I never liked that JFK quote. It sounds like a deepity to me. The government takes our tax dollars, and we should absofuckinglutely ask them what they are going to do for us with our tax dollars. We should demand they use that money for the good of all.

Conversely, I like it, but I expect the people in our government to also follow it.

My issue’s not with the quote but with the apparent double standard.
