I have 3 daughters, 14 - 11 - and 7.

I grow in my garage and am very open about it. Everything is totally legal here. I've elected to take the path of education and empowerment when it comes to talking to my kids about cannabis as opposed to "IF I EVER CATCH YOU SMOKING YOU'RE DEAD MEAT." And I don't hide it from them. Similar to how my dad educated me about alcohol growing up, I'm hoping that my approach will take away the urge to try it with their friends in the wild because it's not new and exciting since dad talks about it a lot. However, they're obviously not allowed to touch anything out there and/or consume anything.

My 14 year old is indifferent but my 11 year old is super interested in the plant. She asks a TON of questions about how it grows, the entire process from seed to cure, and lots of questions around how I consume it. (DHV vs bongs vs joints vs pressing rosin into dabs, etc.)

I've always told my girls "you don't get to smoke until you're 21 BUT if you ever get to a point where you're going to try it behind my back, talk to me first."

I was pretty shocked when my 11 year old came to me the other night and said she's super curious about trying it.

I told her no, citing the fact that she's only 11, and said I'd be more open to a single puff when she's a few years older.

This got me thinking though........ when is it ok to let her try?

When I used to drink beer, she asked for a sip and I let her try it. Just like my dad did for me several years ago. But obviously sipping cannabis is much more impactful as a single hit of my DHV will absolutely get her feeling it.

The answer is a standing no until she's a teenager. But....... If she comes to me and says "a friend offered it to me but I'd rather try it with you......" what's the move?

I am not educated on weed and have never tried it since its illegal in my country but I have a question: Alot of people say that you cant die because of weed and that there are 0 weed related deaths, so theoretically what would happen if you just like took hundreds of edibles (i think theyre called)? Will you die?

For everyone in Texas how are things going? I heard if you have 4 grams or more it can get you up to 20 years? And they go by full weight not the weight of the thc so if you have a thc pen and it’s almost out say it had a .1 left but the cart weighs 6 grams so you could get those 10-20 years in prison. absolutely crazy big alcohol is taking a massive hit and is not happy about it. I think it was between 20-400 grams and you can get life like wth how do Texas law makers see weed on the same level and actually worse than sexual assault I feel bad for everyone in Texas and hope things change soon!!!

Hi guys

So I'm retired and smoke weed all day every day. I usually alternate between bong, joints, and dry herb vape.

Anyways, for several years I was using an electric coffee grinder to bust up my weed because my wrists were too messed up for a manual grinder.

However, I recently went back to using a manual grinder because my wrists got better and I enjoy using one more than an electric one.

My grinder keeps jamming and clogging after a few days of use. I keep getting bits of weed that end up stuck and compressed on the outer rims of the grinder pieces where they overlap. So after a few days my grinder jams heavily and I clean it by soaking it in isopropyl alcohol for thirty minutes then scrubbing with a toothbrush.

Why does my grinder keep getting those itty bits of compressed weed on the rim that cause jams? I don't remember having to clean my grinder this often when I used it before my electric coffee grinder period.

Is there any work around?

A friend of my is growing some plants. And is not sure if the plant is ready to harvest? Some leaves are turning yellow one one. The planted back around May and it is just now hitting fall. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
