I've been working on something for the last few months and I think it's finally at the point where I should start putting it in front of real people.

It's called UnreaX.

The basic idea is an AI platform that lets you create real-time conversational experiences using voice, video and AI avatars.

But the avatar itself isn't really the product.

What I'm trying to build is a system where the AI can have a conversation, perform a specific task, and then turn that interaction into useful, structured information.

For example, you could create an experience for:

• Candidate interviews
• Initial candidate screening
• Employee training
• Onboarding
• Customer-service simulations
• Knowledge assistants
• Education
• Sales roleplay
• Any process that involves repetitive conversations or evaluations

You can define what the experience is supposed to accomplish, configure the conversation, and provide your own documents/knowledge so the AI can work with company-specific information.

Then someone interacts with the avatar through voice and video.

After the conversation, UnreaX can analyze the interaction according to criteria relevant to that particular experience.

Things like:

• What the person actually answered
• Quality and consistency of the answers
• Communication and fluency
• Assertiveness
• Conversational behavior
• Other criteria defined for the specific use case

So the workflow I'm aiming for is basically:

Person → AI conversation → Analysis → Structured results

Rather than:

Person → conversation → transcript → someone manually reviews everything

I'm particularly interested in the idea that the same underlying platform could work across different industries simply by changing the objective, knowledge base, conversation flow and evaluation criteria.

It's currently in Beta / Early Access, and I'm looking for the first people and companies willing to actually test it.

I'm building this from the ground up, so I'm especially interested in hearing what you would actually use something like this for.

The idea is in the personal finance space. I am deliberately not going into the mechanics of how it works because the solution is not what I want feedback on yet. What I need to know first is whether the problem genuinely frustrates real people or whether I have spent six months caring deeply about something nobody else thinks about.
The page took a weekend. The four survey questions took longer than the rest of it combined because I kept writing them in a way that nudged people toward saying yes. Not sure I fully fixed that.

What I am actually trying to figure out from this community is whether anyone here has gone this route before writing any code and whether the responses you got from a validation page actually predicted how people used the real product when it existed.

Hi there devs and builders, as you've read in the title, I'm currently building a sort of aggregator for the most important programming languages, with fun lessons that you can learn to replace having 20+ tabs open when learning coding concepts.

It also features projects to implement from beginner to advanced, and they are specific to some frameworks/languages and technologies, and also explain exactly how you need to build them. I've just implemented a small feature where you can copy the requirements of the sidebar project and drop it into any AI agent you want, and the prompt encourages it to become a teacher that walks you through the implementation, step-by step.

The purpose of this is to be able to always get ideas of what to build, directly from your browser, and the target audience here is mostly CS students, devs that are looking to convert to a new language and want small, focused lessons, or even self-taught builders. People that are extremely passionate can even read research papers on ML and Deep Learning subjects inside it, and summarize them with AI.

If you use extensions regularly, or if you are a dev/student and would use this, I actually want the honest take:

• Is a side panel the right surface for this project, or should I make it a popup / new-tab?
• does the copy-to-agent thing feel useful, or is it like just giving the project away for the AI to create, and you learn nothing?
• what courses or lessons, or even examples would you want here, to actually start learning like this in your browser?

I realized that when it's 6 AM in the US, it's the middle of the afternoon for me here in India.

I'm thinking of starting a very simple service: I will literally spam-call busy professionals on WhatsApp until they wake up and send me a photo of them drinking a glass of water or standing outside their bed.

People easily snooze regular alarms, but they can't snooze a real, persistent human who won't hang up.

Do you guys think people would pay $10/week for this? I want to test this out on 3-4 people for FREE just to see if the model actually works before I try to build a website or anything.

My girlfriend refused to use telegram because it’s “ a sketchy Russian drug website” and I had so many funny stickers there and not being able to use them made me feel an unfun person and transferring them manually is such a painstaking work so I created an instrument that would solve this problem.

What it does: paste a Telegram sticker pack link → it converts and imports the pack straight into WhatsApp's native sticker format. No bots, no manual WEBP conversion.
Why I built it: half my contacts are on Telegram, half on WhatsApp, and every time a great sticker pack showed up in a Telegram group I had no clean way to actually use it on the WhatsApp side. Turns out this is a pretty common complaint — there's a surprising number of "how to move Telegram stickers to WhatsApp" guides out there, all describing a clunky multi-app workaround.
Stack: React Native / Expo, a native Swift module for the WhatsApp sticker keyboard extension, RevenueCat for the one-time "remove ads" purchase, AdMob for the free tier.
Model: free with a rewarded ad per export, or a one-time $4.99 unlock. No subscription, no account.
Still very early — 26 organic installs so far and I haven't done any marketing yet. Would love feedback, especially from anyone who's tried similar cross-platform sticker tools before.

I built a small agent skill for steampunk image restyles and open-sourced it.

The point was to stop the usual "add goggles and call it steampunk" look. Restyle keeps the same composition and subject, rebuilds materials in brass/copper/iron, and locks in one readable mechanism. There is also an avatar mode that survives a circular crop, and a poster mode for Victorian engineering plates.

I built an iPhone app for people who want to track food but hate searching databases or typing ingredients.

You take a photo of a meal, and it estimates calories, protein, carbs, and fat. You can also type something like “two eggs and toast.”

It supports English, Russian, and Uzbek, has no ads, and includes a 3-day free trial. The estimates are meant as guidance, not medical advice or lab-accurate measurement.

I really like the visual language of GitHub’s contribution calendar, so I made a tool that lets you use it beyond GitHub.

Type any words you like, your name, username, a phrase, a tagline, literally whatever, and it generates it as a contribution-graph-style visual that you can download.

every ad business has basically the same incentive

get someone's attention, keep it for as long as possible, then sell access to it

which is kind of insane when you think about how many products are now being built to help us undo exactly that

so i've been building something with the incentive flipped around

instead of a company paying to interrupt you, they pay you to go away and focus.

you choose something you want to work on, start a focus session, and your distracting apps get blocked.

a sponsor backs the session.

finish it and you get a small reward. right now i'm testing €0.10 for 25 minutes.

the sponsor isn't sitting on the screen for those 25 minutes. you see who backed the session before you start, then again when you're done.

basically:

normal advertising:

“stop what you're doing and look at us”

what i'm testing:

“go do what you were supposed to do. this one's on us.”

i have no idea yet if the economics actually work.

there's a pretty obvious problem on the user side: is 10-20 cents enough to change someone's behavior, or is it just pointless?

then there's the other side: is being associated with someone's productive time actually valuable enough that a company would pay for it?

and of course the moment money is involved you have to deal with people trying to farm it.

but i think that's why i want to test it instead of just building another subscription focus app.

There are several tools that can tell you something is malicious but not helping you once you have done the mistake.

The big companies have the Security Teams/SOC Teams telling them what to do but what about small teams or regular people? They are not prepared to face this types of scenarios.

Then, I decided to build the platform nervair.one, where you can find in one place processes to analyze text, URLs or screenshots (I will implement the analysis of files and emails). Also, you can use the platform in case you have made any mistake already and you do not know what to do. The platform will help you, preparing a task list based on your case.

I have also integrated different functions like (some of them are for the "pro" version):

- Email breach monitoring.

- General Security Assessment, to check your security posture.

- Threat feed, where you can see the latest phishing trends.

I thought AI video pricing was a spreadsheet problem.

Then I tried to answer one stupidly simple question:

“What will this finished clip actually cost?”

That question got weird fast.

One platform counts credits. Another counts seconds. Another changes the rate with resolution. Then there are retries, reference images, audio, aspect ratio, plan limits, and the small detail that “24 outputs” does not always mean 24 usable outputs.

At some point I realized I wasn’t comparing prices anymore. I was comparing different definitions of “video.”

It turns a workflow into an estimate for a usable, platform-ready video. You choose the workflow and constraints, and it keeps the messy parts visible: retries, resolution, aspect ratio, audio, commercial-use rules, and whether the public source actually confirms the relevant price field.

The least exciting feature is the one I trust most: if a source doesn’t clearly expose a price, VidPare doesn’t fill in the blank and pretend it knows. It flags the uncertainty.

I’m not trying to build another 1–5 star AI video leaderboard. I wanted an answer to:

“If I need 24 usable outputs at 10 seconds, 720p, 9:16, what should I budget before I press generate?”

If you make AI video, which input keeps ambushing your budget — credits, retries, audio, reference images, resolution, or something else?

The ugly edge cases are probably more useful than another ranking.

I've been playing around with AI coding tools for a while, and there's something I've noticed.

Tools like Replit, Emergent, Hostinger Horizons, etc. are getting really good at taking an idea and turning it into an actual app. That's honestly pretty cool.

But I kept wondering — what if I don't want the tool to build the whole thing?

Sometimes I just want to go from:

"I have this idea" → "Okay, here's a clean starting repo, now I'll take it from here."

So I started building InitProjectBuilder.

It takes an idea and creates an initial repository that you can download and continue working on yourself. But the part I'm most interested in is making the output easy for AI coding agents to pick up and continue.

Basically, I don't want the repo to be a dead-end generated project. I want to be able to take it into another coding agent and say "here, continue building this" without the agent spending half its time figuring out what the project is supposed to be.

So the idea is less:

Idea → AI builds everything

and more:

Idea → InitProjectBuilder → agent-friendly repo → build it wherever you want

It's still pretty early, but I'm curious what you guys think.

I used to work in Gametech many years ago. I’ve been building Hajimete3D using Astra, and I’d love feedback from people outside my own bubble.

You can start with a sketch, upload an image, or describe a character. The app can generate artwork and turn it into a textured 3D model you can rotate and download. We’ve also added an API and a local MCP connector.

What feels useful, what’s confusing, and what would stop you from trying it?

Free GPUs on Kaggle and Colab are excellent. Turning a real research or production-style repo into something that actually runs on them is still a pain.

You either:

- Manually copy-paste files into cells

- Clone the repo inside the notebook and immediately hit missing imports, broken paths, indentation issues, etc.

- Zip and upload as a dataset (solves the clone problem but not the config/iteration problem)

- End up with a notebook history that is pure garbage because the project was never meant to live as a notebook

None of this is hard. It’s just tedious and eats an evening for no good reason.

So I built repo2nb.

It’s a small tool that converts a normal repo into a clean, self-contained, runnable notebook automatically. It detects imports and dependencies, structures everything correctly, supports two-way sync with the source repo, and is designed so you can point the result at Kaggle or Colab and just run.

The CLI is the core... I built that part myself. No shortcuts. That’s the engine.

On top of it there’s a simple web UI for people who don’t want to touch a terminal for a one-off conversion. I’m not a web dev, so I vibe-coded the UI and just directed the feature set. It runs offline once you open it (caches via WebAssembly / service workers), and no code leaves your machine until you decide to upload the finished notebook to Kaggle.

It’s a niche problem, but it already solved real friction for people at my college.

Currently sitting at ~18 stars. I’d genuinely like more eyes on it, both “does this actually solve the problem for you?” and “here’s what’s broken / ugly / missing” on either the CLI or the web side.

I'm building Arkonis as a founder-led consultancy for independent hotels and small regional hotel groups. One recurring problem is that the PMS, POS, channel manager, finance system, payroll, and spreadsheets can all produce plausible but conflicting answers.

I built a five-minute scorecard to make that problem easier to inspect before anyone buys another dashboard.

- 15 statements across five dimensions: revenue decisions, staffing and operations, purchasing and cost control, reporting reliability, and decision ownership

- Equal-weight scoring with the calculation and limitations published on the page

- Answers stay in the browser; the tool makes no external API calls

- No signup or lead capture

I'd value feedback on the model and the privacy approach. Is there a dimension you would split or weight differently?

I was saving more than 20 articles a week and repeating the same loop: copy the URL, switch to Notion, find the database, paste, add properties, return to the original app.

I built NotionShare to turn that into a native Mac action. It saves links, clean full articles, images, screenshots, exported email files, and contacts into a Notion page or database you choose. Direct Save is free; Pro Forms remember a destination and map extracted content into properties.

The hardest product decision was keeping quick capture simple while still supporting structured workflows. I landed on free direct saving and optional $4.99/month Forms.

I recently launched Moviender, a movie & TV discovery app I built around a problem I kept running into: opening a streaming service, scrolling forever, and still having no idea what to watch.

Instead of another huge catalog, Moviender turns discovery into simple decisions:

There are also two discovery modes:
Find Something lets you narrow things down by genre, rating, release date, country, language and more.

Surprise Me is for when you don’t even want to make those choices — just start swiping and see what catches your attention.

I built the app with React Native + Expo + TypeScript, with Trakt powering the movie and TV data. It’s currently available on iOS.

This is the first public version, so I’d genuinely appreciate feedback — especially on the discovery/swipe concept and anything that feels confusing or unnecessary.
