How many of those men were impeccable, dedicated parents who took care of other people’s babies as well as their own, and only after medication broke their brain did they ever harm anyone? And then how many of those men tried to kill themselves after hurting their kids? And how many were affected by hormones from childbirth causing psychosis?

No? None? So, we don’t have any reason to believe that they’re in tremendous pain and unimaginable suffering due to living with the reality of what they did under that psychosis? No? Then we’re not going to have the same compassion for them that we do for Lindsay Clancy, who likely could not be in more pain.

Not only is “fan club” the wrong term, but it really cheapens the reality of what people feel for her, which is compassion for her pain.

Will they face justice? Some killed themselves. Some have also claimed insanity. Others flee and are not caught for years if at all.

I have not seen anyone saying that Lindsay Clancy should go free because she was psychotic at the time of the murders. She should be in a mental health facility. PPP is not common and PPP that results in violent actions is even more rare. Psychotic killers are not legally responsible for their actions but they should not be free in society until there is no risk of their psychosis recurring.

It’s rare but there are a % of formerly loving mothers, like Clancy from all accounts who get it and kill their kids while psychotic. It can happen to any mother and people can’t control psychosis.

If you can be completely out of control of your actions and not responsible for the outcome, but still able to plan and carry it out without anyone being able to stop you, and its all over after 20 minutes and you'll never relapse again so you're safe to be free in public without having a prison sentence - what makes you think it won't happen in the 5 minutes that you're casting a ballot?  What makes you think they can't buy a sniper rifle and scope out some hiding spots near political rallies?  They are 'not guilty' because of 'insanity' right?

Either one woman goes to jail forever or we can't trust any women from now on, which is the better option for society?  I for one support the right to vote for everyone, and that means not giving anyone a way to commit premeditated murder and get away with it.

It's funny, I don't subscribe to that sub but it came up in my feed. It was a post that was speaking along the lines of what you say, but I didn't realize that it first. All I seen was a link to the court documents. I read the psychological history of her. What she did, where she sought help, where she failed, where she kept trying.

Before this post I was firmly in the punish the person who hurt the kids crowd. After reading that court document, I realized I don't know f ucking enough to begin to pass judgment.

It's funny that that enlightenment came from that sub in that post.

Idk man, I live in a super conservative area, and I’ve seen several conservative women posting all these evidence facts about why the husband more likely did it. Her body temperature, the neck slice, the locked door, his fingerprints, crushed pills, pills in his trunk, locked the door b4 jumping out the window, suicide in a way women don’t do it, unable to speak, etc. conservative women all throughout the comments agreeing. There wouldn't be crowds of women supporting her if some didn't also donate and genuinely believe she should walk free.

It doesn't matter what systems failed her. Talk about the systems, not freeing a child murderer.

I also don't care if Watts was sane or not when he killed his kids. It's not about what's between your legs it's about the fact children are sacred. A mother is not worth more than her kids. If she believes she is she doesn't deserve them or freedom. It's that simple.

It's artificial and bot-driven engagement bait, and Sipstea is an incredibly astroturfed subreddit designed to pipeline young men into the alt-right.

They want to use it as a means to push that "women bad" narrative both for AOC/Kamala in 2028 and as a means to repeal the 19th amendment. The same young gen Z guys in their early-mid 20's who fell for this shit in 2024 and regret it are about to fall right back into the next culture war moment again. They won't get a 3rd chance.

The US Right wing is EXCEPTIONALLY good at crafting narratives and then shoving them in your face over and over and over to legitimize the discussion. There is no discussion to be had when it comes to this, there is no amending the 19th.

I disagree with that person. But I hate that it ended in a mistrial. Fucked up to judge off of looks and I'd hate to be judged by my looks but she doesn't look crazy to me. She looks like a hard drug user. She might have killed her kids trying to withdrawal or maybe because they were just fucking up her trying to get high.

I will absolutely admit that I only know that her 3 children were murdered and her defense was some form of insanity. I just feel like insane or not she should at the very least get 3 guilty charges for manslaughter.

I watched a video earlier today that made a pretty good case for the idea that the media is giving max coverage to that nonsense to try and divide the US down the middle (again), since Dem and Rep voters are all similarly starting to see that their “heroic” self serving candidates don’t give a rat’s F about any of us, and so because the deep state can’t divide us on political lines, they are trying to stage all of this as a good vs evil battle between men and women to keep us fighting. If we are turning our homes and neighborhoods into battlegrounds facing off allies, we are far less likely to unite against them.
