Just in the past day, Trump's social media rant included the following:
- Ranking himself the greatest American president, explicitly above the likes of Lincoln and Washington
- Renaming New Mexico to New America
- Threatening to blow up oil facilities on Kharg Island (while global gas prices are rising)
- Banning Canada from selling Bombardier in the US
- Declaring the moon an American territory
- Boasting about successful stock trades

Is there actually a long run sophisticated plan behind this seemingly unhinged behavior that I've overlooked? Or has he simply adopted a misguided approach to portraying strength to the world?
