i will say tho it has a ps2 era charm to it since it was so early on in the ps3's life cycle

Recently read the comics and they are really good, I won't get into details in case someone hasn't read them yet (and I highly recommend you do if you're an Infamous fan) but they serve as an excellent bridge proceeding the events of Infamous 1. This got me thinking about if Infamous were to end up becoming a show to introduce people to the older games of the series in the Modern Age

So my question is this, if they were to end up adapting Infamous into a show, would you support it? Would you watch it? And if so, what would you want it to be like?

Question is, do you remember HOW many times you've replayed the games? Because I have. I replayed inFAMOUS 1 and 2 about 35 times. Replayed Second Son a good 5 times and platinumed it. But I'm still yet to play First Light once.

I'm a huge infamous second son fan, and I love checking the concept and finding pieces that i rarely see.

I found these very interesting early versions of Delsin by concept artist Horia Dociu, you can find a lot of amazing art in his portfolio.

Hello guys, I have been trying to free this area in infamous 2 for ages now and i never get any enemies to spawn there... Am I missing something? Thanks in advance

I recently got into infamous due to hearing about the ugc closure and was able to snag those trophies and 100% festival of blood & getting 61% on my first playthrough of a good karma run

But I hit an exp deadzone, I idiotically completed all the territories, missions, so on and so on so I have very little exp to get the last amount needed for the level 3 passive powers like blast shard sense while having like 20 or so blast shards left idk what to do

Do I find a blast shard map and just go through the entire map piece by piece and farm what enemies I can and if it isn't enough by the time I get the blast shard trophy just farm it during my evil playthrough?

ok so now i'm playing infamous 2 and I'M LOVING IT. and i'm loving it because it doesn't have many of the things i hated of the first game.

unfair enemies, weird combat system, etc.
BUT WHAT I WANNA KNOW, is if someone else felt the story fell off on the final arc? LIKE, the first half of the game i felt amazing, it was like if chronicle was a videogame I LOVED IT. but then after zeke got the sphere... it fell... hard.
EVERYTHING HAPPENED SO FAST THAT I BARELY HAD ANY TIME TO PROCESS IT. PUM zeke betrayal, PUM alden fight, but you can't kill him even if he was annoying af, PUM now trish gets slimed, PUM now to speed run the search for the sphere, PUM NOW A FUCKING FULL SCALE WAR ON EMPIRE CITY WHERE THE SONS AND COLE WITH JOHN COMMIT WAR CRIMES, PUM WE FIND THE SPHERE SURPRISINGLY EASY (amazing how was more difficult to defend trish's truck than getting the MAIN THING OF ALL THE GAME), PUM JOHN GETS SLIMED BY THE SPHERE, AND IN THE END YOU GOTTA BELIEVE KESSLER WAS COLE AND THAT HE CAN JUST... BLIP TO THE PAST???

yeah i mean, i can understand why the game was so successful back then and MAYBE the story was mindblowing back then, but now... is... interesting. THO the gameplay is amazing, i loved the parkour, the powers were fun, tho it was unfair af that the enemies had aimbot, but meh. what do you think? you also think infamous 1 story is rushed in the end?

Found some unused concept art for inFAMOUS Second Son, and it’s honestly crazy seeing how different the game could’ve been. There were powers we never got, like Glass and Copper, and they seem completely different from each other. Copper especially looks super interesting—the concepts make it seem like it could’ve had some really unique abilities and visuals. I remember hearing about these powers after Second Son came out, when people were talking about possible DLC, and I thought they sounded kind of lame. But after actually seeing the concepts, they look so fire.
Seattle also seems like it was originally going to be more futuristic and much more developed around the different powers. What’s crazy is how much of the city looks like it would’ve been completely terraformed by Concrete. Instead of Concrete just being something the DUP uses, it looks like Augustine’s power could’ve physically reshaped huge parts of Seattle. That would’ve made the city itself feel like a reflection of how powerful she was.
One of the biggest things that stood out to me was Augustine’s original boss fight. It looks like she could’ve fought you in the sky while using the entire city as her battlefield. That would’ve done a much better job showing just how powerful she actually was. Her final fight in the game always felt underwhelming to me, especially compared to what they apparently had in mind.
There’s also concept art for what looks like a Glass Conduit, although maybe they called it Crystal at the time. That whole idea looks incredible. It seems like she would’ve had her own territory and unique enemy types too, which is something I think Second Son was missing. There are concepts showing different powers having their own areas of the city, which could’ve made Seattle feel much more varied and alive.
Another interesting thing is Eugene. I’m guessing he might’ve been added later in development because I could barely find anything early on related to Video. Most of the early concepts I found revolve around Smoke, Concrete, Neon, Paper, Glass, and Copper.
Seeing all of this makes me think Second Son had way more potential than what we ended up getting. It feels like the original vision would’ve been much bigger, with more powers, different enemy factions, entire parts of Seattle being transformed by Conduits, longer-range battles, and more depth like inFAMOUS 1 and 2. Even after all these years, I still can’t get over how crazy that original Augustine fight could’ve been.

Playing through the game again I’m at the section where you power up flood town. My game becomes extremely laggy and has now frozen Cole permanently running in place. Could this be an issue with my disc? Game ran fine until I went towards flood town. Would me crossing the bridge prior to this mission corrupt the file in anyway?
