Discussion I’m curious on everyone’s favourite beasts? And reasonings if you have any
Removing the obvious Gyuki, shukaku and Kurama love as most of us have one in our hearts; but I’m curious what’s others’ favourites mine would definitely have to be Matatabi most likely due to the unique chakra design with their fur being flames is such a unique design in the lineup.

My favorite is Son Goku the four tails.
Not only does he remind make me think of Goku from dragon ball (another anime I adore) but he’s also one of many references this show has to journey to the west.
I also like his design and his ability to use lave style. After that is Matatabi since the blue flames are cool and unique

I thought you said "seasonings" in the title and I immediately thought 8 tails bc I fucking love eating octopus
Edit: you just gave me an insane idea. Ox and octopus stew with red chilies and Sichuan peppercorn. I so want to try this now

Okay that stew sounds delicious 😂🤤 gimme now I love a bit of squid honestly especially fried; not the time to be making me hungry when it’s 7am haha and sadly I did not say seasonings XD

Kurama is the obvious choice.
But I love the idea of Son Goku, and Matatabi probably has my favorite design.

I absolutely love Kokuo and Isobu. Also fun fact?: I can't remember but I'm pretty sure Kokuo and Matatabi are the only female Bijuu.

Kurama. I love him being the tsundere that he is. He’s also the cutest and really just wanted to be treated well. We can definitely be best buddies.

My favorite is probably Isobu. Love everything about his design, Water is my favorite element, and his coral ability seems pretty cool.
I also kinda like Saiken despite how derpy he looks haha. And Chomei was surprisingly cool too.
Son Goku, Isobu, Matatabi, and Shukaku have the coolest visuals IMO. They look dope!
Kokuo, Shukaku, Saiken and Son Goku have the coolest powers.
Kurama and Gyuki are still cool, but kinda.. meh
Kokuo and Saiken are easily the ugliest tailed beasts. Poor Kokuo....how did Kishimoto think a... Dolphin horse was gonna look good LIKE THAT. WHATS WITH ITS FACE? POOR guy.

Probably Son Goku, the Four-Tails. I just really like his design and the whole monkey/ape theme, plus Lava Release is a pretty sick ability. He also has more personality than a lot of the other Tailed Beasts, especially with his relationship with Roshi. Gyuki and Kurama would probably be my other favorites though.

Shukaku to me always looked more like a Pangolin with those scales than a Tanuki- and I think Pangolin are adorable. I also just like sand powers in general with Gaara being my favorite character.
I enjoyed the brief filler of Shukaku in Boruto as well.
