Owner doesn't let us clock in on the POS system. We write out times on a time sheet and he rounds them. He says it's because if he lets us clock in we all have to do the official video training modules. My coworkers have said a couple times their payroll hasn't matched the timesheet. I haven't checked really yet. His listing for the position also has pay at a way higher rate than what we actually make. His listing was for 9.50-11. No one here makes 10/hr I make 8/hr. Employee of 10 years and our "manager" makes 9.75 I think. He says subway doesn't allow him to pay us more. I think it's a load of bullshit. Am I crazy? This feels so sketchy but everyone who works here has never questioned it.

Edit: I'm also pretty sure a coworker who works full time doesn't get any benefits or PTO....

I dont eat meat, I used to order a veggie delight.

Now I order, the meal of the day, minus meat. It's basically a veggie delight but less cost. The restaurant is making money on it because they get to keep the meat for another sandwich. I save a couple of bucks. Win win. Today a "manager" at my local subway decided I was running a scam on her store...how is taking less product (leaving meatballs off) scamming her?? She refused service. I drove a couple of miles to the next subway asked for the exact same thing and got it no question. Should I turn the crazy 'scam manager' in for lousy customer service?

I can take some crappy photo on my iPhone but it doesn’t justify or show the details of poor management at the highest level. I bit into a piece of bone in my chicken bacon ranch sandwich and nearly broke a tooth. It’s clear that it isn’t the franchisee’s fault, but a failure by corporate distributors. I live in Chile and I've been ordering my pizza sub for a few months now. I've noticed they don't put pizza sauce on it anymore. I'm embarrassed to ask why, but I find it curious, Besides, my usual places only allow a maximum of 3 sauces.

So I’m a manager at a subway and a couple people have left due to not having enough hours but just don’t understand why they would accept the job just to quit a month or two down the road during the interview and hiring process I’m extremely honest with people about how many hours and what their hourly pay is were a relatively slow store only making around 1,000 a day (we’re in a crappy hospital) the work load isn’t overwhelming and I feel it’s a pretty chill job for easy money I just don’t know where I’m going wrong

If I want to make it a meal; I usually get Doritos Nacho Cheese, a Pepsi, and a raspberry cheesecake cookie if I got a sweet tooth.

Does anybody have any audio recordings of these noises (The very annoying ones) that I could have? I would like to use them as my alarm sounds to get up from school, and ik it would work because I have literal nightmares about them! Thanks!

Our store is staffed with kids only 15-17yo and only one at a time doing 10+ hour shifts solo and they're running an hour or more behind on orders.

When paying at my local Subway, they always ask me if I want a receipt, and then print it out and give it to me.

Everywhere else they just hand you the receipt without asking. What gives?

Hi. I go to subway weekly and have gotten used to some of the weird actions the app does

Today I did a reorder of 2 sandwiches that I saved in my account. Ok so far. Same toppings, meats etc.

Before submitting the order I decided to change one of the sandwiches from foot long to 6 inch. The update was done and added to cart but then an error message appeared ‘please chose 3 proteins’. The sandwich I reduced In Size already had the usual meats, cheese, toppings. So I went back to the ordering screen and scrolled to try to add 3 proteins ( that the sandwich already had). Of the 3 options ham, bacon and turkey I was only allowed to select 2, when I tried to save and submit the same error kept being displayed. No other help menu or additional comments explained what was still wrong.
After several attempts, I gave up.

Anyone else have this issue?

This is my first actual 'taxes steals some of my paycheck' job!

As a 16 year old with severe ADHD, High functioning Autism, and borderline severe anxiety, some people may wonder 'Why would someone like me even apply to a place like Subway'.

Multiple answers. 1. My family has always pushed me to be social and deal with social interactions and helping people. 2. I'm am very medicated on Anderall (my savior) and Buspirone (my second savior), so thats makes my ADHD and Anxiety very manageable. Buspirone makes my anxiety not even their when I take it, except a small pit in my stomach is still their, and Adderall is very very very good.

And it was literally the only job that actually were hiring people and not just putting out hiring things and not hiring anyone.

I actually thrive in fast paced environments, and I love routines im forced to follow.

And its only part time, (im finishing high school a year early and I am already accepted to college for the fall of 2027), and I have a car i owe 3000 on and id like to get that paid off.

Also the Subway where I live is one of those Subways where no one gives af and the manager leaves 2 teenagers alone to manage the store while she 'clocks out' (but not really since shes can't' and leaves. Also, its the closest to the high school I used to go to (I HATE SCHOOL SO MUCH ARGGGGGGGHHHH) before I went online to Pennwood Cyber Charter School (which is like CCA online school basically but better in my opinion).

So I can't wait to be put on the schedule for over my maxed allowed hours for the week, (as a 16 year old minor in pa i can work 28 hours during the school week (Mon–Fri), plus up to 8 hours each on Saturday and Sunday (up to 44 hours total)), and to be running the store with some other teenagers (I dont know them yet). And how do I know this will happen, it always happens. And this subway is known for it in ny area but like no one cares tbh.

so yeah, long rant. But I start on Tuesday next week for training, and I hope everything goes good and I can memorize everything in a good timely manner. And I hope I dont make a damn goober out of myself (I have to keep all my strange habits to myself till I get home and im with my familyyyyy), but yeah know.

its going to be during the public school near mes time in school (11am) so no teenagers will be working during my training at subway. so it will literally be me, the manager, and maybe someone else.

Subway was my FAV. I literally used to eat here 2x a week minimum and could honestly say I maybe went to a different restaurant for friend purposes once a month. When I was pregnant, literally all I ate the first 2 weeks. And I mean daily.

Then they got rid of vinaigrette a few years ago and I cut back to like, 2x a month. Then yay, crunch was a thing! I was back to 4x a month just for that...then boom. Discontinued. They get me Everytime!

there is a 40% off a footlong sandwhich code and i'm trying to apply it to my footlong sandwich. the ONLY thing in my cart is literally a foot long sandwhich, and it keeps telling me 'Add the required items to your bag to apply this offer.'

not only that, but literally any other code still does the same. why is my footlong not a footlong? even the footlong699, footlong 799 code gives me the same damn error. subway, do you just want to bait me into thinking about your sandwhich and not actually give me the discount? none of the coupons have ever worked for me and i'm just tired of it.

for the record, i have tried all default sandwiches: cold cut trio, meatball, pizza, chicken etc.

I got ask by the owners if I would like to come back to help run the store during the mornings while they are on vacation until the end of the month. Always good to help out and be back on my old stomping grounds.

Every time you order a pickup order, they say it will be done by x time. Whenever you show up, if ANYONE is in line, or there's a line at all, your order will be skipped up until there is nobody else in store. What's the point of ordering ahead, or having a pickup time when it is never met? Or maybe it's just my local subway. So ridiculous

Trying to use this promo code on the subway.com/en-ca site, but it's only subtracting the value of a 6" ($6.19). Anyone know why this could be happening?
