General Cleaning What’s a good vacuum?

Hi there, currently I’m using a really old Samsung cordless vacuum. It has lost a lot of its power (can’t even vacuum spilled rice) and therefore I have to sweep a lot. I like a clean home, and I want to invest in a good vacuum cleaner. I’m looking for;

-preferably a cordless one, I have adhd and háte dealing with a cord.
-it has to be able to vacuum cat kibble and stuff.
-I have one cat and two small kids, so it has to be suitable for that household.
-I don’t have any carpet, might get a rug again when the kids are a little older.
-easy use for the ground floor. Upstairs I have a simple one that’s good enough for that space since there’s no eating/cat there. The ground floor = toilet, kitchen, hallway and living room.

Do you guys have any suggestions? I would prefer to not spend tóo much on one, however if there’s one that’s simply inferior to the other vacuums I’d think it would be a good investment bc of daily use.

Thank you!

I have two dogs who shed a lot, and I got the Bissell PowerClean FurGuard Deluxe 280W and I LOVE IT. It has 3 levels and I rarely ever have to use the strongest one, so the battery lasts for me ti clean my entire house (I only have small area rugs in two rooms). It has really helped with allergies too (my dad is allergic to dogs but no longer has reactions when he visits)

Should add I got mine at Costco, so the price may have been lower than if purchased elsewhere.

It's about $10 cheaper than Walmart's price, I got it on sale for I think $180 at the time.

I use a shark stratos - you do have to clean filters once a month, if you want to avoid that you can get a Henry cordless and use a bag

For your setup, all hard floors, cat kibble, kids, and you don't want to overspend, you don't need a top-end Dyson
