Litter-Robot 3 Can there be any other cause to blinking blue lights besides faulty DFI sensors?

Randomly, the litter robot stopped working and has a blinking blue light. Pressing reset, power, cycle, none of the buttons work. I cleaned out the metal sensor of the DFI and nothing. Just when I plug in, it'll cylce through the buttons then stop at the blinking blue light.

Befoer I spend money on a DFI replacement, can there be any other reasons that I can try to diagnose a blinking blue light with no other buttons responding?

What metal sensor are you referring to? It sounds like you might be referencing the 2 metal pinch detect pins?

Hello, u/Embarrassed-Wolf-609! That is a great question, and we would be happy to provide you with an answer! If the light pattern is blinking blue, that would mean it is triggering the drawer full indication. If you are ever curious of the light patterns and what they mean, we do have a resource for that! It can be found here: Litter-Robot 3: Buttons and lights. If you would need assistance on getting the error cleared, please chat into us here on Reddit! We will nee your serial number, and we can help with the steps to clear the issue with you! We hope this helps. 😺
