I was sitting in a park under a tree, and I felt warm liquid falling on me. I looked up, and there was a squirrel. I was surprised by the volume of liquid. The urine smelled like fish, not like my experience of mouse pee in a house or the urine of caged pet rodents, which smells more ammonia-like. I had to walk home a long way with squirrel pee on my arm, shirt, and shorts. I was able to tell some family members IRL, but I still felt the need to share it with Reddit. I tried to post it in r/PointlessStories, but you can’t mention pee in that group, so here I am.

A new red squirrel came to us recently! He's quite cautious and first checks whether everything is safe. Even a thoroughly selected hazelnut should be carefully inspected! Any ideas how should we call the guy?

I absolutely love the face she trusts me enough to hang out and eat for a while with her back to me!! She’s had a rough few weeks because she’s gonna have babies again plus she has an injured tail and ear currently :(

I know I made a lot of mistakes when I started feeding my squirrels a year ago. I wanted to pass along what I felt are the healthiest 3 nuts. This is just my opinion, you are welcome to yours. Of course, some may argue that they shouldn't be fed nuts or that humans shouldn't be feeding wildlife. I respect your opinion.

Why squirrels? Whyyyyyyy. They ate my Christmas lights in the back so I stopped putting them up there. Fine. But now this? Now it’s personal.
