I’m currently working full-time but thinking of pursuing a BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance through ODL, mainly because I don’t think I can commit to attending classes physically and I'm not based in Klang Valley.

I came across Veritas University College and their ODL option seems quite suitable for working adults.

What caught my attention is that the degree also gives up to 9 ACCA paper exemptions.

For anyone who has done an ODL degree while working, what should I be looking out for? 😅

I actually already applied for BKNS and still waiting for results but I'm sceptical if I'm gonna get accepted or not because I read lots of stories where people with same circumstances as me (good result, came from b40 family and bumiputera) but still got rejected 💆🏻‍♀️💆🏻‍♀️ besides, I also got offered some kind of penajaan from UPU and I'm scared BKNS will reject me because of it.

I don't have any 'cable' too 😭

So now I'm wondering whether I should apply for PTPTN or not (but honestly I don't want to cuz first of all, the negative stigma surrounding it and second, it's just too much of a hassle 😬) because I'm so scared BKNS will reject me.

Anyone who have any insights regarding this matter especially about the penajaan cuz I never heard about it before pls help 🙏 really need second opinions rn.

Guys...I've just enrolled for a bachelor's degree in mahsa, and I've noticed small little flaws about the management. It's very messy, I kept getting emails to fill in forms and to access the portal before I was even activated as a student and before I even got an offer letter. Had to keep referring to one of the staffs because it was so confusing 😭😭😭 and about payments, why aren't we given any invoice at all???? How would we have a proof of payment if we are not given invoices. I get that we have like a paper that is handed to us during open day n stuff, but jeez seems kinda unprofessional if ure gonna ask us to pay but not attach or list an invoice out. Had to personally ask the staff to get an invoice from the financial department 😭

Anyway, just really small stuff, but I do hope that they can improve on this..might bring it up to them soon

I'm getting ready to start university soon, and my family has been encouraging me to consider law as a career.

I've been looking into different options and came across BAC's Foundation in Law (FIL). From what I've read, it seems like the foundation gives you a broad introduction to the legal field and there seem to be quite a few different pathways you can take afterwards.

Another thing that caught my attention is that BAC is an AI-native law school. Personally, I think AI is going to become quite important in the legal industry, and I'd actually like to learn how to use it properly rather than see it as something to avoid. So having AI incorporated into the learning environment seems like a plus to me.

I'm considering doing FIL at BAC, but I'm still not completely sure if it's the right choice.

For anyone who is currently studying at BAC or has graduated from BAC:

How is the campus life?

What are the classes and lecturers like?

Is the workload manageable?

What is the student community like?

How is AI actually incorporated into the learning experience?

And most importantly, if you did FIL, did you feel that it prepared you well for your law degree?

Thing is I don't have math in a levels (I had it in o levels and got A) and APU requires it or add math in o levels for CS so I rlly wanna know if there's unis that allow without A Level math/ o level add math
