Geographical map of all high-speed and conventional long-distance services in my current OpenTTD map (see link below to compare network before high-speed lines were built).

Black = high-speed; blue = intercity; purple = interregional. Here is a map showing long-distance services before the high-speed lines were constructed. Local services and stations are not shown on these maps.

Thanks. I made this using Inkscape. I just drew on top of a screenshot of the minimap.

Your map looks amazing, do you still remember the settings you used for generating the map? Is it even a default map with tweaked settings or a custom map?

From what I can see from settings, it's 1024x1024, TerraGenesis, alpinist, rough terrain, very high variety distribution, many rivers.

Don't remember sea level, but probably easy to work out by testing what looks similar. I did a lot of terraforming though because authorities' attitudes are set to 'permissive', so I can do a lot and they won't get angry at all.

Town density I think was high, but might have been medium. I founded a few towns myself, so it's hard to tell. I also disabled the ability for towns to build roads, so I did all the road building, and thus towns grew to look the way I designed them.

Can you please share a save file so one can open it on the map editor and reset all user/company constructions. I really dig the layout of that map and would like to give it a go...
