This has always bothered me about Naruto's worldbuilding.

Haku had one of the most absurdly useful Kekkei Genkai we've seen, especially for someone who was basically a nobody from a small village. Ice Release gave him insane mobility, defensive options, multi-directional attacks, and the ability to fight through his mirrors in ways that were genuinely difficult to deal with.

And then he dies... and apparently everyone just moves on. 💀

Like, we're talking about a world where villages are constantly trying to steal information, develop forbidden jutsu, experiment on people's bodies, transplant abilities, and create biological weapons.

Orochimaru literally spent years experimenting on Kekkei Genkai, and the Hidden Villages were willing to do some insane shit just to gain military advantages.

So you're telling me nobody thought, "Maybe we should figure out how Haku's Ice Release works"?

Even if you can't perfectly recreate the bloodline, you'd think someone would've at least tried to reproduce the techniques or develop artificial versions of them.

And this gets even weirder when you remember that Ice Release isn't some god-tier ability like the Rinnegan. It's a Kekkei Genkai belonging to a relatively obscure clan.

So was Haku just insanely unlucky to be born with an ability that nobody bothered researching?

Or is this another example of Naruto's worldbuilding where characters have ridiculously valuable abilities and the entire shinobi world conveniently forgets they exist?

That's why I could never take this seriously no other writer is held to this standard. I'm also blaming rock lee fans for this.

Guys Anko’s main function was to give the curse mark early context and weight. That’s it.

She also serves as the Forest of Death proctor (sets the tone and rules for that stage of the exams), but the reason she has the Orochimaru connection and the curse mark specifically is to give the seal early context and weight before Sasuke gets it. Once that job is done, the story doesn’t really need more from her.

After rewatching Naruto I was wondering if he’s a bum or was just not on Sasuke’s level because if he didn’t have the Izanagi he would have been dead the first time because in the entire fight it was just him defending and trying to run?

Life in prison seems kinda harsh for the crimes he committed

Removing the obvious Gyuki, shukaku and Kurama love as most of us have one in our hearts; but I’m curious what’s others’ favourites mine would definitely have to be Matatabi most likely due to the unique chakra design with their fur being flames is such a unique design in the lineup.

Like it's funny almost the most important team of the village at the end was left to these 2 , while obviously Naruto can't wish himself i really like the fact that Sai was still included as Team 7 , he is one of the few characters that actually becomes more important in Boruto but I always liked him and his interactions with others , him and yamato and Team 7 is the biggest team ever lol ,

But at the end this is what it was left of , Sasuke clearly missed out a lot but perhaps that's what it was meant to happen , what do you think ?

Would his crash out be mitigated due to his greater ties to the village and his friends without Orochimaru's and Obito's influence?

Or would he feel even more betrayed that the village he dedicated himself to was the reason for his family's death?
