Squirrel war

Why squirrels? Whyyyyyyy. They ate my Christmas lights in the back so I stopped putting them up there. Fine. But now this? Now it’s personal.

Same happened to my Christmas lights. Must be the new wiring insulation that is made from plant based materials; probably tastier than insulation made from petroleum derived products.

I did what I could, even tried treating the wire with a capsicum material, but they still chewed them to hell.

Hungry or not, squirrels will simply chew on anything. Their teeth are always growing, and chewing on any item helps them to naturally keep that growth under control. This is a good example of learning what they'll chew on around your home.
