I hate games that start with a gameplay section/cinematic instead of the menu
What if I’m launching the game and letting my pc render the assets so I can have a smooth gameplay? Or want to change the sound? Or the resolution? Or pressed “launch as soon as the game is installed” and being away from the pc to bring myself a snack so now I just missed it?

I HATE stubborn,ignorant stuck-up prudes.
You give them a million pieces of evidence proving them wrong(hyperbole is being used here!) but "oh what about this cherry picked research paper that doesn't even fucking say anything just that im not necessarily wrong so I am right you are wrong" NO?! LIKE HOLY SHIT IT PISSES ME OFF!! THEY KEEP ON SPITTING ACTUAL LIES,COMPLETELY FABRICATED BULLSHIT JUST TO KEEP TRICKING IMPRESSIONABLE,UNKNOWING PEOPLE TO FOLLOW WHATEVER AGENDA THEY HAVE! AND THEN SOMEHOW,ALWAYS,EVERYONE AGREES WITH THEM AND YOURE WRONG EVEN WHEN ITS IN PLAIN SIGHT,WITH THE MOST BASIC CHAINS OF LOGIC REQUIRED TO REALISE WHO IS CORRECT BUT NOOOO SOMEHOW THEIR MENTAL ACROBATICS IS MORE AGREED UPON BY OTHERS! SO MANY TIMES PEOPLE SPITTING BATSHIT STUPID THINGS ARE AGREED WITH MORE THAN THE PERSON WHO ACTUALLY MAKES SENSE(Doesn't just happen to me,I see it happening all the fucking time)! And the nail in the coffin is that when its finally proven that you were right all along, nobody admits it and keeps saying the exact same "oh they just didn't know" IF THEY DIDNT KNOW WHY WERE THEY PUSHING AGENDA?!
Edit: No i am not into loli how tf did you guys get that??

I hate it when people compare Dispatch to Twilight
I'm sick of people saying that Dispatch is the male Twilight. I was trying to show my sister this game and she deadass said "Oh, the 'Twilight for dudes' game?" and that got my blood boiling.
I get the romance in that game is kinda ass, but the romance wasn't the entire focus. That is literally the only parallel. A bad romance plot with a nice person and a mean person. Everything else has no correlation with each other.

I hate when a “animal lover” only likes or cares about an animal if they think it’s “cute”
It feels very counterintuitive because to be an animal lover, you need to love every single specimen and every single type of animal that exists.
Unfortunately insects are given the short end of the stick most of the time and it sucks too because without most insects, this beautiful planet would lose most of the stuff that makes it so precious to us. Insects that are decomposers, pollinators, and so much more insects work so hard to make forests and the planet a better place.
So if you go around, only caring about animals you think are cute, and immediately switch up your attitude when an insect or reptile is at the same area as you, please reconsider your life choices.

I hate this ai-generated anime
Obviously, I am not hating on Hitoner; it's an amazing manga. I am hating on this ai-generated "animation" of the manga. It's the first result on YouTube when you look up "Hitoner," and it does not indicate in the title or thumbnail that it is AI. mfw blatantly stealing someone else's intellectual property and then beep-boopifying it

This is why I hate current Peter Griffin. (LONG POST BUT HAS A SUMMARY)
I’m going to be making multiple of these, but right now I’m starting with Peter Griffin. If you think otherwise, I don’t care. I don’t mean that in a malicious way, I mean I don’t care if you think otherwise because it’s what you think of the show. I don’t mind. This is just what I think.
Peter Griffin was introduced as a loving father who generally isn’t that suited to be one. He was dangerously stupid but he had mind in the right place and his references of TV shows and movies in his back pocket. The family guy who would love his wife and children and wouldn’t frequently make it this uncomfortable relationship, and instead be a dimwit father who had a generally good heart, and if not to all the people that lived in Quahog, it was especially to his family. That doesn’t mean he was amazing to his family, no. He would definitely make mistakes that would be usually for comedic purposes like his obsessions or spikes of overexcitement. Some examples off the top of my head are shooting Lois with a tank, nearly exploding her, avoiding saying “I love you.” to Meg despite it being said earlier in the show, making Meg a “fart smeller”, attempting to do red neck stuff to Meg, believing a horrible reason to love his daughter more, beating up a 15 year old boy, etc that is obviously existent but I cannot name.
The thing is that, despite his radical approach to comedy that isn’t necessarily seen in other adult comedies, he still kept the recognizable sense of morality that made him such a dumb but well-intentioned figure to the audience. He had more moments where you could see that he knows he is a father, a husband, and a friend. He would learn from his mistakes and was willing to change if it meant being better at something big or small. This is something specifically that I find extremely relatable in a interesting way. Lessons were learned, and that there wasn’t only a mirror held up to society saying “You’re ugly and we know it too.” but also a man(or dog, baby, mom, or daughter) who learned something that episode. Not every episode, but that time. Some examples are Pete settling down on his alcohol consumption, making his wife happy anytime she is sad, saving his wife from the Mafia and was willing to sacrifice himself in her place, or even going out to beat a celebrity for the sake of his daughter.
But, the longer we go, the further we notice that Peter Griffin changes, a lot. The father figure and loving husband that we once knew was well intentioned just turned into a dangerous man on the spectrum. Peter Griffin nowadays is completely comfortable with saying he hates his family, and doesn’t care much for their safety, and has the audacity to make excuses for almost getting them killed instead of apologizing. Along with the funny writers without the hit or misses, current Peter has lost all of his feel so hard, it’s almost hard to describe, or at least mention all at once, but let’s start here.
He is a horrible person now. He traded ALL of his development and even the morals and values he had since the pilot for hit or miss jokes targeted to teenagers. Their excuse? Adults don’t watch the show anymore. All the 40%(at that time) of the audience are teenagers, let’s avoid 100’s of the good movies we watched and move on to social media and what teenagers are into and ruin our main characters. Sorry, just had to vent, don’t worry that will be another discussion.
Anyway he’s a horrible person. Some examples? Destroying Brian’s face over a dog toy rope, crushing a kids head in for a jetski to move 6 feet, teleporting out of his own car to move to another car just to watch TV, completely abandoning and endangering his family, shooting Meg, saying he hates his own family just through a few interactions, etc which I cannot name(but trust me, there’s more). He is willing to put everyone in danger for shenanigans or not. The worst part? HE LEARNS NOTHING, BARELY ANYTHING MEANINGFUL IS PICKED UP!
You know how I said in the 2nd paragraph that “Lessons were learned, and that there wasn’t only a mirror held up to society saying “You’re ugly and we know it too.” but also a man(or dog, baby, mom, or daughter) who learned something that episode. Not every episode, but that time.”
right? Yeah well recently the most meaningful thing Peter has learned recently in the past few seasons is that he shouldn’t break his friendship for spoiled friends that wanted a piece of the cash that could be rewarded for selling a rare action figure that literally came from his butt. Yes, that’s right, his butt. That’s not problem though, it’s that he isn’t given any good lessons to learn, much less we could take in. Why would we learn that friendship is more than value if the friends were being spoiled over money?
I admire the visible attempts, it feels so bland seeing the new ways that the writers are trying to make lessons in the new family guy. This is just ONE example btw, I’m too tired to make more.
In conclusion, Big Pete has suffered a horrible strike of flanderization that has overall ruined his character. If I were to attempt to improve his character, I would start with small gestures of affection towards his family and having him find more touching messages of his experiences. Trying to help out Chris with his homework, willing(but hesitant) to help Meg with her school problems, being more worried about how Lois thinks, being more hesitant about the idea of inflicting needless harm, feeling more struggle to reach the solution to the conflict of the episode and having the story acknowledge the tone of the situation and be a little more subtle with the jokes during that moment. Not anything that completely 180s his current character, but subtle nudges into a direction that seems more appropriate for a family guy, a man who is willing to put sacrifices at hand in extreme situations.
Thank you for reading this all, and goodnight, Reddit.
I know, long conclusion, right? That’s why I made a summary of the post down there👇
In short, Peter Griffin suffers from flanderization that made him a almost unrecognizable character compared to his earlier seasons, although I do believe that he is capable of being written to be morally correct if they put more effort to show his wellbeing.

I hate Reddit notifications about someone replying someone who replied to you
It doesn’t even fucking highlight the response-to-the-response comment when I click the notification. And it doesn’t even matter to me! Like I’m not even talking to this person
edit: and while we’re at it, youtube does the same thing, but it’s even worse because it’s replies to a comment that YOU replied to! like i don’t give a fuck what 30 bots have to say to the guy i responded to 3 days ago

I hate the tactic of shifting goalposts from "that never happens" to "who cares"
It's only manipulative bullshit from pathetic loser redditors who know they're wrong but are too fucking pretentious to ever admit it. They start with flat-out denial because they assume you won't have proof. The second you bring receipt after receipt, they just change their monolithic NPC response to "it's rare", then "who cares lol" and finally settle on their generic, mindless rhetoric.
When they have zero actual logical arguments left to hide behind, they go straight to infantilizing you and treating you like piss so they can pretend they "won" the interaction while never giving a fuck about the actual argument.
The entire point of this is to piss you off until you walk away out of frustration, allowing them to sit back and pretend their original gaslighting bullshit was valid all along.

I hate how people think children can't have it hard or have trauma.
As a person who has a high chance of having CPTSD (not diagnosed) and is under 18, i HATE it when people think children can't struggle or have trauma or PTSD, etc etc. It's just so insulting that just because a person is young that they "can't possibly have trauma" do you hear yourself?! I'm honestly so sick of this, it just makes people with trauma feel disregarded and feel like their trauma isn't real.

I hate games that come with DLCs that make the game super-easy to new players and ruin the intended experience from the start.
I recently started re-playing Dead Space 2 and when i hit the very first shop in the game, place where you get your health items and guns and upgrades, i saw multiple armors on screen that you can buy. Barely 1 hour into the game.
All these armors are free and offer many advantages, extended inventory, reduce damage and other perks. Shop also has free weapons. An example a pulse rifle. You arent supposed to get pulse rifle that early into the game. yet one is free on the store.
If i was a new player and saw this i would have just gotten the best armor and breezed through the game, completely ruining the pace and tension.
Monster Hunter World does something similar too. It gives you special DLC armors and weapons that allow you to just rush to the DLC content without properly engaging with the base game. I didnt play the game but some new players state that difficulty sky-rockets in the DLC/Late game since they are so used to their DLC equipment carrying them so much.
MGR:R's pc version has Gray Fox blade that cuts through enemies like butter. No need to combo them or learn moves. Just equip this blade and you can one shot even the mini-bosses. When i first played it on PC while young i ruined the combat for myself and ate shit in the Jet Stream Sam DLC
Now you might be saying ''Oh but you can simply not use these, that decision is your's.'' im talking about how these DLCs effect the exprience of a average new gamer who doesnt know about the DLCs affect on their experience.
Alot of ppl who play these games dont know that they are playing the game wrong. And it seriously ruins their experience. Imagine you teached a kid to swim and forced him to wear a oxygen tube through the whole training. Sure he knows how to swim now but he doesnt know how to control his breath or manage his stamina.

I used to enjoy Warhammer 40k, now I hate it.
When I was a teenager, I used to play Warhammer 40k a ton (I was a Grey Knights player) and I made a lot of my friends through the hobby.
My opinion started to change when I asked a black friend of mine to try playing, and he immediately responded he wouldn’t. I asked him why not and he basically pointed out that there wasn’t really any black characters in the Imperium of man (not like the Salamanders, I mean like earth black people), making him feel more attracted to the Xenos factions. He said that was a massive red flag to him, especially due to the whole grimdark setting and xenos genocide theme that the imperium has, and parallels he had seen to his own experiences, which made him feel ostracized by the setting. This conversation planted the seed in my mind for later leaving the hobby.
Later on, before the female custodies drama, I had posted a question online asking why Games Workshop didn’t make female space marines (my girlfriend at the time said she would play if I could find some). The response I got from the community forum where I posted was extremely bigoted and made me reconsider both the community and the grimdark lore that attracted them. I realized that Warhammer tended to attract people I didn’t want to be associated with, and that its lore was a massive part of what attracted these people. More specifically, the way the lore paints the factions, the Imperium of Man in particular, I realized was very poorly done in regards to both the diversity of the characters (mostly white dudes with special “battle nuns” as a faction, and the Salamanders not being black like “earth black people” are, having a charcoal black complexion as opposed to any brown skin) as well as seemingly making light of things like genocide. I suppose that the latter comes with the territory in grimdark universes, but I feel like the combination of it with the lack of realistic diversity (not including fictional races/peoples like mutants, Salamanders, space marines, etc.) has painted a picture that attracts less then respectable people into the hobby.
The female custodies drama was the last straw for me, and I packed up my collection and left the community for good.
That’s a fairly simplified rundown of my experience with the community. I’m now stating to get into Trench Crusade, and am currently enjoying it. I feel like it treats its factions with more dignity and is more respectful of the themes portrayed than GW is with Warhammers story.

People that lie in titles or descriptions about the context of an image or video, to karma farm and invoke hate for one side for engagement.
This is a great example.
This particular video is of a pop-MMA qualifying fight.
The guy in red is named Rinat Khamitov, and the guy in black is not an influencer and just a contestant like everyone else. (Don't know his name)
The particularly hard punch that sent the guy in black into a "fencing posture" (which is evidence of a concussion and possibly brain damage), was not over a sucker punch but because the guy in black hit Rinat after the ref called for a stop, so he got angry.
https://tengrisport.kz/tnsport/kazahstanets-otpravil-sopernika-nokautom-bolnitsu-rolik-595100/
(In Russian so you'll have to translate it with a plugin or something)
Rinat hoped the guy in black would be alright and even wanted a rematch, which didn't work out because the guy in black was still in the hospital.
But it's framed as an arrogant shitty influencer getting what he deserves after fucking around and finding out.
All the replies are making fun of the guy in black, that he "entered BIOS" or "got factory reset" and think it's hilarious seeing him have a seizure from a concussion and possible brain damage because he deserves it.
Lot of people there laughing at the guy in black for having a seizure, and finding it funny that Rinat even mocked his seizure by faking having one of his own, because "well he's just a shitty influencer so he deserves it".
Even if the was really a shitty influencer, I still find it fucked up to be laughing about this and thinking he deserves fucking brain damage, but he didn't do anything at all. He's just a normal dude that was fighting in a match afaik, not an "arrogant influencer".
I see this stuff all over Reddit, and people always instantly believe what they see and then downvote you if you disagree.
Also bonus: Hiding or withholding context to make one side look bad.
I've seen it in r/texts and other places as well. They only give one side (or partial sides) of a conversation in a screenshot, but not what led up to it, making the other party look bad and crazy while everyone in the replies sides with the OP.

I hate when evangelicals can't compartmentalize
Standing outside a mental health support group meeting, and a really pushy Evangelical Christian is trying to convince a new member of the group to say a prayer and convert to christianity. This person has been gently counseled over and over again that this is a secular group, and that while they are welcome to talk about how their faith has helped them, but it's NOT the place for evangelizing. They won't listen. When previously asked to tone it down, they got upset, and started talking about how they have freedom of speech and will not be silenced. They don't seem to understand that it's about boundaries, not control. No one is trying to stop you from being christian, unless being Christian necessitates being really really pushy and annoying.
