hello everyone, so for this school year i had a parent plus loan offered to me/my parents. however, it disappeared. my mom completed the form to apply and it has been ten days and there is still a registration hold on my account. i can’t call the financial aid office since it is labor day, and my second registration pass is tomorrow. i’m kinda freaking out. does anyone know what i could do?

Do you guys know the code for it (bus, stat, engl) to find it on the registration page? Or if there is a special link for it?

Hello I’m a first year student in CNAS (College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences) who took a gap year and is returning to school. I was looking at other people schedule similar to mine and was wondering if I should drop a class. During this month I’ve seen many people worried about their schedule and the more I look at mine it tells me that I should be worried. Taking Calc, Chem, and a Bio classes and labs seems beyond difficult for a first year who is returning to school. Resulting in having to take 16 units. Also Monday and Wednesday show that I would have straight classes from 12:00 to 5:50 with no break for a lunch or for rest.

This schedule was made by the advising office, so I worried to change it and be told something by the program advisor. Also I’m transferring over with 87 units from my dual enrollment classes, so I feel inclined to take less classes. So in your opinions should I drop a class or just leave it until the second week to decide to drop it. Also what is the process of talking with an advisor about this?

Should I drop my bio class?? Why does this look like it leaves me with no free time? I’m really worried I won’t be able to keep up with this, especially because I start at 9AM 4 days a week. Is it okay to drop one class to focus on social events and making friends for the first quarter?

Or a bike (fit for someone that’s 5ft)

Hello, I was wondering for the form labeled “CAPS Telemental Health Consent 25/26” on the student health portal there is a section to put contact information. On that section it asks for “ Please list your address you will use when receiving TeleMental Health Services at CAPS”, if i am dorming would i put the ucr dorm as my address or where i am currently living?

Does anyone know if you need an active parking permit to park at lot 18 during week 0? I got a permit but it isn't active until week 1.

I’m moving into an off campus apartment on Sept 8th in the afternoon and I was wondering if anyone would be available to help me unload my stuff from my car up to my apartment. its a bit of a challenge as I live on the third floor but its honestly maybe at most one hours worth of work and I can pay $100 for your time and effort :) Moving companies are ridiculously expensive and honestly I don't even have enough stuff to make a moving company worth it (no furniture or appliances, just moving bags and boxes). So I am currently trying to switch into EnvE from another major in BCOE. This advisor was SO quick to put me into a hold and telling me to clear it, then when I go through the exact process that I was directed to do, I started getting ghosted! A week later, I sent an email to BCOE advising as a whole and then the ENEN advisor finally responded, exaggerating my unit count, phrasing things to make me look lazy and impatient, and then told me he would forward my case to a “Major Change Coordinator”. Now I did some research and this seems like something made up to be honest. I decided to wait another week and do one more follow up and again, nothing. I also called and went in person. They were there, but the door was of course, locked and no drop ins are allowed. Now second pass is coming around and I can’t even switch around my major classes. Just this be a reminder if you want to change your majors in BCOE keep your mouth shut and do it yourself or let these people fuck it up. For anyone wondering this is Desmond to no surprise

I wanted to know if I would be eligible for CADAA and AB 540. I attended California public schools from elementary school through high school, including my freshman and sophomore years. I am currently attending high school outside of California, but I plan to return to California for my final semester of senior year and graduate from a California high school. This would give me about 2.5 years of California high-school attendance rather than the full three years.

Since I cannot complete the full three years of California high school, I am considering taking dual-enrollment classes at a Junior College during my final semester to make up the difference.

Would I be able to use JC dual-enrollment coursework toward the AB 540 three-year requirement?

 If so, how much coursework would I need to complete to make up for the missing time?

My family will remain in Texas while I return to California for my final semester. Would this affect my eligibility?

Hello, as an incoming second year student I bought a parking permit for North District 2 and charged the payment to student account online. It has been more than a week and that payment is yet to show on Rweb. Has anyone had this issue?

I bought concert tickets for a show inglewood a while ago and have been waiting for yearrsss to see them live. The problem is im taking anth002 and the first day of instruction starts at 6:30pm, but thats also the time the concert starts… what should I do? I really want to go to the concert, is there any way I could miss that first day lol
