys and statistics from whatever Western country they live in.

u/SteeveyPete 2h ago

Yeah, I'm quite skeptical about this. It really feels like trying to to downplay sexism in western countries by using the popular racist stereotypes of the day.

In my experience, usually when I see someone being sexist, they're usually also racist, and tend not to have positive opinions on Indian people either

The current wave of misogyny from India is led by the BJP IT Cell.

The younger crop of well-off, anglophone kids are very progressive and that has been seen as desirable on social media. This seriously threatens their voteshare as India is a very young country. So they're trying very hard to forment gender based discontent, and trying to create a generation of regressive, victimised, perpetually raging conservative men whose votes they can bank upon.

u/AnaisNinja76 2h ago

I mean, it worked pretty well in the US etc. I could see it working exceptionally well there.

u/Prestigious-Emu-8734 5h ago

Its what happens. A reddit sub that uses about a niche topic gets popular and its get flooded by Nazis and repost bots. I cant count how many subs have died out because everyone else just left. But that also means the bots need to move to the next new popular sub.

u/Enlightened_Gardener 5h ago

One of my favourite subs is /r/2westerneurope4u, which is basically a sub for Euros to be rude to each other.

Every now and then a genuine racist tries to enter the chat, and gets eaten alive by euros who’ve been practicing their witty banter on each other for millennia.

Mostly its taking the piss out of the British for being fat and drinking too much beer, but there’s also taking the piss out of the Germans for being fat and drinking too much beer, and also the Dutch, for being fat and drinking too much beer.

Its also quite fun watching the old battle lines redrawn over the really important stuff, like football; where the South unites against the North and everyone starts polishing their armor and sharpening their spears, and dark mutterings are heard about Teutoburg…

Half of the misogynistic posts in that sub are from people active in "twenties India" or "Bollywood memes" but sure, definitely not Indian.

u/AnaisNinja76 2h ago

It's not just those subs either. Additionally, there's a wild increase in AI generated posts, often speaking flat-out gibberish, word salad, or illogical, or incoherent speech. Like they're augmenting what they want to say with bizarre scripted responses from bots. They're very hostile from the jump. You don't even have to do anything, they'll tear into you.

u/UltimaDv 1h ago

Oh is that why like 5 different tea subs hit the front page now

u/c-dy 1h ago

Took over? lmao

That sub was created with sexist purpose.

On the contrary, over the past 2-4 years or so a lot (very) left-leaning users joined, which misled many people into thinking this sub represented progressive views.

But in the past few months sexist threads have started to dominate that sub again.

→ More replies (2)

u/ThomasTheDankPigeon 5h ago

It’s very bad. The insidious part is that 80% of the sub is normal so the propaganda isn’t immediately obvious. I left a comment there earlier today bringing receipts about the racist propaganda (didn’t even bring up the sexism that is equally rampant) and of course got downvoted by the bots lol

Such a bummer too because it used to be one of the funner meme subs a few years ago

u/MonsterkillWow 5h ago

Yea I joined for the memes, but it seems all meme places get infiltrated by nazis.

u/Development-Feisty 1h ago

ADHD memes is still pretty safe

u/one_mean_sun 5h ago

They fuck up every sub they show up in. Memes are targeted as a form of youth outreach, but anywhere they inject themselves it goes to shit. r/conspiracy used to be a legit fun and mostly rational sub until those fucks got their hands on it.

u/GraDoN 4h ago

Conspiracy forums were never just fun, those people were never "just talking about JFK and big foot" as many people always like to claim. I'm not denying that it got objectively worse, but most of them were always into antisemitic global conspiracies. They were just more careful about it than now.

u/AccomplishedIron816 2h ago edited 2h ago

I’ve been noticing this. It’s like reddit got overtaken by 1-8 month old accounts with usually more contributions than karma and they’ll just enter whatever sub posts something about a person of color or woman and be bigoted. I’ve noticed for sure sipstea, woahthatsinteresting, and really any wnba sub but especially wnbagossips/sportsgossips. But then you’ll get the fuckers like some above saying “you’re just seeing normal stuff now and not the far left hate” lol I didn’t know being a bigot was something to be proud of?

u/Cumbablot 2h ago

It's always like that. The_donald was a troll subreddit people took so seriously the US government is collapsing.

u/AnEvenNicerGuy 5h ago

It’s like misogyny recruitment parading as memes

u/rvralph803 5h ago

That's exactly what they are.

u/Ok_Vulva 4h ago

Alt right pipeline.

u/akatherder 3h ago

I'd argue the opposite. I could write a whole essay on it but it's an echo chamber for people to feel normal about being male without devolving into right wing.

Specifically it's how I keep being progressive when it seems other progressives blame white men (instead of rich people) for the country's ills.

Yes, sipstea became a fairly hardcore conservative culture warrior subreddit starting around a year ago. It's been very obvious.

That's just a good half of men on reddit, so they're everywhere

She grabbed his drink. He pored it on her.

She physically attacked him. He pushed her away.

She grabbed a bottle off the table to use as a weapon. He pushed her away.

That is what the video shows. That's the reality of the video.

Do you see something else?

u/MichealParsons11 2h ago

Uh yeah. From what I saw(and I don’t think this caption fits the video I think they were a couple), she tried to take away his drink(makes me think they’re a couple and she wanted to cut him off, possibly bc he gets angry and violent when drunk as he did here) he dumped the beer all over her head(not self defense and very much abusive behavior) she pushed away his hand bc he was dumping his beer all over her. She got up and lifted her arms around his shoulders, he got angry and shoved her out of her seat to the ground. Then for no reason got up and kicked her while she was on the ground and defenseless to really drive the point home. She jumped up and grabbed a bottle to defend herself after that kick bc she’s not safe on the ground clearly, and he came at her to shove her throat extremely hard rather than taking the bottle out of her hand and/or walking away, she wasn’t attacking him w the bottle it was a self defense measure. Wtf are you watching, and I’m now very concerned for any women around you if that’s what you think you watched, a man defending himself, HUGE yikes. You do know a woman trying to stop you from drinking more IS NOT assault, right???? But pouring that beer over her head IS assault. Kicking a defenseless woman on the ground IS assault too.

I think you can make a self defense argument for the shove, after she grabs a bottle like she clearly wants to hit him with it. The two lines before that though are really stupid. She reaches for his drink for whatever reason so he chucks it in her face. She understandably reacts negatively to having a drink chucked in her face so he knocks her to the ground. He absolutely started it, and you're insane if you think her pawing at his drink justifies him throwing it in her face.

u/Justcoffeeforme 1h ago

I never tried to justify anything. You're putting words in my mouth.

I don't think he should have thrown the drink in her face because she grabbed his glass.

But I do think he's well within his rights to push her away after she stood up and lunged at him.

And within his rights to push her down with his foot again so he could get away.

And grabbing a bottle off of a table and lunging towards someone is actually assault.

I was wondering why I was seeing so much misogyny on that subreddit, when did that start to happen?

u/speedloafer 3h ago

Is SipsTea the "bottom class in school" subreddit? Ever since that murder trial every post that came up on my timeline was like it was written by somebody with a head injury.

u/MfD2027 3h ago

Lmfao word, she should’ve smashed that glass on the table on his fucking face and caved his shit till the life juice spilled out.

Be mad women have to put up with these (can’t say that word, cause it ain’t nothing nb here gonna like)…

u/CheesyBreadMunchyMon 3h ago

The retards on SipsTea seem to think Clancy is innocent though based on some threads over there.

What's sipstea?

It's crazy how that place has nosedived into a grievance sub in the last year. I sent a message to mods about the trend and they played dumb & demanded examples.
