When I bought the Rappahannock parking permit it said that my license plate would be my permit. But when I go to the blockades the machine asks either for a QR code or to scan my permit so I’ve had to call every time. Am I supposed to have something? To the guys who saw my friend and me walking around the engineering building and invited us to play hide and seek on Friday night: thank you so much, and I’m sorry I had to leave in the middle of the game.

My friend from back home came to visit, and he wanted to explore the area. I decided to take him to Mason to show him around, even though it was pretty late. He had an incredible time, even though he doesn’t speak English.

It was funny because I had just finished telling him that Mason doesn’t have much social life — and suddenly we were playing games. This is only my second week here as a NOVA transfer, and I’m really glad I got to have some fun outside of class. I am still a bit upset I had to leave becuase we only had a 30 minute parking

I still haven't figured out where I can do my therapy and psychiatry appointments. I tried getting a study room in the jc last time but it just doesn't seem very private and there's a big window where I'm facing everyone. I dont have a car, and I can't do it in my dorm room. Someone said do it outside but I don't really want to considering it's still not very private, plus bad internet and weather. Could I book a study room in the library? Hey all! Does anyone here know who the leadership for the George Mason Voice Acting Club is, or when their meeting times are? I was interested in joining but couldn't attend the club fair last week due to scheduling issues. I found their Mason360, but it seems to be a bit out of date.

I just transferred in as a junior and am starting to regret my decision to start as a commuter. What are the chances of me landing a spring-only housing contract? I plan to apply basically as soon as the portal opens come November.

So I'm currently 2 weeks into ECON 103 with Dr. Rustici. To be honest, I didn't check Rate My Professors or anything before I signed up for classes since it's my first semester here, and I kinda regret it now. I completely can't keep track of where Dr. Rustici is at in his lectures or where he's getting the material from, since a lot of it doesn't seem to come from any of the books he provided.

It's also too late for me to switch to another professor now (and I need to take this course during my first fall semester), so I'm planning on mostly self-teaching myself the course.

Does anyone who has taken ECON 103 with Dr. Rustici know what general materials/topics I should look into to stay on track with his lectures? Also, how should I approach reading the textbooks he provided? Like, are there certain books or chapters I should focus on that actually line up with what he teaches in class? I'm really trying hard to keep up and not fail this class 🥲
