Devin Booker holds the arena scoring record in four different arenas, the third most in NBA history.
Devin Booker currently holds the arena scoring record in four different NBA arenas, the most among active players. In league history, only two players hold the scoring record at more arenas than Booker (primary arenas only, excluding secondary and neutral venues): Wilt Chamberlain and Michael Jordan.
Top 5:
Wilt Chamberlain - 16 scoring record
Michael Jordan - 5
Devin Booker - 4
Bob McAdoo - 3
Kobe Bryant - 3
George Gervin - 3
Elgin Baylor - 3
George Mikan - 3

Nostalgia When you wife forces you to clean out the attic
So I just found my old albums. They probably haven’t been opened in 25-30 years. First page had me grinning like the 10 year old I was, putting these in this binder.

Rant Is Sam Quinn the biggest Suns hater in sports media?
It’s ridiculous at this point. He has some good analysis on other teams, but I’ve never seen him say anything good about the Suns. Idk if Ishbia slept with his girl or what, but even after they were surprisingly good last year he still found a way to be negative. Only person that comes close is Hollinger.

Hoops Discussion Tom Chambers belongs in the Hall of Fame
deepbenchchronicles.comI’ve always put TC in the same group as Shawn Kemp, KJ, Mark Price, and even Laimbeer when it comes to notable HoF omissions (+Larry Nance?). Especially when you look at some of the players who are already in, like Tim Hardaway, Richmond, Webber, it’s hard for me to understand why Chambers is still on the outside.
He has 20,000+ points, 4 All-Star selections, 2 All-NBA teams. and won the 87 ASG MVP. At his peak in Phoenix, he averaged 26 points in 1988-89 and 27 the following season, helping the Suns reach back-to-back WCF. Obviously his case isn’t perfect he never made a first team, never won a championship, and his absolute peak wasn’t especially long. But when I look at some of the players who have made the Hall over the years, I have a hard time seeing TC as clearly below that line.
I dug pretty deeply into his career a while back, including the Hall of Fame question, if anyone wants the longer version:

Sh*tpost The Kawhi Clippers peak was losing to the Suns
After trading essentially 10 frp + MVP SGA for Kawhi + PG and trying to cheat their way to a title for the next 6 years…. it’s hilarious their absolute peak was losing in the 2021 WCF to the Suns.
A series we were told was them at their weakest, “just wait for Kawhi to come back, we got lucky!”Yet actually it was them at their strongest.
Bonus for Booker snatching their soul the year prior in 2020 with a buzzer beater before they would go on to a bubble 3-1 playoff collapse. And then after their WCF peak the next time they made the playoffs in 2024 the Suns sent them packing again.
Suns owned those cheaters
[Charania]: BREAKING: The NBA has ruled on the Los Angeles Clippers in for salary cap circumvention investigations on Kawhi Leonard after yearlong probe -- stripping the franchise of 5 first-round picks, issuing a $30 million fine to owner Steve Ballmer and suspensions for Ballmer, Lawrence Frank
Seems like the Clippers aren’t going to be a contender in the West for the next decade or so.

SHAZAM Devin Booker Superfractor One of One Card
galleryThis year Topps introduced the Living Set for the NBA, an ongoing card set that pays homage to the 1957-58 design with artwork, not photography. During the NBA season, Topps drop a new player in the set every week. The set features past and present stars in the league, and the inaugural release - card #1 was LeBron James.
Sometime later, card #21 of Devin Booker was available for a limited time this past March. The card features artwork that highlights one of purest jumpshots the game has ever seen and our newest city jersey. Had to have it!
Orders can be made in singles or by 5x, 10x, 20x “packs” with randomly inserted short print parallels. Essentially the more you buy, the greater odds. Here are chases:
• Background Variation Short Print
• Topps Chrome® Refractor Parallel
• Topps Chrome® Superfractor 1/1
I purchased ~ 100 cards in hopes to pull the 1/1 but I ended up with 2x Background Variation Short Prints. One of which I sold and nearly covered the cost of the order!
Though I missed my chance, I scoured the internet for the card hoping whoever landed it would be willing to let it go. And in May (two months after the release), I found it and secured my grail!
🔥 Anybody else order this set? Go Suns! 💜🧡

Can we talk about what the best version of 2 bugs could look like?
*edit-ugh. 2 bigs. Not bugs
Like if they ball out to the point of contender trajectory, what is that? Who is stepping up big, and how? What are the lineups?
I'd love to see this whiplash where the team leans big. But it only works if there's shooting.
I'd love a world where the following lineup is our best lineup because the requisite players took steps up.
Gillespie (24) book (36) brooks (30) Fleming (20) maluach (25)
Goodwin (14) green (28) bridges (28) Oso (20) williams (15)
In this world-
-Fleming is an excellent 3 and D player
-oso is a viable ft shooter
-maluach is the unicorn we were hoping for
-Gillespie levels up towards a poor man's nash
-book ups his 3 and defense
-Brooks has a viable passing rate
-williams stays healthy enough to be aggressive and active
-bridges and green are either both higher efficiency or can be flipped for a higher efficiency attacking perimeter player
-Goodwin just needs to be more of the same
To me, THAT team could compete for a title. Which means I'm hoping that 'player development coach' ott tries to move the team in this direction.
