If it's actually a single-player shooter not riddled with micro-transactions I am *SO* on board.

I'll be sad it's not an RTS (even though I know there is a 0% chance of another Starcraft RTS anytime in the next 10 years), but I'll be excited about another Starcraft game.

You *can* sell cosmetics in a single player game. And weapons and stuff. No multiplayer=>no pay to win issue=>You can actually sell pieces of gameplay.

I don’t mind cosmetics. As long as it’s not pay to win or progress faster. I spent who knows how much on World of Warcraft items in the shop when I still played a lot. They just made it more fun for me, not made my character better.

Sadly starcraft 3 is dead and i anticipate a MMO online PvP shooter loosely in starcraft universe full of micro-transactions and lootboxes etc

Would this be the lost starcraft ghost game? I doubt it but looks promising. Imagine a hard survival fps game, shooting down hoards of zerg. Would be nice

One of the issues with Starcraft: Ghost was that it was unclear if it was an action game or a stealth game. Players who wanted an action game were annoyed by stealth sections and vice versa.

Unless they find a way to reconcile that issue I doubt it's going to be like that.

I really think Single Player focused with Co-op campaign + halo/COD-style multiplayer is ideal. We don't need more live service games.

blizzards drm was always mp people wanted to participate with, maybe a pve coop shooter but pure sp seems very unlikely
