Everytime I look for a new story I always find reused plots, especially reincarnation ones. I like them when they have a different twist to them but recently I haven’t found any.

I’m open to any genre as long as it’s something creative and unique like Marionetta. It’s sooo cool and the concept is one of a kind!

If you have any recommendations I’d appreciate it!

Been reading romance manhwa for years and some FLs (both in historical and modern stories) love to run away, while the MLs look for their "beloved". They eventually find their girls after years (who may or may not be raising their children). The MLs then take them back and then they live happily ever after.

Why do these girls stay single forever? They have left their previous relationships and ran away for a reason! Why can't they just get in another relationship or get remarried?

Can you guys give me some non-existent recommendations, where the girl will run away, start a new life before the ML finally finds her. I'm ready to get bashed in the comments.🙇🏻

I've never seen more chaos in a manhwa wedding! This manhwa had me cackling like an evil witch, giggling and rolling in my bed over how unhinged the characters are! The family dynamic, the sibling dynamic (might make a seperate post on that) and just the sheer amount of second hand embarassment moments in this one alone has this manhwa in my reread list..

Of course it is not a perfect manhwa with no plotholes, it does have it's flaws but that's not why I will be recommending it, this is for those who wish to have a good laugh while enjoying a good plot and the reversed roles of the leads, the fl basically is a knight in shining Armor who saves the ml from his tragic future.. she is strong, both physically and mentally (she's got a thick skull XD), absolutely clueless to the advances of the ml despite being a fan of erotic novels! It's absolutely hilarious!

Do give it a read if you haven't already! It's short with 64 chapters and no side stories yet!

Later the protagonist isekaid into that duke's body. In his previous life the protagonist was a "player" - not in a bad way, more like a "solo leveling" way? After the isekai, he completely changed and his wife got the treatment she deserved.

Maru is a Puppy was so funny and brightened my day whenever I read it. One thing that I really wished happened when I was reading it though was a romance between the girl and the neighbor. *not complaining, not everything needs to be romance*

Any recs that have the same sort of humor and slice of life feeling as Maru is a Puppy but with the romance element added?

Just like the title suggests. I would really appreciate it if any of you could suggest where the ML is poor, trash, or an employee, and where the FML is a queen or ceo or boss, or rich lady. I have been reading romance for a while, but the same trope where the male is a boss or ceo, kinda exhausting to a point. So I would like to get a fresh air. Anyways thanks in advance.

Counter argument i get is “she is complex” she is not. She is toxic. She never disappoints with her cruel, self pitying actions till the last panel.
Tell me a moment where you felt that she loved him? If i remember correctly, she expressed how she resented him for having a better upbringing. She got with him bc she believed no one would love her. (Self pity yawn)
You don’t get how horrible it is to be with someone for this reason. She doesn’t love him, she is attached to his love bc it VALIDATES her.

For the ones that call this a realistic story, why a man like him would go after someone who treats him like she does? They dont have nothing in common, in fact she finds him annoying.
He is so dumb and full of pity that instead of getting angry at her for hiding his kid and go to court for shared custody, he BEGS her for a chance to see his kid :D sir, just go to the nearest court.

Sorry, this couple makes no sense, nothing is realistic about them. Her poor upbringing isn’t an excuse for her terrible actions and staying in a relationship bc of insecurities rather than love.

No reasoning so far we got that explains why ml can’t live without her. Yeah she wanted to pair with him in middle school despite their height difference. :D wow

Overall, a story that lacked direction and depth. Main character had zero improvement. Male lead has no self respect nor critical thinking. (And is a clingy stalker) Both need therapy, and co parent their child like civil adults.

This might sound corny but these two webtoons have motivated me SO much to push myself and become the best version of myself

As someone who's in their last year of highschool, I've been working so hard for college entrance exams and these two webtoons were like a guest of fresh wind for me to work harder to get into my dream college. They both offer great romance plots and stuff but the way the authors show character development is genuinely crazy.

Just to be clear when I say they push me to work harder to get into my dream college, I'm not talking about the romance but rather how lively and plots like that of seonhui about how she was trying to find herself and overall just so many more amazing things.

I wish to see more pieces of fiction like these and I'm open to suggestions of all kinds :)

I don't know if I'm the only one who has noticed this, but I have always been bothered by the majority of webtoon commenters. Most of them seem to lack absolute media literacy and don't know how to reflect/critically think on what they consume.

I think this is such a prevalent behaviour, for webtoon commenters to consume and not think or reflect on it at all, because webtoons are generally easy to digest/understand. Unlike other types of media that REQUIRE critical thinking from the reader, most webtoons are easy to read, understand and, frankly, don't require critical thinking at all. However, in my opinion, this becomes an issue when webtoons that seek to present a deeper narrative, emotive, conflictive and not purely morally right, webtoon readers just can't digest that at all.

For some reason they will read it anyways, will not think critically about anything presented to them and proceed to hate/love characters as soon as they are shown on their screen, putting no effort to understand them, and get bored when the plot gets thick and comment "I just want to see [ex: main couple]". I'm currently re-reading The Fox Club, and it's so frustrating to see that the readers are not even trying to understand the story, which is deeper than most webtoons. My favorite, Pink Through The Night, also suffers from this, especially when it came to Oscar AND Luciana. It has happened since I can remember, that someone comment how they hate a character that was just presented and gets a bunch of likes.
