No way! You mean to tell me all we have to do is actually lock up criminals instead of letting them out on bail for the 19th time? Get your "common sense" out of here! No, the solution is much more complicated than that! /s
Rehabilitation should be the point of these systems, it ignores it completely and does a pretty horrible job. Sure it “brings crime down” but I’m not trusting a dictatorship’s definition of crime
I never signed up for this “rehabilitation should be the goal, not punishment” crap. Antisocial criminals should be removed from society to protect society.

El Salvador reduced their crime from crazy high to almost none by harshly imprisoning all their criminals.
