There's a place here with the Tintin Moon Rocket Ideas set (21367) for 40% off, and I can't make up my mind about it.

It looks great, and I remember enjoying Tintin comics as a kid. The only other Lego set I keep assembled and on display is the NASA Saturn V Rocket (92176), and I think this playful rocket would be a good match for it.

But then, I'm not all that sure that I want to pay for it, except I do want to pay for it, but but but but but...

Convince me not to buy it (or at least give me bad reasons I can explain away).

Flimsy excuses to buy it are also welcome.

I'm a huge Star Fox fan, and I've always thought the Great Fox would look so cool in LEGO! I'm so happy with how it turned out. It's up on LEGO Ideas now, and it just passed its first milestone!

I know there have been some discussions about his face and expression… but what really drives me crazy is how that figure, especially the head is looking from the side/in portrait…

I found a few more boxes I saved as a kid and a booklet that was quite funny. Honestly the prices for Legos actually have not increased much in price at all since the mid 90's.

I recently heard that the 14K solid gold 2x4 LEGO brick is considered the rarest LEGO piece ever made.

Apparently, these were given to some LEGO employees as a 25-year service award around 1979–1981.

But is it actually the rarest LEGO piece?

Are there any prototypes, misprints, production errors, or other extremely limited pieces that are even rarer?

The old western minifigs are so awesome.

After making a full interior on the first floor I just made the other floors facades, then to hide the fact there is nothing inside I added paper curtains.

Lego minifigs have paper capes so is this kind of mixed media acceptable or should have I have tried to make Lego curtains?

I never got into Lego before and snagged this from Wegmans randomly because I want more Halloween stuff up in the house. I was completely locked in and felt good completing tasks and turning the page. Pretty sure I have undiagnosed ADHD and this felt like it slowed my brain down. Will be purchasing more.

Interesting how we are already getting a few of these such as Jumanji.

Recently picked this one up and had to find a way to display it.

My luck has been horrendous. So i bought 20 minifigs online from the lego store. (3 boxes of 6 and 2 singles.) The two singles? Both Farquaad.

The 3 boxes? All of them the exact same minifigs. Gingy, Farquaad, Fiona, the Dragon, Pinnochio, and the Big Bad Wolf.

Oh well. Don't think i'll be buying more unless it's a full set on ebay lol.

Was I really unlucky or is this common?
