If Malaysian companies is the cause of the haze, then prosecuted them. We Malaysians don't care.

But all of this smoke spread to neighboring countries is because the Indonesian government itself is incompetent.

I'm genuinely curious to why the PKR MPs (Azmin Ali and others) jumped ship back then. Were there any explanations from their (PKR MPs) side as to what happened back then?

Science/ Technology Exclusive: Brussels keen to monitor UFOs under the radar

Just wanted to share some useful background on this story, because the origin is quite specific.

The images came from a Malaysian father‑and‑son amateur astronomy team (Annamalai Muthu and Arav Annamalai) in Penang, who originally gained recognition for building a mobile digital lens setup with UV and infrared filters to photograph the Moon. Their project won the Gold Award at SCINEX 2020 in Malaysia and was covered locally (e.g. Cilisos):

Their planetary tracking work later drew correspondence from NASA’s research department and the Malaysian Nuclear Agency. In October 2022 they sent the European Commission a dossier of 37 sky/space images and asked Commission President Ursula von der Leyen about the origin of some unexplained objects.

In response, the Commission’s Defence and Space department said it had no authority to investigate incidents over Malaysia, but indicated it would push member states to improve detection of objects in Earth’s space environment, partly to better identify UAPs and space debris. This was reported in August 2026 by Euronews and picked up by multiple outlets globally in 40 countries and in various languages : https://www.euronews.com/my-europe/2026/08/17/exclusive-brussels-keen-to-monitor-ufos-under-the-radar

There’s also a detailed video report by Cristina Gomez that ties together the Malaysian astronomersDutch passenger‑plane pilots reporting UAP near aircraft and sensitive sites, and the EU aviation safety / defence angle:
