I'm tired and depressed, how do you guys go on, does life even have purpose at all?
The only time I'm not depressed is when I'm keeping myself busy with work, so that I wouldn't be left all alone with my thoughts.
My friends keep on asking find a gf, yet all i can think is, why would I make a another human being suffer together when I myself does not enjoy being in same company with me...
What u even do when you been noticing that your mental health is detioarating at alarming pace, you been bedrotting more and more, glued to social media more and more, can't hold a convo with strangers as well as you would like and doing anything productive just makes you more sleepier even when you have been well rested that day.
Ohh and the rate you been sleeping has shot up recently as well and frankly it feels like I'm going to waste half of my life just by sleeping.
I'm tired of everything, anime, games, manga all those things that would bring joy before but now all of it just feel so hollow...like I can't feel anything but emptiness void devoid of any feeling whatsever...
I'm tired of everything, where I just make the clock tick away by sleeping more and more so that my next job will comes faster, where there at least I can feel something....
Life suck............

I havent been active on r/malaysia or reddit ever since i started to study overseas but, I remember being here during pre-covid times.. but is it just me or recently this subreddit and the rest of reddit got so much bots? 😰Just private accounts posting controversial stuff that gets a lot of upvote and when you google their name they post karma farming stuff on other subreddits as well, but you dont know since its a private account..
I really dont understand the use for these accounts tbh, I know people do this on insta/tiktok. etc to sell it for later but on Reddit??

There are lots of bots here, and also on default subreddits. In r/Malaysians you'd see some bots very eager to be friendly.

ok i am planning conceive starting next year. i will cabut my iud sometime in jan.
i need tips. anything and everything, supplements, workouts, mental expectations, etc, ill read them all. for context i am 34 this year so yes i am aware, quite behind the ideal fertility age.

My tortie cat was like that, then she grew up. Nowadays she only gets cuddly once a month or so. She used to be so cuddly all the time.

anyone in this thread got any malaysian YT recommendations? i'm trying to surprise my mom and my atuk by improving my malay and i'm tired of watching upin and ipin 😭 i'm struggling a bit to find nice YTbers, because they all speak english :(
if it helps, i like calm vlogs (like daily life vlogs) and true crime/internet drama channels (not in a gossipy way. i don't really care about what this or that influencer did but it's really nice background sound)

A conservative grifter was captured by ICE, got deported, and then went on an interview to talk about it.
I'm not really interested in the politics of it all. What I'm interested in is that he said "I've never been afraid before" describing that the experience made him feel fear for the very first time.
So I'm wondering,
Lack of fear growing up = lack of empathy? Lack of consideration towards others? Lack of humility?.
What happened (or didn't happen) in that man's life to the point that he tergamak had the audacity to support a cruel movement, that ended up destroying his own life later on?
What happened to the point that this grown man, is (almost, somewhat) learning empathy in his 40s, and that cruelty shouldn't be supported?
Is it causation or merely correlation that this man felt no fear growing up, and then turned to be an asshole?

Doesn't matter if they are young or old. Both are the same. Politicians are included. Ironically semua pencuri ni are active church goers.

Last night I did Grab when I picked up three PRC-looking Chinese guys.
Was driving the Sg. Besi highway (I think that's the name) when we got hit by a police roadblock. The police there asked me just one question - "buat Grab ke?", and then asked to see my passengers' identifications. Imagine my (small) surprise when they all spoke BM and have ICs.
I asked the cop if I have to show my IC and he said no. So either the safest seat in a roadblock is ironically the driver's, or I just have Malay privilege.

Actually doctor says should be like 25c but I always do 20, but I only use it to cool my room for like 15 mins before I off it and sleep
I don't sleep with AC on because I will wake up with very very dry throat, very uncomfortable

I aim for 25 but the hotter weather forces me to put it lower, 24 or even 23 degrees, which I'm a bit guilty of as I use AC everyday from 3pm 'till Subuh. It can't be helped though as I can't thermoregulate myself and produce sweat because of the high spinal injury level.

sleeping is 19c. but i dont use the aircon during the day. kipas siling ftw.
idk why kipas siling is not a common feature of houses in japan, i dont want to feel cold i just want to feel a nice breeze.

i tak turn on aircon if im staying in the house doing work etc. but i do tend to ketibas during online meetings, so i turn on the aircon to 21c until the meeting ends.

Saw a big fat grasshopper munching on hibiscus flower. Also saw a tiny one lepak-ing on my chili tree.
Myself from 6 years ago would've freaked out, but now I think I don't mind. I don't want plants and trees that can't handle a little bite anyway.
Except snails. End them. End them with a thousand salt packs.

I want to go full District 13 with my cult (in my imagination). And that includes underground facilities. Underground schools with functioning toilets. I should research the engineers who made those.
Internet research told me that in Malaysia, the deepest underground facilities open to the public are Tun Razak Exchange MRT station and Ampang Park MRT station. Interesting. Might visit them soon.
